I call this one "My Immortal"!
After sinking 2 Costal Marchants (one broke apart ans sunk so fast that and none made) and having seen the Lifeboats float away,
I saw this guy swim alone among debries in my Binos.
Far from his mates in the boats!
Taking a better, look i saw him suddenly disapear from the surface and went after him with the F12 cam.

My Immortal was playing in the radio as he sunk away!:cry: Slowly!

I have a question: that Bf-109 skin looks like the one I wanted to use with GWX but couldn't. I see the '8' on the fuselage and wonder. Is it different from the regular GWX one, and if so, how can I get it?

Not too big, but you left the cursor right in the middle of the first one. On the other hand, they're all quite good, and the 'Storm' on is fantastic! The spray looks great.:sunny:

Thanks for the positive comments :). You know, I actually checked them before I posted and I still didn't see the cursor on the first one...what a newb I am :oops:

I only run it at standard resolution, 1024 * 768, but I do use OLC's Uber mod, he's really tweaked the environment well, and quite a bit of anti-aliasing etc.

The after picture doesn't look that good. The rain doesn't have any depth.
You should add some fog, and put some "sharp" rain on top of that rain you've put.

That reminds me - I would really like to see a system like this for the upcoming WWI mod, although I don't know if it will be possible to code it. That way the game could simulate the stages of the war when submarines had to give advance warning before attacking, accept surrenders, and so on.

This is one patrol that I'll long remember and may well replay over a few times given time. I took a save game before sinking the KGV so I might go back after finishing this patrol and have a crack at sinking the other two big boys. All up there were 3 BB's KGV and 2 Nelsons, plus 8 CL's!:o

If I'd had a wolf pack to assist we could have played havoc with the British efforts in the Med.:arrgh!:

Anyway back to looking for Q ships where ever they may be.

No secrets, I use Paint.Net. Freeware prog. Some softening, maybe some glow, a little zoom blur, fool around with brightness, contrast, saturation. Add a overlay of clouds, big with low roughness. :hmm: , maybe some noise and... no thats it really:yep:
