It was nice to see Cameron rejecting an independant inquiry that he had commissioned, the key finding of which was that an independant body is needed to regulate the press over its criminal activities and backroom deals with politicians as self regulation clearly failed.
Funnily enough the muppet said he didn't want reams of legislation like Ireland has, the reams of legislation here happens to be just two pages which covers setting up an independant press complaints authority....which is a very small ream.

I think Stephen Fry sums it up well....
"It would seem David Cameron's address is no longer Number 10 Downing Street: it's now Flat 2, Rupert Murdoch's arse."

The Chancellor has promised to hunt down tax evaders and tax the wealthy - warning that everyone must make a contribution.
In his Autumn Statement on Wednesday, George Osborne is set to hit the pension pots of the wealthiest by slashing the £50,000 annual tax relief cap on pensions to as little as £30,000, according to The Sunday Times. That could raise between £600m and £1.8bn.
Tax evaders are also under the scanner of the Chancellor who told The Sun "we are hunting down those who evade tax wherever they

Uncanny resemblance there Jim!, also a very apt juxtaposition of your sig wording and the picture of the primate on the left!.

I'd rather have the monkey in charge any day, he has a higher IQ and works for a few bananas, peanuts etc..

So your tories are refusing to impliment the recomendations of Levenson because that would be laws which would mean government "interference" apparently.
Yet your minister in charge of the media is seemingly involved in threatening the media to not run stories about her fiddling her expenses.
Is that actual "government" interference?

Another nail in the coffin of the British workforce

Redundancy talks period to be cut from 90 to 45 days

The 90-day consultation period before large-scale redundancies can take place is to be cut to 45 days, under government plans.
Employment Relations Minister Jo Swinson said the move was aimed at helping workers and businesses.
Labour said the changes would not boost economic growth and the TUC said: "Making it easier to sack people is the last thing we need."
But many business groups welcomed the move.
The change, which would affect the whole of the UK, is planned to be introduced in April. It would affect redundancies of 100 or more workers.

No surprises here then...

The worst-off councils in England will have central funding cut by an average of nearly 3%, Eric Pickles has said.
But the communities secretary told MPs the wealthiest councils face average funding cuts of 8.7% for 2013-14.
He did not give a single national figure for funding cuts, but said other measures meant overall that councils' "spending power" would be 1.7% lower.

I doubt UKIP would side with the Tories....or Labour for that matter but if the option arises it would make for an extremely interesting scenario.

Egan
12-19-12, 05:18 PM
They'd never do it with Labour - UKIP's membership is currently swelling with Old Tories unhappy about the parties current direction vis gay marriage, Europe - the usual Tory bugbears - and these people do not represent the caring, sharing wing of the party. They hate Labour with a passion. Any deal between those two parties would be even more unholy than the Molotov - Ribbentrop pact.

But the problem remains that in the event of the Tories winning another minority victory - and I have a horrible feeling they will seeing as Labour have decided to become the most useless bunch of prats in the world - , it's highly unlikely that they are going to ask the Libs on board again. There is too much water under the bridge for that to happen. Whether we see it filter down to us or not, there are a substantial number of Tory backbenchers who will demand of Dave (or, more likely someone else,) an attempt to bring those little lost sheep back into the fold.

Remember, they might be doing their damnedest to rip out whatever heart and soul this country still has, but there are still a lot of Tories who think they aren't doing enough, and a lot of them blame Clegg and the Libs for diluting the Tories God Given right to destroy every institution that does not directly benefit them. As we drop headlong into an unprecedented triple dip recession, the hardliners will howl all the louder. Farange for deputy PM come 2015. You heard it here first.

Personally, I'm beginning to hope the Mayans were right. Even more personally, I'll be delighted to trot of into Armageddon as long as the Comet that does for us hits Ian Duncan Smith first, right on top of his bald, viscous and unspeakably evil head.

My dear friends in the city, as you can see I have started to give these filthy low life scrounging plebs a hard time by cutting their benefits, I can say next year I will inflict more pain on these slobs who are still in bed at 5 am in the morning, while you my friends have to go out in filthy cold weather lashing down with rain to work.

Next year, all the unemployed will be forced to work in sweat shops 16 hours a day with no breaks and work until they die. As for the working class I will make them pay 100% TAX & VAT on everything and I mean everything. They will have to pay £500 to use their own toilets..This will teach these scum bags to vote Labour. And as for the middle class who as we know are so stupid this is where you come in my friends.

Our PM David Cameron will give you the green light in 2013, and I want you to rip off the middle class with even more wonderful ponzi schemes and bankrupt them all. Once we have destroyed the working/middle classes they will become our slaves and do as we tell them. Finally I say this, go forth and make money for me so I can wipe my arse on it.

Memo urges Lib Dems to criticise Tories

Lib Dems have been encouraged to criticise their Tory coalition partners as well as the Labour opposition.
In a leaked internal memo, senior Lib Dems were urged to spread the message that the Conservatives cannot be trusted to help build a fairer society.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg had told his party it keeps the coalition "anchored in the centre ground".
But the memo suggests voters should be reminded that the Tories wanted to "look after the super rich".

How about we kick his arse into a rocket and fire it at the sun. :03:

Newspapers said Cameron needed to reset Britain's direction in the world at a time when the cuts in the budget deficit would really kick in.
Fat chance, he is a blinkered fool.

The Daily Telegraph said 2013 would be a year of challenges and it was unclear whether Britain's leaders would rise to them.
Toff Boy! :har:

And the UK's survival will come into focus when the bill for a referendum on Scotland leaving the union is published.
So what, the EU told Salmond if he wins the vote this dose not give Scotland the right of automatic entry into the EU. They have to beg & bribe there way in.

"David Cameron must very soon decide if he is prepared to lead an unstoppable movement to restore British sovereignty. If he decides not to do so then a people's army will march right over the top of him," it said.
Lock & Load people time to storm on Toff Boy and Co and rid the world of his kind.

Iain Duncan Smith calls benefit rises unfair

This bloke is really pissing me off all he his doing is hitting the working class as per normal for Tory bastard like this piece of trash.

"This government is restoring fairness to the system and universal credit will ensure it always pays to be in work." :har::har::har::har::har:

Liam Byrne hit the nail on the head

Shadow work and pensions secretary Liam Byrne said cuts to tax credits had pushed millions of working families into poverty and now meant thousands of part-time workers were "better off on benefits".
"Now he wants to hit working families again with his strivers tax bill. Yet this omnishambles government thinks its right to give an average £107,000 tax cut for 8,000 millionaires," he said.
"This Tory-led government is comprehensively out of touch with the reality of Britain's working families."

Jimbuna
01-02-13, 07:46 AM
Well the only time the working class are truly of matter to the politicians is when there are ballot boxes at polling stations so if they, the working class want to see any real change they must make the effort and vote at the next general election.

The three million figure included almost two million part-time workers, many of whom wanted a full-time job.

What I have been reading so far, workers are living in fear of loosing their jobs and will rack up long hours for less pay. Slowly but surely slavery is returning to this country and I will say this for the record it will be the norm by 2050 if not earlier.

Looks like the Liberals are getting closer to becoming Tory scum!

Burstow Calls For Curb On Winter Fuel Pay

Winter fuel allowances for pensioners should be means-tested to help fund an overhaul of the care system for the elderly, a former minister has suggested.
Liberal Democrat Paul Burstow, in a report with the Centre Forum think tank

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/burstow-calls-curb-winter-fuel-pay-093516050.html#s5XW8wz

And talking of Tory scum, this vile gem from Westminster council..

Benefits link to exercise plan
Overweight benefit claimants could have their money docked if they refuse exercise regimes prescribed by doctors under pioneering council plans.
Smart cards would be brought in to monitor the use of leisure centres, meaning local authorities could reduce welfare payments for those who fail to follow their GP's advice.
The introduction of the Oyster-style cards is one of a number of "radical" proposals designed to tackle rising levels of obesity set out in a report by Westminster City Council and a local government think-tank.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/benefits-exercise-plan-102156462.html#pwRZgQB

Why stop there how about concentration/slave labour camps, work them to death. The bloody media in this country are sucking up to the rich scum, the rich are destroying this country by making those below them go at each other like mad dogs while these money pigs whoop it up.

Are they going to cut Housing benefit to those who are in work and fat?
