Winner! Oberon! yeah I'll figure out how to do that-sorry for the delay got called out for an evening to gotham. The V bronze device is attached to ribbons of other awards and is for valor, In 2011, updated regulations concerning the Medal of Honor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal_of_Honor) specified that the "V" Device (or Combat "V" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combat_%22V%22)),....would be used to denote additional citations in the rare event of a second Medal of Honor recipient. This is the first use of the "V" device for a (2nd) Medal of Honor. Sadly, in 1996, ADM Jeremy Boorda, Chief of Navy Operations of the Department of the Navy, fearing a scandal and disgrace for wearing two unauthorized V devices on two Viet Nam decoration ribbons, committed suicide (gunshot) rather than suffer humiliation from a pending investigation..@ Stealhead and Betanov; those 'branded' valorous with a V on their jacket can be female and if pulling twenty year hitches, move from base to base-sort of a vagabond/gypsy thing IMHO:O:

It is from an aircraft, and it is a vent, but it's not a Harrier, although the later versions are probably almost as maneuverable as one, or as close as you can get without installing VTOL equipment anyway.

tail turret of a B-52?
Armistead
09-24-14, 01:04 PM

09-24-14, 01:17 PM
I concur with Aktungbby, but I'll go as far as to say it's within the A-F suffix range. The G was remote controlled and the H was a single Vulcan, also remote controlled. :hmmm:
