Forgetting to add some important information
This engine was, as most engine, developed to pull a mechanic equipment.
The world decided to use another type of fuel and engine and
I bet most of you have used one of these,
Or you may know some who have or use this.

A vely chalming automobile (Mao) :O:
I guess i just made the confusion complete.. no it is american.
yes it's an American tractor
Markus
Its the Allis-Chalmers electric tractor powered by hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells.
To be precise, the pic Markus posted doesn't show an engine, but a power source.
The actual engine is just an electric motor. Therefore Catfish, who figured also this out, will post the next riddle.

Thanks, this was a good riddle. I was really astonished to hear about this machine, and already in 1958! Why was that not further developed? Seems like a very good idea, i mean today we put fuel cells in BMWs and they have a range of 20 miles :yeah: lmao. Not much progress.. or even the contrary :hmmm:
A new question? If you insist .. ok so what is this? You can choose from two names or purposes, depending on the time :D

St. Angelo in Rome?
Bingo
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castel_Sant%27Angelo
Despite the political unrest in Italy and criticism of the EU, the Italians are quite a pro-Eu bunch, they are proud to be part of it and they show it. We were a bit surprised about the enthusiasm being used to our depressing TV reports lol
As Eisenwurst rightly wrote:
I feel for the owner, wherever he is I understand there were a few "punch ups" there, one nearly wrecking the place while still fairly new.
"Much of the tomb contents and decorations have been lost since the building's conversion to a military fortress in 401 and its subsequent inclusion in the Aurelian Walls by Flavius Honorius Augustus. The urns and ashes were scattered by Visigoth looters during Alaric's sacking of Rome in 410, and the original decorative bronze and stone statuary were thrown down upon the attacking Goths when they besieged Rome in 537"
So the owner or builder was Cesar Hadrian of Rome, but it was only completed after his death. Its initial Name was "Hadrianaeum", and was later renamed in "Castello degli Angeli" ("Castle of Angels") or St. Angelo. It was used as a last resort of the Pope when the attacking troups threatened to capture the dome of St. Peter. and himself, through the centuries. There is an aqueduct running from St. Peter to St. Angelo, with a hidden escape corridor.
Over to you :yep:

That's a good question:
1) The dome in the picture detail is on the side and of course baroque.
2) The cathedral is a mixture of romanesque, gothic, neogothic and baroque styles. The oldest part is really old. The latest additions are from the 18th century.

From left to right:
The Hungary Chapel (baroque, 18th century)
The Western Tower (neogothic, 14th century, the little side chapel was reconstructed after the Allied bombing in WWII)
The Octagon (romanesque with a baroque dome on it, the oldest part and the chapel of the Pfalz of Kaiser Karl, 8th century)
In front of the octagon another two chapels (neogothic, 15th century)
And of course the gothic chancel, Aachen's glass house (14th century, with the highest tracery windows of any German gothic cathedral).
32 Roman-German Kings were crowned in the Octagon starting with Otto I. (936). The last one to receive the crown in Aachen was Ferdinand I. (1531).
"Der Hohe Dom zu Aachen" survived two Allied bombings: July 14th, 1943 and December 24th (!), 1943 and it survived Napoleon stealing everything from its interior the French could carry. It is still the No. 1 landmark of my home town.

For a while I honestly thought it was Mayflower Brewery/Al Capone related.
I inadvertently learned a lot of stuff about Al Capone e.g. he was directly responsible for putting expiry dates on milk bottles - he genuinely didn't want anyone getting sick from drinking bad milk.
Dick Van Dyke eh, 94 and still going strong.

That's gotta set a record for quickest posted and solved.
Yes, famous - as we call it - "Matchstick sculptures" - by the late Brett Whiteley.
I've been trying to upload a photo I took 10 mins ago from my place showing the statue in situ behind the Art Gallery of NSW to give a sense of what it looks like with it's surroundings, but no luck, I'll keep trying.
The photo also shows the ongoing extensions to the Art Gallery - "The Eichhornchen Wing" to better display his stuff.
