Looks like an adjuster for leveling a platen. I can't think of anything in brass but I'll guess for a 3D printer.
It is adjusting something, which in normal cases would be visible in this photo.
But it's not part of a printer.

edit: ok i see there are different theories.. what was told to us is that the translation from hebrew to latin ws initially corrcet, from hebrew crowned to "coronata", but the later scribers made an error changing it to "cornata" leaving out an o, so cornata is "horned".

One that comes to mind would be Conus textile or another cone snail, at least it hunts shooting poisonous arrows.
Cannot say from the photo though, the softer parts of those snails are varying among the species :hmmm:
