Very real! They can be shocking in nature and deliver a decisive blow...and they help prevent abusive crime.BINGO! Robot jockies for very pricey camel racing in many parts of the world. Children as young as four were being used and the laws were enacted, starting in 2002, to prevent such 'abusive crime" one arm hold the whip: a decisive blow:O:....and it was discovered that some were designed to deliver a shock :timeout:to the camel - an illegal item in the racing dromedary 'sport of kings'. The fast camels sell for $200K+ Initial problems faced by the design team, led by Alexandre Colot, included the fact that the camels were conditioned to the use of human jockeys. Early designs confused or frightened the camels.[2] The designs were modified to include more human-like features, including a mannequin-like face, sunglasses, hats, racing silks and even traditional perfumes used by human jockeys. Other technical issues included the conditions that the robots and the computers would be put under: the high temperatures of a dusty desert environment along with a fast-moving and uneven ride. The first successful official race featuring robotic jockeys was conducted in Qatar by 2005. The robots are aluminum-framed with a "thorax" about the size of a large book and contain small hinged arms that control the whip and the reins.v "ie: somewhat smaller than a child jocky imho":yep: I thought for sure d@rk51d3 had it with "Giddyup"!!?? https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.2ouF8Ko6f7GMOxeBPsZmMwHaDv?pid=Api&rs=1 Over to Jimbuna:salute:

Afraid not. Well, not a Fender:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tnw7udh8tj08fbp/Strat%20-%20Squier.jpg?raw=1

My first electric guitar. Simply couldn't afford a Fender Strat as a 15 year old kid, but of course it had to be a Stratocaster. Fender Bassman (!) for amplification and a 4x10 Fender Box I got cheaply and second hand from a local punk band. The sound was great, but when the tubes got hot a distinct smell of Mary Jane was noticeable. I still have the Squire Strat, but I hardly play it.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/nvoxgacayn44o9f/Ibanez%20SZ520QMGAB-1B-01.jpg?raw=1

And this is the Ibanez I mostly play ATM. Never wanted an Ibanez until I tried this one. It plays and tunes like candy cream. The humbuckers are great for the hard/heavier department. Bought it second hand on the night I first played it. Great axe.

I'll come up with something juicy tomorrow, have to hit the sack now

I'll have a scout around for something.

Between the four of you the mystery is just about solved, so who can join them all up?

I never knew this existed until yesterday and believe you me it is very weird.

Catfish

Yes!
Heavily edited, 'cause i was wrong first. Sorry for the fuzz!

You are right, this tail belongs to a Halberstadt CL.IV two-seater, the tail section is slightly more rounded than the CL.II.

https://i.imgur.com/XCIjrALl.jpg

The C was for 'connaissance or catégorie, and L for leicht/light, II or IV means the type, the plane was mostly used for ground attacks, but a 200 hp version performed especially well over 3000 meters of altitude.
The CL.IV differed from the CL.II by a shorter fuselage (75 cm less), making it more manoeuverable than the II; and some had another engine.
