Catfish
11-01-14, 07:29 PM
Of course, it is the Vasa.
From its bow, it is a galleon, but the Vasa was more of a 'Dreadnought', a ship of the line.
Galleons usually are wooden sailing ships of the 18th century, or earlier - not much of them around in the 19th century i think.

well, was gonna say towed array sonar system, but that's towed....so is it part of a weapon system. The green thing seems to have a prop....hmmm, doesn't look like a torpedo I know, but I'll guess....by the wire torpedo firing system..

ikalugin
11-05-14, 02:11 AM
It does have a propulsion system similar to the mk48. The gray cylinder is indeed loaded into the torpedo tube with the weapon.

It is indeed a russian/soviet design and although the gray cylinder 8th about as archaic as SET65 (reason for that being that all weapons mist be loaded automatically, without human intervention), the weapon itself is not.

Also, who said that it isn't wire guided?

None of the above.

Nothing too serious regarding the Cutty Sark either...a minor fire.

Rgr that :yeah:

With a build cost of 2.3m pounds Big Geordie, also known as BE 1550W – a walking dragline excavator, was once Western Europes biggest muck shifter.

- Big Geordie arrived in Northumberland in 1969 where its huge shovel rapidly gouged away surface earth to expose seams of coal below. Visitors from all over the world came to see Big Geordie in all its prime and even featured on BBC’s Jim’ll Fix it.
