Reading the rules in #1 as set out by Grant I'd have said fumo had been replied to therefore allowing him another opportunity.
Anyone can post one guess until there is a posting from the starter to say whether or not it has been answered correctly. At that time, you may post a new guess.
No big deal in my estimation but in fumos position I'd certainly have guessed again having been told my previous guess was incorrect.

If you put a cow in a horse race that doesn't make it a horse, does it?
Thats not the arguement.
If you pit a vehicle with a reaction engine and a vehicle with an internal combustion engine against each other on a drag strip. They are both commonly viewed here in the U.S. as drag racers usually on a drag strip drag racing. Both are built to not only race against one another but too set speed records as well. Furthermore I also identified the top spoiler the jet engine and parachute canister used to brake the vehicle.

This vehicle wasn't built to race against another vehicle, so just taking part in one or two drag races does not define it as a drag racer... if its owner used it to drop off groceries at the weekends, that wouldn't make it a delivery truck

Going to the grocer store isn't the same as drag racing.
The same big truck used at Yuma with the same big jet engine, top spoiler and parachute brakes racing another big truck with a top spoilers, jet engine and parachute brakes. Competing in whats called a drag race also known as straight line competition. Why do we call them drag racers or dragsters for short? Because they are at a drag strip which by definition is simply a straight line track, no turns, no banks. Shockwave isnt called a "speed record truck" or "that truck that wasn't built to race another" (even though it does as the video below shows). A dragster is not a particular type of vehicle design as it can be anything. The reason its called a drag racer is because it ran on a straight line track known as...? You got it a drag strip! Those drag strip racers can also compete against another or just a clock.
Your lawyers need to come over here where it originated and learn some :yep:
A dragrace between the two Shockwave jet trucks at the 131 drag strip in Martin Michigan!

None of the (admittedly few) write-ups I read when I posted the image said anything about it becoming a drag racer... they only spoke about the record busting. But now that just about everything written about it talks about it as a drag racer I must concede, Rockstar... and offer my grovelling apologies
There was a feature somewhere that announced its first ever race... the reason I thought it fair to say it was not a "drag racer", and I did mention this in my post #6908
When was the last time you put a CD on from your Justin Bieber collection thinking,"I really must listen to one of my Justin Bieber records"?
As I recall it was a Saturday and I was wearing my favorite pink frock...
It was about the same time you last used a dictionary :)
