It would be greatly appreciated.
Thos skins look like the ones included with the Airpower 1.4c mod. It can be found on Terrapin's site.
Syxx_Killer is right. P-38 is stock. The skin "B-24 Liberator by Jace11" is available at Terrapin's site.
Let's considerate that the 3D model of the B-24 is very very simple, and if you see the model from a close distance it looks very ugly, with or without skin.

Keelbuster, you have some nice shots, too. I didn't look through all of them, but might I suggest something? When taking screenshots, if you want to remove the panel with the dials, text, and stuff just press the . (Del) on the numpad to remove it. That also gets rid of the Paused message when the game is paused. Really makes getting the cool angles easier. :cool:

btw, everything in the mediterranean looks pretty. It's fifty times better than the atlantic. Arctic waters look pretty, also.

You should see the pics from the 3rd patrol! Bernard refused to shut down the radar when surfaced (He loves the green color! :D ), so U616 where attacked really badly by multiple RAF aircraft.

Look for where it says SeaType=00, or something like that... change it to 80 (mediterranean water) or 150 (arctic water).

This is the resolution that I play at since its my laptops native resolution. Sh3 runs smooth with no problems ...I did not even notice any of the nvidia bugs so far.

Here is one of my screen shots.. I caught them by surprise :).. And I sunk them with my deck gun after taking out their main gun first.

I had heaps more but for some unknown reason they are gone now :(.. Especially the ones I had of a crippled destroyer that I crippled that was part of a large convoy.

As after talking out its engines with one torpedeo I snuck up behing it and then surfaced right behind. So as its front guns could not get me. I took out the rear gun with my deck gun and then slowly finished it off. Then I went back to sinking the rest of the ships in the convoy.

Had lots of fun with that one :).

Anyone entering the competition on realsimulation? I was going to but I already have U99 sitting on my desk, it's a brilliant model if anyone's interested in it. It's a VIIC, Both the scopes work on it, i.e go up and down :) and great detail too. It'a about 50cm in length and stands 15cm with the scopes up. Well worth having. :up:

The one with the crew being blasted into the air poses a question....There was a debate on here about ethics, how come it's ok to portray men being flung into the air but not to have men abandon ship in a lifeboat? I'd feel easier aboat sinking a ship if you could see the crew survive rather than all going down with the ship. There should be a lifeboat mod. And crew walking on board the decks like the fellas that wander around the docksides.:up:

The ethics question will always be there, and I'm certainly among those who've always wanted lifeboats (aren't most of us?). I think the reason we don't have lifeboats is that you could shoot at them - but I'd be OK with lifeboats that, like the dock crews and nurses, are invincible :hmm:

How many games are there for kids these days where they just go around "blasting" everything and everyone in sight? How violent are those games? Aren't we being a tad sensitive here? How many kids would want to spend hours playing at U-boat Captains anyway? And besides it would be a downloadable MOD for those that want it, not an add-on available for sale in shops to kids. Forgive me for saying this but the lads n' lasses, including myself, who dedicate themselves to this sim, and mods etc. are a bit like flightsim and trainsim fans, except maybe our anoraks are a different colour. :roll:

You using any wave mod for those storm screenshots?
Those waves look huge.... :huh:

I think that's just manually-tweaked waves, but they should be the equivalent of the 2x waves that you can set with SHIII Commander, I think.

I'm thinking of putting them back to default though, since they sunk a few destroyers that patrol :shifty:

- I dont want to mod.
- I want my game to be realistic, so no 100kts subs.
- I´ve played the game since it was released, so it really starts to repeat itself
- My computer sucks, so I cant attack the larger convoys without my fps dropping to 2-4.
- Same goes for the harbors.

+ The mods keep me interested.
+ Withour WaW, I would´ve stopped playing already.
