If the screenshot is off a MP game then the only mod we use is the 'Dec 23rd update'...but bear in mind one or two like to 'tart' there photos up with CS2 :lol: ...you can tell from the tone of my post that I prefer to publish the screen shot 'as is seen' from the screen :up:

Here one Brit capitolship that won't see port again. This is my 1st GWX patrol out of Whilhelmshaven Aug 3, 1940. On Aug 13th we met a large enemy convoy heading ENE at 9kts in AM29. After evading a Flower Corvette in the lead, this one was spotted in the convoy's center. After 3 torpedos hitting it, letting it sit for 2 hours and then 2 more torpedos sent to finish it off, it finally goes down. The HMS Rodney at 36,000 tons heads for Davey Jone's Locker. The crew will celebrate tonight. :D

If you are asking about the Med water thenI believe that is a part of SH3 Commander.It loads that water color when you are based in the Med.

Nope, Career on my 4th (and last) patrol... I was sunk hours later...

It was my own torp, I fired it from tube 3 towards a trawler which was hunting me... well the torpedo missed and i forget about it (its a falke, the first acoustic...)
the escort rammed me and pushed me down (as you can see) seconds after that, i made this picture...

actually the ramming saved my life. i would be still at 12m PD and then, im sure, the torpedo (magnetic) would have been exploded

the eel hits the screw and sunk the armed trawler:up:

I got right in the middle of a convoy and wreaked havoc. I sent a few homing torps towards the destroyer escorts and hit an Ore transport and a couple of Ammunition ships :up: These 3 sailors were maybe the lucky ones...

Just a Tip: Use delete on the NumPad, it will remove the Instruments. And Drag&Drop the StopWatch to the top, so you cant see it anymore...

Made contact with a unknown Vessel... I was chasing him a while and dived later. I nearly lost him because of my slow U-Boat (IIA), so I surfaced again. Suddenly I was getting closer very fast...
A closer look through my Zeiss Glas shocked me. He was sinking suddenly, without beeing attacked by anyone (1939 - neutral).

I use program called 'Infranview'
1. Download the program from http://www.irfanview.com/ (and install it ofcourse! :D )
2. Load up your image to infranview (File->Open)
3. When your image is loaded go to Image->Resize/Resample, a new window will pop up. On the right side, you can change the resolution. Just pick one of them.
4. Go to File->Save As and pick JPG from the drop-down thing.

That`s it!

Also its worth noting that Imageshack has nasty popups - you need to have anti-spyware / popup blocker active. Photobucket.com is much better.

And as for image manipulation, Adobe Photoshop is widely regarded as the best (most powerful) tool. I use it almost every day.

If you don't want to be bothered resizing or whatever, FRAPS will save the screen as a JPG file - and you can press the print button as many times as you want, it will just write new files :). It also will capture your screen in a movie (AVI).

Brag - Photobucket makes it nice & easy for you. When you have it uploaded just click your mouse into where it says "IMG Code" you'll get a little popup near your mouse that says "Copied". Then all you do is come here and press CTRL-V (or Edit > Paste) and thats it :)

Biggles - PNG files aren't too hot, you should upload in JPG format. JPG's are compressed files (like an MP3 is a compressed music file, JPG is a compressed picture). Without going into the differences between the likes of JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, TIF etc... you should use JPG in this instance. Chances are you'll have some software that will do this for you. You can get it free if not :)

Yep GWX the place is Freemantle (sorry if I spelt it wrong) Sw Austrailia the port is crawling with subs (Mid 44) the count was 5 when I took them picks getting in is easy but there's 3 US DD's in the harbour these are on the outer pier the rest are inside plus a couple of Medium Merchants and a couple of Troop ransports.

Trust me mate. The whole of the Indian Ocean all the way down to Australia is packed with Allied ships. I had the time of my life down under during the Beta Testing, and I intend to go again soon when the time arrives (I'm still in Jan 1941)

It was on a long patrol that took 31 days outside Africas coast.

But first i spotted this nice light ship after i left Lorient close to portugies shore.

When i was outside Grande canaria i spotted a convoy. but i was in bad attacking position so i tryed to run att full speed on surface to get a better position but i go spotted by the escorts and they came after me.
I manage to sink one Black swan whit an rear torpedo.
And i guess the other 2 destroyers got so pissed and that they couldnt find me ( was diving real deep and silent runnin)

So they throwed out all of thiers starshell they had so it looked like the sky had got a lots of new shining stars.

i decided to check out an small island that i barely could se on the map.
it was in middle of no where ( quadrant FM 28).

I found a small island and i could se some natives on the shore throwing coconuts at us. :)

But what suprised me was the depth so close to shore.

Then i decided to sail to saint helena island and try to find some prey in the harbour.

I sneaked in there and they had only an armed trawler as patrol boat there so i sank it whit a well iamed Eel.

I sneaked in close to the harbour and saw an Fiji cruiser that i gave my last 3 torpedo. Then i tryed to sneak out when suddenly all hell broke loose.

Ive hited something or something had hited me.
Loads of damage and flooding and the sub sunk like a rock. At 90 meters depth i hited the bottom real hard so i took more damage.
We managed to recover from flooding but aft diesel engine was destroyed and many other things as well.

When i checked i saw what caused the problem.

MINES.

I was in the middle of a freking minefield.

I managed to get out from it and whit a crippled boat we got home safe to lorient. Just in time for christmas 23 december 1941.

LoL it was a hole tribe. Around 35 of them.

I think the tribe is called The Troglodytes.

I could even hear they was screaming out the tribal chefs name in corus. BUNA,, BUNA,JIMBUNA.

Our chief had loads of coconuts after that, so we had cocunuts pie for 17 days.
Tasted yummy but it gives enourmous gases.

On another note i think that small remote island is a secret naval base for some odd people. Coz on every coconut we got in our head a small label was attached to them:

I was on a patrol on the US east coast close to new york.

First ship i encounterd was this little nice Lake ship.

After i completed my mission and a few sunken ships and downed aircraft i decided to try and sneak into New York.
Ive never been there in the game but i think its a must to se the liberty statue.

The straight was heavily guarded by loads of enemy ships.
And i was afraid of subnets and minefields.
i was lucky to spot a freighter that was inbound so i layed me just behind him on periscope depth.
To my suprise i managed to sneak past all thos destroyers. It was darn thrilling moment

And at a point i saw a passenger liner that was on outbound and came just in my way.
i had 3 Eels left and i pumped them right into the big fat liners hull and after a while she sunk. My first Liner in GWX was sunk. Nice trophy :)

Jul 28, -42 at 0205 hours the U-201 was lost with all hands in the BE sector.
She was just diving after recharging her batteries in heavy fog when an Destroyer emerged from the fog and bombed Weis with crew to submariners heaven.
This is the last picture, taken when she left U-463 Jul 10´th.

Intercepted a heavily escorted convoy SW of Scapa. Stinking miserable weather, 300 meters visibility. Merchies going in opposite direction passing in perfect line 10-20 meters to one side. A large freighter loomed 360 degrees on the scope. Had just enough time to lower scope before he hit conning tower. Fired magnetic pistol torp from stern tube and dove to 150 meters. Torpedo hit but did not sink the ship. After escorts and convoy were gone, surfaced, to find the freighter sitting dead in the water.

ever heard of a lad called Bruce Springsteen? He is actually pretty good. He is an american singer who has been doing some different kind of music now.

My sig. is referring to the concert he had in Globen,Stockholm in october last year, where he played with the Seeger Session band (17 members, whoa!:o ) and played mostly old american folk-songs. Just wonderful music!
