here's what we know so far
1. the picture shows approximately a 1/4 portion of 'it'
2. it is a weapon
3. the pictured two pronged gizmo is not the trigger
4. it is from the 20th century
5. it was used during world war II
6. it is not a gun, machine gun, knife, mortar or garrote
7. it does explode
8. it is an air burst device
9. it does have one barrel

is it towed or self-motivated
Rockstar

No it is not designed to be towed to its target. And is only self motivated in the sense that once deployed no outside influence could stop it.

Its still the weekend so Drink up! :Kaleun_Cheers:
The bomb (Little Boy) was detonated by radio altimeter firing the bullet into the target via a high powered aircraft gun. The gun was a 3" diameter, six feet long anti-aircraft barrel that had been bored out to 4" to accommodate the bullet. It weighed about 450 kg, and used Cordite, a conventional artillery smokeless powder, as propellant.
To reduce the possibility of the bullet being driven into the target by a plane crash, the fit of the barrel was intentionally made very tight. The bullet had to be rammed into the breech to assemble the weapon, and about 70,000 lb were required to drive it forward. Even with this precaution, a plane crash which caused the weapon to strike a hard surface could conceivably produce the 500 Gs of acceleration required to fire the bullet, and implode the weapon.
Little Boy was a terribly unsafe weapon design. Once the gun was loaded with the cordite propellant, anything that ignited it would cause a full yield explosion of the bomb. For this reason, the propellant was not loaded into the weapon on the ground. Instead, one of the bombers placed the cordite in the gun after take-off in case a crash or fire occurred.

Could be it, though i doubt the time "Der kleine Vampir" came out it would have been printed with gothic letters (?) :hmmm:
Or maybe "Der kleine Prinz" by Saint-Exupéry ? Though i doubt gothic letters here, too.
^^ The Messerschmitt KR (for "Kabinenroller") three-wheeler was nice, we usually see them here on classic car meetings. There is also a four-wheel version named the Messerschmidt Tg for "Tiger" with a more powerful 500 ccm (!) engine.
https://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrkultur/60-deutsche-autos-der-messerschmitt-kabinenroller-a-655152.html
It was able to reach 125 km/h, for comparison a new Porsche reached 135 back then. So not really frightening though :03:.
It is often said that the company used the perspex canopies, wheels and other parts from the Messerschmitt 'BF' (Bayerische Flugzeugwerke) 109, but the dimensions do not fit - they were entirely new parts. Also no Spandaus (this is so WW1), the 109 had always used the MG 17, along with later, bigger cannons.
When the war had ended, building german military aircraft was not a priority here (indeed verboten by the allies), so Willy Messerschmitt went to Spain and went on constructing planes there. A former colleague of Messerschmitt from the days of jet engine research during the war, a Mr. Fend, built this car in Rosenheim.
The Messerschmitt company later merged with Bölkow and Blohm&Voss to the new MBB company, which then became DASA and now is EADS.

Aim of the game is to shoot enemy vessels with a spring driven torpedo.

Junkers Ju-86?
Yep, that is it
It was an often exported type before the war, as a bomber and civilian version with and without long nose, with or without glass front; amongst other countries also to South Africa. The K- type shown here was equipped with Pratt&Whitney engines for the South African Air Force, which will have thrown off some here - the originally used Diesel engines look completely different.
I had just posted the video about the Ju 86 high altitude plane version in the "interesting video" thread, but i admit this looks way different.

Here with different in-line engines:

The story connected to this special plane is that Jan Smuts on his way to North Africa in 1940 was almost shot down in it, by what they call "friendly fire".
"Prior to the war, Oswald Pirow was the Defence Minister under the Hertzog regime, he was also a key player in the establishment of South African Airways (SAA). As an ardent supporter of Nazi Germany and the Nazi cause himself he had a keen relationship with Nazi Germany. He toured Germany on military inspections, also buying German military hardware on a number of occasions. As a result both SAA and the SAAF at the beginning of the war found themselves equipped with German-made aircraft."
"On 31 October 1940 General Smuts’ party left at sunrise, not in the Lodestar they arrived in but in a Junkers 86 bomber of the South African Air Force piloted by Captain D. B. Raubenheimer and accompanied by a second Junkers 86 carrying war correspondents, the formation also included a Dragon Rapide and an escort of two Hurricanes.
The aircrafts were making straight for Garba Tulla but changed course because General Smuts had been specially asked to fly over Archer’s Post airfield, headquarters of No. 11 Bomber Squadron, SAAF."
"Later on 31 October 1940 the South African Air Force Ju-86 bomber/transports carrying the VIP contingent did not follow specified procedures to identify themselves as ‘friendly’, as they passed over Archer’s Post. The formation did not signal the specified recognition signal, which consisted of lowering the undercarriage and waggling the wings.
Under the impression that the formation was Italian, three SAAF Hawker Furies of 2 Squadron’s ‘D’ detachment, led by Captain J. Meaker, were scrambled and intercepted the formation."
