The picture represents the prototype, but variants on it were used until the 1950s across the world. After the 1950s it wasn't used, no, well not that I'm aware of anyway, it's entirely possible that some old examples are knocking around in some out of the way nations, but not particularly likely.

Though that is a very optimistic range at that point little more than tossing a rock really. They made a special round to allow that kind of range as I recall. came out in 1916 or so.

@Armistead you guessing is just strange four wheel carriage gun? You know it is a machine gun. Hotchkiss,Maximum, Browning are all gun designers or gun makers and there is no Vickers MK. Mk or MK stands for Mark in British military nomenclature there is no such thing as simply Mark nothing.

Blood thought he knew the native mind;
He said you must be firm, but kind.
A mutiny resulted.
I shall never forget the way
That Blood stood upon this awful day
Preserved us all from death.
He stood upon a little mound
Cast his lethargic eyes around,
And said beneath his breath:
'Whatever happens, we have got
The Maxim Gun, and they have not.'

In regards to range, I defer to the Gunny:

Two were found in Berlin in 1945, so there's a possibility that they were used during the Battle for Berlin by the Wehrmacht, however nothing has been confirmed. The largest cannon carried is 5.7cm in calibre.

Kubelwagen ??

Nope.
