Myocarditis is a known side effect from Moderna vaccine.
This is why Danes who get the Moderna vaccine shall be undergoing control at their doctors.

If I'm not wrong it's mostly men who get this special infection Myocarditis

More and more hospitals in Germany, especially in the South and South-East, but in the North as well, prepare for Triage. Since many of those who will go into ICU in the coming two weeks and will die afterwards are infected already now, this is inevitable and cannot be prevented. The seeds are sown, they cannot be taken back again.

I think a general lockdown again is becoming more and more likely.

The states' and national government once again and for the repeated time have failed completely and with flying colours. ONCE AGAIN. They are mercilessly opportunistic and fixiated on their party power games. They are incompetent on the medical matter, do not understand what epidemiologists tell them, or do not want to listen to them. They are worthless scum. The cost us hundreds of billions, and they cost us hudnreds if not thousands of lives that could have been saved. They are late at every need for a decision, they are always too late, always. Nobody can say they did not know, and that one could not have known it. The scenario we now hopelessly slide into has been predicted and proven already in early summer - and politicians did not listen, they did not want to listen since it collided with their precious "plans" for how reality has to bow to their imagination.

In germany, things are worse than they ever have been duirng last year. And we are not even close to the climax of the current wave. Its that bad that in southern regions they evacuate patients to hospitals in neighbouring countries.

The ammount of stupidity on display in all this is breathtaking and frustrating. Four waves, and nothing learned nothing.

That must be the reason why more and more German experts already have started to warn of the inevitable fifth wave.

More and more doctors and nurses, but also research scientists, quit in frustration and due to being burned out. They get wasted, and tey get burnt like cannot fodder. But not for a good cause, but for political stupdity and unscrupulousness. I can and will not criticise them for quitting - but I encourage them to quit. Who is John Galt?

Halleluja!!!
I avoided my parents as described earlier and did not meet them, also send them daily liks to original studies, and indeed put pressure on them and indicated clearly I will not play their game any longer.

I just got a call from my Mum, she and my father have dates with the doc early Decembre and early January, BionNTech it will be.
Halleluja! :yeah: That was a difficult birth...

Now the time is ticking until mid-January. Then, together with the Vitamine-D boosting, all that ordinary people can do, will have been done, and from then on its a question of fate.

^ True, but look at some comments here or what is said in talk shows. It is not only dumb politicians, others are not better. No one has to testify for any education to become politician here.

Then there is lobby pressure from all sides economy, who want their business to run without inconvenient restriction just to save a few lives.

The reluctance to prolong a general(!) lockdown and simply make vaccinations mandatory have helped the virus multiply in a way it is now here to stay.
Some people with their "only 0,4 percent die blah" do not understand what exponential growth means.

We made it easy for the virus, the answer to the pandemic was not determined enough, now it has had enough time to multiply and mutate.

As said before if you do not intervene and let certain media and self-appointed "experts" on the internet – along with certain media, propaganda and quirks have their say publicly, you get the least common denominator, and the result is what we have. You do not get facts removed by not believing in it.

B.t.w. Your John Galt would probably have been an anti vaccer, and encouraged all to do business as usual to keep up his own personal business, and income. If people are dumb, let them.

John Galt, if he were a nurse, would have refused to sacrifice himself for the stupdity or laziness of those ending up in ICU unvaccinated. If he were the figure described in the novel, he would have let reason command his action. He would have gotten the jab, and in any form would have insisted to pay for it directly or indirectly if thinbking that he had not already done so by paying taxes - and sold his metal to those who are willing to pay his price that he reasonably calculated.

He would not have distributed free lunches, nor let himself getting abused in the name of "altruism".

You should know than Republicans back then and today, and Reagan especially, tried to hijack Rand for their cause. And that Ayn Rand despised the Republicans and especially Reagan. Trump and Rand for example would have been natural antagonists.

It is said that the Nobel for medicine this year did not go to the inventors of the BioNTech vaccine, what many observers expected, because of activists lobbying against them for not willing to work unpaid and giving the vaccine for free to the third world.

But I am of the strong opinion that governments should have and must have the competence and strength to say No to lobbyists, and further, that lobbyists should have no access to parliaments and government and party offices in the first, becasue that overruns the principle of "one man, one vote".

Also I am strictly against that people who are totally foreign to a given branch, say defence or health, are no professional defence experts or militaries, no doctors and experienced health practitioners or medical research scientists, can become top boss - minister - for a given branch. They are necessarily dilettantes then who know scrap of nothing and are highly vulnerable to try running a branch by working procedures from a completely different field of work: but one that they happen to know (maybe) - without ever beign able to assess whether these foreign, injected procedures even match with the actual branch's needs and nature.

We have governments made of dilettantes. They are experienced in forming networks to support the actual minister's career, but often on the matter they should supervise, they are clueless. Worse, they may over some years maybe even jump from branch to branch and head several different branches as if they were omnipotent supermen who know and are capable of all and evertyhing and the thing they do not know were practically unimaginable.

We live in the age of dillettantes.

Die Welt writes:

Scientists see the roots of the “Querdenker” movement (=wrong headed thinkers) in Baden-Württemberg in the left-wing alternative milieu. Sociologists from the University of Basel, on behalf of the [SPD-close] Heinrich Böll Foundation, examined the connections to earlier protest movements and the role of certain socio-cultural milieus in the emergence of the movement.

Around 30 percent of the around 1150 respondents said they had voted for the Greens earlier, as Oliver Nachtwey, who is behind the study, explained on Monday in Stuttgart. Nachtwey spoke of a movement from left to right - and of an "alienation process" from the Greens. Many participants in the movement no longer see a home in the party and vote for the AfD.

Have they always been "right"? Maybe they migrated from the left to the right side of the political spectrum, like in the exmaple of former Greens turning to the AfD in Germany. Myself, I once was anti-nuclear, anti-firearms, pro-EU, pro state and pro taxes. Could you believe that?

What happened to me, you maybe ask?

Well, twenty years of being cluster-bombed with examples illustrating to me that I was wrong with my former views and did not realise where I was inconsistent or even self-contradicting in my views - thats what happened to me. :03: Though I never considered myself as "left" (I dispised socialism already at school age), and never as "right" (I see myself mostly as libertarian and believing in freedom and self-responsibility and the golden rule).

A good review on the historical reasons why so many Europeans of German tongue are unvaccinated. But for no money I can get Google to translate it. Try your own luck with entering the link or text, or use your alternative translation source.

There is plenty of traditional vaccination scepticism in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and even after the first mandatory - and quite successful - vaccination in Germany in 1847, against pox, agitation against vaccination remained strong. All countries and even parts of northern Italy speak German, German is the most spoken language in Europe, before English, French, or Spanish. Mutual supportive opinion pieces and conspiration theories thus can spread in Europe faster and cover greater terrain in German than in any other language. Its thus not a random event that vacicnaitoncanmpaigns stalled espoecially in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, at least the Swiss scepticism movement is very strong

What the author ignores is the tradition of the health movement and body cult of the Nazis, and before them the naturlaists (FKK naked bathing and all that...) that I think also must be mentioned. As I always say, Germans are hysterical romanticists, and that includes health, body and food. But okay, you cannot have it all, the article is good enough as it is..

That's quite an interesting "interpretation". Die Welt is certainly not left leaning, and no, they are not parroting anyone. It has always been a moderately conservative newspaper. Over the past years Die Welt has become an echo chamber of right wing talking points, frequently repeating and distributing them, but in a quieter, seemingly more sophisticated way than BILD.

Hardly anyone in the sciences expected the Nobel for medicine go to them, it would have been extremely unusual. A nobel Prize is almost always awarded years or even decades after the invention/discovery it's awarded for has been made public.

In the past 4, 5 years, German mainstream media practically all have conducted the "Ruck!" that politicians demanded, and performed another push into conformnity with the Zeitgeist, which is far left, and special privileges-lobbying ideology like gender-new-speak. Some more, some less, but practially all moved more or less clearly to the left and sought conformity with political correctness and pro-EU and pro-Euro propaganda. Others, like Die Zeit, have a longer transition phase to a more left-leaning self-understanding behind them, may have been centrist int he past, but are no more. And then there are those like the Frnakfurter Rundschau and Süddeutsche Zeitung that always have been very prominently far left-leaning.

Die Welt was conservative in a past longer time ago, but now is centrist-to-left leaning.

In the medicine Nobel, yes, usually the award is given only many years after the achievement. But many expected this example odf the BioNTech exmaple to beocme the exception from the rule, due to the enormous signficance and impact the vaccine has had and sitll has. And in Oslso, rumours also ha dit that the inventors and company owners were fapvurites mfor this year's award. It was reported however that noisy acitiovsts wanted to prevent this at all cost because the vaccine is sold instead of beign freely distributed for "altruistic reasons". The behind-the-curtain lobbying and in parts the public media mobbing was intense. It would not have been a bad idea to give it to them, even more when consdidering the many failures with the fake Nobel for peace (fake because Nobel never has founded this award himself), giving it to people who had accieved nothign sof ar but were expected by the committee to now realise what they demanded the winner to achieve afterwards. Of course, itd absurd.

Me thinks the whole concept and institution by now is corrupted, especially regarding the prizes for economics, peace, and literature. Nobel would turn in his grave, I think.

On a sidenote, the home city of BioNTech is Mainz, and the city had deep red numbers. Then came the success of BioNTech and thus plenty of tax flow flushed into the cities' treasuries. They now are billions and billions in the black numbers. :) All debts are paid, and still billions to invest into turning the city into an international scinetific reserach hotspot, more than it already is. And then still money is left. Not bad for a company that before Corona was practically unknown to almost everybody.

The government has updated its Covid testing guidance in the run-up to Christmas, recommending that people in England take rapid lateral flow tests before going to high-risk settings.

This includes spending time in crowded areas such as busy shopping streets, or when visiting vulnerable people in enclosed spaces.

The latest Covid advice signals a shift from previous guidance to take lateral flow tests twice a week.

Covid booster jabs - initially offered to the over-50s, health and social care staff and people with certain health issues - are extended to the over 40s this week.

The Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid jab may have played a key role in preventing serious illness in the UK, the firm's boss tells the BBC

People in Northern Ireland will be urged to work from home where possible in a bid to curb the spread of Covid, the BBC understands.

Nicola Sturgeon is to announce whether Scotland's vaccine passport system will be expanded to cover more venues.

The UK recorded 44,917 new infections on Monday and 45 deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid test.

In Germany the vaccination of pregnant women is recommended to be done not before beginning of the second trimester. That is for a simple purely psychological reason. Independent from corona, the by far highest amount of aborts hit pregnant women in the first trimester. One wants to avoid that unjustified associations between vaccination and abortion are made: by having them vaccinated not before this critical first trimester is over. The german RKI and Paul Ehrlich institute as well as the German association of gynecologists say a link does practically not exist, and from a purely medical standpoint even in the first trimester pregnant women could get vaccinated, but for the psychological reason explained they usually do not do it.

Also, practically all cases that got reported and examined, found no link between vaccination and abort.
I think it may happen, but the quota appears to be very, very, very small, not exceeding but being far below the quotas of other complications that one would need to expect from every mass vaccination, no matter against what and with what vaccine.

https://spectatorworld.com/topic/wuhan-covid-lab-leak-theory-even-stronger/

.....last month a bunch of emails, uncovered by a lawsuit from the so-called White Coat Waste Project, returned the ball right back over the net. They comprised an exchange between the American virus-hunting foundation, the EcoHealth Alliance and its funders in the US government. The scientists discussed collecting viruses from bats in eight countries including Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos between 2016 and 2019. But to avoid the complication of signing up local subcontractors to their grants in those countries, they promised to send the samples to a laboratory they already funded. And where was this lab? Wuhan.

Some of the emails talk about sending data, not samples; but some talk repeatedly about sending actual samples. “All samples collected would be tested at the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” reads one from 2016. Another in 2018 even talks of sending bats themselves. The emails make it clear that Wuhan scientists would sometimes be working in the field alongside their US colleagues.

Remember the central issue is how a bat virus got to Wuhan. So now, in both Yunnan and Laos, the only people who knowingly transported bat virus samples to Wuhan — and only to Wuhan — were scientists. Gilles Demaneuf, a New Zealand-based data scientist who’s been analyzing this issue, says the natural spillover theory has “no explanation for why this would result in an outbreak in Wuhan of all places, and nowhere else.”

Poland is warning that restrictions could be reintroduced if infection rates don't start to fall.

The 28,380 new infections there in the last 24 hours is a 17% increase from cases reported a week ago.

Temporary hospitals have been reactivated to accommodate a rising number of hospitalisations in the country.

It comes as the World Health Organization says a further 700,000 people could die of Covid by March in Europe and parts of Asia.

Some 1.5 million Covid deaths have already been recorded in the WHO's Europe region of 53 countries.

It warns of "high or extreme stress" in intensive care units in 49 countries by March, as Europe battles surging cases.

The danger of a future UK pandemic is as serious as threats to the UK's defences, an ex-vaccines tsar says.

Dame Kate Bingham says science must be included in policy-making just like economics.

Officials say a drop in Covid testing in India could undermine the country's efforts to control the spread of the virus.

The death toll already exceeds 1.5 million in the 53 countries of what the WHO terms as its Europe region.

The WHO warned of "high or extreme stress" in intensive care units in 49 of the nations by March 2022.

Europe is facing a surge in cases, prompting Austria to return to lockdown and others to consider fresh measures.

A number of countries - including France, Germany and Greece - could also soon make booster jabs a requirement for their citizens to be considered fully vaccinated.

But several countries have seen fierce protests against new measures. The Netherlands saw several nights of rioting over a partial lockdown.

It seems my worries did not come one day too soon. The new variant now apparently spreads across almost a dozen African countries already. Scientists work overhours to assess whether or not existing vaccines offer any form of protection still. I have not read anything on mortality rates so far, too.

A variant to end the rule of vaccines was to be expected, however. I just would have hoped it would not arrive this early. Well, hope is no strategy.

Hongkong has it already, too. In a quarantine hotel.

And btw, I just red something that made me wondering why they still vaccinate with a vaccine against the original Wuhan strain, and have not adapted the vaccine against Delta, which would have been possible meanwhile.

Big whoop, heck we’re still dealing with cases of Spanish Flu variants.

Contrary to popular believe a vaccine cannot prevent infection, it cannot prevent the spread of infection and it cannot eradicate a virus.

A vaccine benefits only the recipient and even that depends on his or her health and age.

Life is filled with risk time to move on.

Now people rush to get the vaccine, which may not have an effect on this new mutated variant.

Over FIFTY SIX THOUSAND sars cov-2 variations been detected and tracked. Unlike measles, polio, chicken pox and others. Flu/COVID viruses drift/shift much more rapidly and need to be reviewed annually.

And yes the Spanish flu did not go away and at the time of its debut there were no vaccines either. Simply put nature took its course and it became less virulent virus. Furthmore the Spanish flu and COVID are not the only pandemics to hit planet earth that killed millions either.

So buck up it’s a dangerous world out there, enjoy it while you can.

When Austria saw a strong pandemic of poxs in 1800, some british doctor has had the idea to vaccinate children in Vienna with low doses of cow pox.

As es result, in that year 5 children died in vienna from pox. Pox from that cow pox vaccine that is.

In the year before that, when tbe vaccination still was not started, in Vienna died over 500 kids.

Factor 100.

A first mandatory vaccination in Germany took place in 1874. The whole population got jabbed and it was a great success, the pandemic was done and over. But anti-vaccers spit poison and fire against the campaign, calling it the biggest crime ever done and bla and bla and blablabla.

Best are those who argue they do not want any artificiyal poisons in their bodies - but smoke, drink, and eat plenty of unhealthy industrially highly processed“ food“. If the lacking jab does not bring them down, their eating habits will. :haha:

Countries around the world are racing to introduce travel bans and restrictions on southern African countries in an effort to contain a new variant of Covid-19, called Omicron.

The moves come after the variant was officially named by health officials.

Early evidence suggests Omicron has an increased re-infection risk, the World Health Organization (WHO) says.

Meanwhile, hundreds of passengers arriving in Amsterdam from South Africa were tested for the new variant.

Some 61 people on two KLM flights tested positive for Covid-19 and have been quarantined at a hotel near the airport while they have further tests, Dutch officials said.

The Netherlands is currently struggling with a record-breaking surge in cases. An extended partial lockdown comes into force there on Sunday evening.

The new Omicron variant was first reported to the World Health Organization from South Africa on 24 November.

It has also been identified in Botswana, Belgium, Hong Kong and Israel.

More suspected cases were reported in Germany and the Czech Republic on Saturday.

An official in the German state of Hesse tweeted (in German) that the variant had most probably arrived in the country after "Omicron-typical mutations" were found in someone returning from South Africa.

Travellers from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini will not be able to enter the UK unless they are UK or Irish nationals, or UK residents.

US officials said flights from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi would be blocked, mirroring earlier moves taken by the EU. They will come into effect on Monday.

Australia announced on Saturday that flights from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, the Seychelles, Malawi, and Mozambique would be suspended for 14 days. Non-Australians who have been in those countries in the past two weeks are now banned from entering Australia
Japan has announced that from Saturday, travellers from much of southern Africa will need to quarantine for 10 days and take a total of four tests during that time
India has ordered more rigorous screening and testing for travellers arriving from South Africa, Botswana and Hong Kong
Iran will ban travellers from six southern African countries, including South Africa. Iranians arriving from the region will be admitted after testing negative twice, state TV says
Brazil also said it was restricting travel to the region from six countries in Africa
Canada is barring all foreign nationals who have travelled through South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini or Mozambique in the last 14 days
Thailand is also banning entry by travellers from eight southern African countries.

The WHO said the number of cases of this variant, initially named B.1.1.529, appeared to be increasing in almost all of South Africa's provinces.

"This variant has a large number of mutations, some of which are concerning," the UN public health body said in a statement.

It said "the first known confirmed B.1.1.529 infection was from a specimen collected on 9 November".

The WHO said it would take a few weeks to understand the impact of the new variant, as scientists worked to determine how transmissible it was.

A top UK health official warned that vaccines would "almost certainly" be less effective against the new variant.

But Professor James Naismith, a structural biologist from the University of Oxford, added: "It is bad news but it's not doomsday."

Months ago they claimed they could adapt their vaccine (BioNTech) withion weeks, and then the time for the rollout. But in reality nobody has even cared to alter it to better target Delta. We still vaccinate with jabs designed to fight the first Wuhan strain. Room for criticism there, I think. I assume they made cost-effect calculations and concluded "No". With Omicron they maybe cannot afford that any longer. But that is just my speculation at this point.

Not a joke: German clinics are now requiring the Covid vaccine in order to get euthanized

If you wish to voluntarily kick the bucket and shuffle off this mortal coil, the Germany's euthanasia association would like you to prepare for the afterlife by getting vaxxed.
.....

Irony has been declared many times in this pandemic but now, from Covid-riddled Germany comes the final proof: you can't kill yourself now unless you've been vaccinated. As European countries battle to limit the spread of the virus, Verein Sterbehilfe – the German Euthanasia Association – has issued a new directive, declaring it will now only help those who have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease. In a statement, the association said:

"Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness. Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms."

'Close encounters in closed rooms' – what a fabulous German euphemism for assisted suicide. The term '2G' meanwhile refers to a system which only allows free movement for leisure activities for the geimpft oder genese— 'vaccinated or recovered.' God forbid that a person without the jab should try to end it all – talk about a vaccine passport to the afterlife...

Southafrican doctors say the new variant seems to cause a milder set of symptoms, mostly severe physical pain in the whole body and extreme exhaustion, but all in all it sees to be less life-threatening for hospitalised patients than earlier strains. however, for older people this variant may be even more lethal if the elder have not only "age", but also cardiovascular deseases and/or diabetes - here Omicron seems to be more lethal than earlier strains.

German hospitals are filling up quickly and the Luftwaffe shuttles patients around across all te nation. Exporting patients to Itlay and othe rneighbouring coutnries become sless and elsse ran option s icne thece places are facing a flolod of patients themslves, in Niorthenr Italy patients again get stockpiled in the corridors again. In many places in Germany, hospitals do not take in patients anymore, hospitals prepare for triage. The full might of the climax of this wave is yet ahead, it lacks behind incidence rates by 2-3 weeks, so the situation as it will be in 2-3 weeks from now on is impossible to prevent.

The vaccination seems to be less potent in preventing infection in the first than it was with Delta, with Delta already being more penetrating than the original strain. However, doctors seem to tend to still see proec tion of significant quality in preventing serious cases. The biggets threat of Omicron seems to be that iut is severla times as infectous than Delta. And that is very bad news with the potential to ruin the next year, too.

Some people seem to not understand that vaccination does not make a difference in the short term, only in the longer term beyond lets say 6 weeks. And some other, superclever say we should not push mandatory vaccination since it will not help in the short term anyway. Well. Sometimes even me is speechless. Where are you in 6 weeks if you did not get the jab today? This question already is too difficult for some to answer.

The vast majority of German population calls for a lockdown, as often it is many weeks ahead of the politicians. The new government on its way in wanted to avoid it at any cost, and even babbled about freedom days. Lets see how quickly or slowly they catch up with reality - if ever. More and more places get locked downby regional govenrments, however. Indicendces are so high and in the four digit range that there is no more alternative.

In other words: Germany again has refused to learn and once again has needlessly messed it up and allowed it to turn for maximum worst outcome. NEEDLESSLY. Stupid, irresponsible, dumb.

The needlessness in it is what angers me most.

SA criticises the world for not sending tourists anymore that could export Omicron into the world, they expect the world apparenbtly to ignore it and not caring for spreading the new variant as quickly as possible.

Thier criticism hgowever has a correct reminder: the longer and the mroe uncontrolled you let a pandemic like this posread aroudn and do not acitvely try to brign it down, the more time and options the virus has to mutate. It is not by chance that both delta and now Imocron showed up first not in one of the most vacicnated coutnriues in the world, buzt two of the most unvaccinated coutnries at the time of Delta's and Omicron's first sighting.

Give the pandemic room and space to unfold, and that is what it will do - including more needless mutations.

Historically, the great pandemics of the past 5000 years on average lasted between 3 and 35 years each. So we still can have lots and lots ahead of us. A few lasted shorter, a few lasted much longer, up to 2-3 generations I seem to recall. It may be so with corna or it may be better with Corona, we will see. But we should be prepared for needing to hold our breath longer than we initially thought. And if that is how things turn out, it will change our world and way of living and our economy more drastically than we expected.

This I know by own experience and from my elderly sister.

I was once so unlucky to get sick from influenza twice in a season and my elderly sister was so unlucky to get very ill, despite she got a vaccine against that season influenza-the problem here was that the virus mutated and therefore her vaccine had no effect on this mutated influenza virus.

But when it comes to Corona and it's family the vaccine protect-even when the virus has mutated several times since the first strain.

A third case of the Omicron coronavirus variant has been detected in the UK, the Health Security Agency has said.

It said the case involves a person who visited the Westminster area of London but who is no longer in the UK.

The individual is linked to travel in southern Africa, where Omicron was first identified.

Meanwhile, year 7 pupils in schools in England are being told they will have to wear face masks in communal areas in response to the new variant.

Early evidence suggests the new variant - first reported to the World Health Organization from South Africa on Wednesday - has a higher re-infection risk.

The first UK cases were confirmed on Saturday in Brentwood, Essex and Nottingham. Officials said the cases were linked and connected to travel in southern Africa and contact tracing is taking place.

Essex County Council is now asking people who were at a church and a KFC outlet in the town to get a PCR test.

The appeal is for members of the congregation who were at Trinity Church in the Pilgrims Hatch area on 21 November - and staff, customers and delivery workers who were at KFC in Brentwood High Street on 19 November between 13:00 and 17:00.

Testing is being carried out at locations that the individual in the third confirmed case visited in London, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said.

Symptoms of the seasonal flu offspring of the Spanish flu

After entering someone's body—usually via the eyes, nose or mouth—the influenza virus begins hijacking human cells in the nose and throat to make copies of itself. The overwhelming viral hoard triggers a strong response from the immune system, which sends battalions of white blood cells, antibodies and inflammatory molecules to eliminate the threat. T cells attack and destroy tissue harboring the virus, particularly in the respiratory tract and lungs where the virus tends to take hold. In most healthy adults this process works, and they recover within days or weeks. But sometimes the immune system's reaction is too strong, destroying so much tissue in the lungs that they can no longer deliver enough oxygen to the blood, resulting in hypoxia and death.
In other cases it is not the flu virus itself that triggers an overwhelming and potentially fatal immune response but rather a secondary infection that takes advantage of a taxed immune system. Typically, bacteria—often a species of Streptococcus or Staphylococcus—infect the lungs. A bacterial infection in the respiratory tract can potentially spread to other parts of the body and the blood, even leading to septic shock: a life-threatening, body-wide, aggressive inflammatory response that damages multiple organs. Based on autopsy studies, Kathleen Sullivan, chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, estimates about one third of people who die from flu-related causes expire because the virus overwhelms the immune system; another third die from the immune response to secondary bacterial infections, usually in the lungs; and the remaining third perish due to the failure of one or more other organs.
Apart from a bacterial pneumonia, the secondary complications of the flu are numerous and range from the relatively mild, such as sinus and ear infections, to the much more severe, such as inflammation of the heart (myocarditis), brain (encephalitis) or muscles (myositis and rhabdomyolysis). They can also include Reye’s syndrome, a mysterious brain illness that usually begins after a viral infection, and Guillain–Barr syndrome, another virus-triggered ailment in which the immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system. Sometimes Guillain–Barr leads to a period of partial or near-total paralysis, which in turn requires mechanical ventilation to keep a sufferer breathing. These complications are less common, but can be fatal.

Sound familiar doesn’t it, unfortunetly it doesn’t make the headlines so we don’t hear about it.

There are things you can do to better humanity. Why don’t you feed the hungry, cloth the naked or shelter the homeless. Those are things you can control instead spending days in endless complaint over what you think everyone else should be doing.

Booster jabs will be offered to all over 18s in the UK in response to the new Omicron variant - 11 cases have been detected.

The gap between second doses and boosters is also being reduced from six to three months.

Severely immunocompromised people will be offered a fourth dose and children aged 12 to 15 will be invited for a second dose.

The Scottish and Welsh governments call for tougher travel restrictions but Downing Street rejects this.

In the US, Covid adviser Anthony Fauci says it's "not the time to panic" but that spread is inevitable.

US President Joe Biden tells Americans: "Don't wait, go get your booster" and urges mask-wearing indoors.

Biden says he does not anticipate any further US travel restrictions or lockdowns at this time.

And the UN chief, Antonio Guterres, says he is deeply concerned about the isolation of southern Africa over Omicron.

Face coverings are mandatory again on public transport and shops in England as part of measures to tackle the Omicron variant.

People arriving in the UK will have to take a PCR test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

UK health security chief Dr Jenny Harries tells public not to socialise at Christmas with people you "don't particularly need to"

But Boris Johnson later clarifies: "We are not changing the guidance on how you should be living your life"

Omicron was in Europe earlier than first believed, it emerges, with cases found in samples taken in the Netherlands.

The variant was present in samples taken between 19 and 23 November - before it was identified in South Africa.

The latest 'omicron' variant seems to mutate 50 times more often than the former delta variant, however patients are said to just become tired, without losing smell or taste, and no real serious symptoms as far as i read. I am not trained in human medicine, so please take this with a grain of salt:

A virus does not live, so you cannot kill it.
It is a kind of hardware "program" bound to replicate itself; to do this a virus uses living cells which usually are being destroyed after the virus has run threw its three stages and becomes "virulent". When the initial immunosystem response is overwhelmed, the viruses will get abundant, infect other cells, mutate, and finally kill the whole organism.

Any immunosystem reacts when its host body's cell surfaces suddenly show a different 'flavour', it is programmed to kill those non-fitting cells by experience, from earlier infections. A basic immunosystem is being provided by the mother's, but it has to be trained to let the young host survive.

If enough of the infected cells are being destroyed by the immunosystem in time, the virus will be there but not longer able to replicate - because as soon as it infects a cell that cell is being destroyed.

When you get a classic vaccine shot with dead cells having been infected by a virus, it shows a certain "flavour", the immunosystem reacts and is thus being trained for the real attack. You get an infection, but not comparable to when you have a hord of living infected cells replicating the virus.

The new mrna "vaccines" train the immunosystem without infecting, the immunosystem is already being trained to find and destroy cells that have that certain feature the mrna vaccine "told" them to destroy.
For a stressed entity with a low-level immunosystem this mrna kind of vaccination is more 'mild' than using a "real" fake infection with dead virus-infected cells.

The covid viruses all cause their hijacked host cells to have a certain "flavour" (proteine surface, docking points), and it does not matter which exact virus variation causes the cell to show the wrong features. The corona viruses are very much alike, so there is hope that a trained immunosystem will attack all cells being infected, and showing those typical infected features.

I don't know whether this makes sense for you, the whole idea is to keep the virus numbers low enough, you will never get rid of it entirely.

^ Thank you Catfish.

It makes sense to me.

However the vaccine was developed to fight the corona virus some mutation back - It was as I know developed to fight the L-strain and not the Delta.

The vaccine did had an effect on the Delta variant.
Now an almost new type of corona has appeared.

I guess as said before the vaccine need to be updated so it can beat the new variant.

mRNA dpoes not use dead virus particles which to dose right for a vaccine is a diffoicult task, but they include a blueprint reader, so to speak, and that blueprint inserted in it is part of the m ap to create a virus. Only a tiny part of it, so that it cannto do damage, but a fraction gets recognised by the immune system as a training dummy against which it then can sparr to train itself. Adapting the mRNA now means that you have not to tear down the complete training hall and build a new one - you only carry out the old training dummy and bring in a newly designed blueprint, and the athletes (the immune system) then build themselves a new sparring dummy - and then the sparring can go on, but does so by slightly different moves, because the dummy is bigger, maybe heavier and maybe has some mechanical tricks the old one did not have.

Vaccines are no fighters, but "military advisors", or boxing trainers. The immune system trains itself. The vaccine only tells it how to do it quicker and more efficient.

Markus
This is universally so, but you can ask why it is this bad here. The l-strain has almost disappeared with only 60 percent or less vaccinations already.
The new variant(s) are able to replicate and mutate because humanity let them. The virus numbers were not kept down effectively enough. There never was much doubt about impact and effect of vaccinations among humanity, until now. Why?

You can argue that herd immunisation works, and.. it would. Not vaccinating any people, no corrections of teeth, liver diseases and so forth will kill all that are "unfit" in the long run, so a few "hardened" humans survive. We have seen how this works if being used politically.
But make no mistake, this will be around 5 percent surviving, of the current world population.
We are too many, but will people support this agenda when it comes to your own family, or friend, or to yourself.

The vaccine gives a blueperint by which the body builds a training dummy to sparr against. The dummy then will be like the blueprint describes it to be, so everything depends on the content of the blueprint the mRNA vaccine. That blueprint is what the "messenger" in "messenger RNA is about.

This new variant was discovered by the chair of the South African Medical Association, a woman called Angelique Coetzee. Here's how she describes the threat: “Looking at the mildness of the symptoms that we are seeing, currently, there's no reason for panicking as we don't see severely ill patients”.

And what is Moderna’s CEO response regarding Omicron?: “This is not going to be good”. Which if you look at from the CEO’s financial point of view it’s certainly not going to be good as nature takes it’s course and cuts into their profit margin.

Meanwhile Europe panics, new laws, closures, isolations, and other nonsense.

And before our resident internet crusaders go off and start fact checking snopes and other politically biased b.s. con jobs

Here is the good doctor explaining in her own words.

It's time for EU member states to consider making Covid vaccinations mandatory, says the European Commission president.

Ursula von der Leyen says: "This needs a common approach, but it is a discussion that I think has to be led"

A total of 22 cases of the new Omicron variant have been confirmed in the UK so far - 13 in England and nine in Scotland.

NHS England is to issue detailed guidance to hospitals, pharmacists and GPs about expanding the Covid booster vaccine rollout.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid is urging people to be "sensible" around Christmas parties and consider taking rapid tests.

British tourists travelling to Spain now require a certificate proving they are fully vaccinated.

In Australia, police have arrested three people who broke out of a Covid quarantine compound in the middle of the night.

The UK government signs deals to buy 114 million more doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to use in 2022 and 2023

The deals were speeded up after the Omicron variant emerged - but talks were already under way.

Pfizer's boss tells the BBC that annual jabs "are likely to be needed" to maintain high levels of protection.

But the WHO points out that many poorer countries have still not been able to vaccinate their most vulnerable.

UK regulators approve new treatment that could reduce hospitalisation and death by 79% in high-risk adults.

Scientists in Cardiff meanwhile find the trigger for very rare blood clots after the Oxford-AZ jab.

On Wednesday, the UK recorded a further 48,374 coronavirus cases and another 171 deaths.

https://www.bbc.com/news/health-59207466
This might explain why the 'first wave' vaccine shots can also help against new corona variants and their successors.
Seems all corona-virus infected cells are being recognized by the human immunosystem T-cells (infected cell surfaces look different for the i.-system), so regardless what is inside the hijacked cells are being destroyed before the virus can multiply.

When will the pandemic end? A doctor has the answer.

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/virus-expert-just-predicted-pandemic-162012729.html

When will the COVID pandemic end? That's the question on the top of everyone's mind—and one doctor just gave a proposed answer. Dr. Ashish Jha, the Dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, appeared on the Pulsar podcast to predict when the pandemic will end.

"The pandemic is going to end when we stop having it sort of dominate our lives the way it does right now," said Dr. Jha. "Now pandemics kind of fade away. They don't really end. The virus is going to still be with us. But it will no longer be much more than a nuisance. And obviously it's hard to predict exactly when I suspect for most of us in the United States, 2022, sometime next year, things really will begin to fade into the background, but it's always hard to paint kind of the exact point when a pandemic has come to an end." He said there may be no definitive end but keep reading to see when you'll know it's basically over.

"In some ways, if you think about it, the 1918 flu pandemic, that's so famous, that virus is still around," said Dr. Jha. "It just doesn't do much harm anymore. It'll be the same thing with this virus. It'll still be around. There's an old saying by a historian, which I love, which is, he said, 'Pandemics end with a whimper, not with a bang.' And that is the way to think about it. At some point, we'll wake up one morning and go, Wow, have you thought about the pandemic and weeks? And that's when it'll be over."

Unfortunately people are still making a good living because of Covid with click baits, dramatic headlines and feigned concerns.

I’d bet big money though as the virus wimpers and wanes the authoritarian mandate nazis will be out in force proclaiming to the world how they stopped it. :har:

An opinion piece by Die Welt:

------------------
The high number of people who are against vaccinations is also a success of green politics. If you keep persuading people that genetic engineering is the devil, you shouldn't be surprised if they mistrust genetic engineering.

At a dinner, a friend told of a supporter of singing bowl therapy who had found a doctor in Brandenburg who provided friends of esotericism with false vaccination cards. Those who come to the practice are asked to free their upper arm. Then the doctor takes a syringe, gets the vaccine, pours it into a bucket, and puts the syringe needle in his arm.

Why he even bothered to take the vaccine out of the refrigerator is not entirely clear. Maybe the little charade is supposed to make the deception more realistic. Or it is intended to protect against punishment in the event of discovery. In any case, the air-vaccinated people leave with a regular vaccination certificate in order to devote themselves to healing again using the sounds of planets and spheres.

In the past few days, the question has been raised on various occasions as to why the vaccination rate is so low in Germany. When it comes to the number of people who oppose the vaccination, the German-speaking countries in Western Europe lead the way. One explanation is based on geography. In countries with mountain regions, the number of thick skulls who distrust the state is higher than in coastal countries.

But is that convincing? Firstly, vaccination models like France and Spain also have decent mountains, as anyone who has ever crossed the Pyrenees or the French Alps knows. And the fact that obedience to state authorities is particularly pronounced in Mediterranean countries can confidently be doubted with a view to tax ethics.
Vaccination quota in Germany: You shouldn't be surprised that so many people distrust genetics

I would have another explanation to offer. We have the lowest vaccination rate because nowhere in Europe is the esoteric environment as large as here. That everything that comes out of the gene laboratory is a health hazard is a belief that is widely accepted in Germany. We even have a ruling party that is committed to the fight against the unnatural.

It's very simple, I would say: If you keep persuading people that genetic engineering is the devil, you shouldn't be surprised if they distrust genetic engineering. This is even more true if you want to give it intramuscularly. Swallowing a pill is bad enough. But can the eerie substance also be injected? For God's sake!

Green technology hostility is the blind spot in the vaccination debate. It is neglected, but the fight against genetic engineering is at least as identity-creating for the ecological movement as the fight against nuclear power. It is just a lot easier to be outraged about the anti-vaccine in the Erzgebirge, who ramble about human genetic experiments, than about the green fan with the VHS diploma in gemology who swears by globules against corona.
In this world, even wearing a mask damages spirituality

I have been following the science author Ludger Weß on Twitter for a long time. Weß worked as a molecular biologist before joining journalism via Greenpeace. If there is any authority on the overtones and undertones of green hocus-pocus, it is it.

At Weß you are reminded that it was not so long ago that the state of North Rhine-Westphalia declared itself a “GMO-free region” under red-green leadership. Or that the green environment minister from Rhineland-Palatinate commented on BASF's decision to relocate its genetic engineering research abroad by saying that the withdrawal from Germany proves “the lack of success of genetic engineering products”. Genetic engineering is simply not a technology of the future. That didn’t stop her successor from jostling among the first to congratulate when it came to celebrating the development of the miracle vaccine from Biontech’s genetic laboratory in Mainz.

It is well known that the roots of the green movement reach deep into the esoteric scene. The sociologists Oliver Nachtwey and Nadine Frei from the University of Basel have just worked out in a study the overlaps between the left-wing alternative anthroposophical milieu and the lateral thinker movement. When a Waldorf school in Freiburg was noticed as a corona hotspot three weeks ago, a check showed that many parents had obtained fake mask certificates because in this world even wearing a mask damages spirituality.

Every party has a fool's edge, it can be argued, that with the Greens is a little bigger. Unfortunately, you and you with the hocus-pocus don't stop at the top staff.
Renate Künast arm in arm with an activist who suspects the origin of Corona in GM soy

Let's take Renate Künast. Ms. Künast headed the consumer ministry for four years, then applied for the office of mayor in Berlin. One would think that someone like that would be immune to snobbery. But if you leaf through her social media accounts, one comes across pictures that show her arm in arm with the Indian anti-genetic engineering activist Vandana Shiva, a woman who believes she has learned from a reliable source that the origin of the new one Coronaviruses are found in GM soy. The place of origin is not the animal market in Wuhan or the bat laboratory: No, the feeding of genetically modified plants to cows is the refuge of evil!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nephew of the murdered American president, is also a popular guest at green events. Kennedy is not only a welcome key witness against glyphosate, another plague from the genetic laboratory, he is, you guessed it, also a staunch enemy of vaccination.

While researching, I found the following quote, it is easy for any Green to google: “You get the injection, you have a temperature of 39 degrees at night, you go to sleep, and three months later your brain is gone. This is a Holocaust what they are doing to our country.” Less than a holocaust does not get a Robert F. Kennedy even started.

Do you need more examples? At the beginning of May, the Environment Committee of the European Parliament held an expert hearing on the approval of genetically modified plants. At the initiative of the Greens, the first expert was a professor who is active in two associations that have been committed to the fight against genetic engineering as well as the fight against corona vaccination since the beginning of the pandemic.

One club, an association called Criigen, caused a sensation in France with an opinion in which the claim was made that the mRNA vaccines used in the pandemic could turn into new viruses if the person vaccinated was already infected with other viruses recombine and thereby cause cancer. The other association, a think tank called Ensser, has set itself the goal of questioning the “official theories” about Covid-19 and the protective effect of vaccines “critically”.

Fears can also be assigned geographically. Asians are plagued by the fear of infection. Even before Corona, Japanese tourists were noticed wearing face masks on city tours, as if they had just left an intensive care unit. In German-speaking countries we are afraid of invisible toxins that lurk in food and of course everything that is associated with radiation, which is why the introduction of a microwave has long been a controversial topic in good left-wing households. The fear of the genetically modified substance combines the two motives of mutation and poisoning.

So far I've always made fun of genetic fear. But when the cream cheese advertises that it is guaranteed to be “free of genetic engineering”, then you know that the matter has left the globulist scene and has reached the mainstream.

It's actually astonishing that 71 percent of Germans have had themselves vaccinated. Are you not worried at all?

------------------------------------

You reap what you have sowed in the last 50 years of far-left leaning and anti-rational education and journalism. As I always said and still say: the Germans are hysterical romanticists.

Some good and some not so good news form the german Max Planck Institute.

A new study shows that you can infect yourself by aerosols of an infected in short time and at distances of even 3m.Well, I always never beleived that those propagated 1.5m do the trick, it just does not make sense.

But then, well-fitting FFP2 masks can push the risk into the low per-mill-range of probabilies.

They also say that FFP2 masks protect up to 75 times better than those thin surgical masks. Why am I not surprised (and do not use the latter)...?

Even three meters away does not protect. Even at this distance, it takes less than five minutes for an unvaccinated person standing in the breath of a corona-infected person to become infected with almost 100 percent certainty. This is the bad news. The good thing is: if both are wearing well-fitting medical or even better FFP2 masks, the risk drops dramatically. In a comprehensive study, a team from the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen investigated how well which masks protect and when they are worn. The researchers determined the maximum risk of infection for numerous situations and took into account a number of factors that have not previously been included in similar studies.

The Göttingen team was also surprised at how great the risk of infection with the coronavirus is. "We would not have thought that at a distance of several meters it would go so quickly until you absorb the infectious dose from the breath of a virus carrier," says Eberhard Bodenschatz, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization. Because at this distance the air you breathe has already spread conically in the room; the infectious particles are diluted accordingly. The particularly large and therefore particularly virus-rich particles also fall to the ground after a short distance through the air. “Nevertheless, in our study we found an enormous risk of infection even at a distance of three meters if you meet infected people with a high viral load, as occurs with the predominant delta variant of the Sars-CoV-2 virus, for a few minutes and doesn't wear a mask, ”says Eberhard Bodenschatz. And such encounters are unavoidable in schools, restaurants, clubs or even outdoors.
Well-fitting FFP2 masks reduce the risk to at least the per mil range

As high as the risk of infection is without a mouth and nose protection, medical or FFP2 masks are effective. The Göttingen study confirms that FFP2 or KN95 masks are particularly effective at filtering infectious particles from the air we breathe - especially when they close as tightly as possible at the edges. If both the infected and the non-infected person wear well-fitting FFP2 masks, the maximum risk of infection after 20 minutes is barely more than one per thousand, even at the shortest possible distance. If their masks are badly fitted, the likelihood of infection increases to around four percent. If both of them wear well-fitted surgical masks, the virus will be transmitted within 20 minutes with a maximum of ten percent probability. The investigation also confirms the intuitive assumption that for effective protection against infection, the infected person in particular should wear a mask that filters as well as possible and tightly fits.

The contagion probabilities determined by the Max Planck team each indicate the upper limit of the risk. "In everyday life, the actual probability of infection is certainly 10 to 100 times smaller," says Eberhard Bodenschatz. Because the air that flows out of the mask at the edges is diluted so that you do not get all of the unfiltered air you breathe. We accepted that, however, because we cannot measure how much breathing air someone wearing a mask reaches another person in all situations, and because we wanted to calculate the risk as conservatively as possible, ”explains Bodenschatz. "If even the greatest theoretical risk is small under these conditions, you are on the safe side under real conditions." For the comparison value without the protection of a mask, however, the safety buffer is significantly smaller. “For such a situation, we can determine the virus dose that an unprotected person inhales with fewer assumptions,” says Gholamhossein Bagheri, who as a research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization played a key role in the current study.

When calculating the risk of infection, the Göttingen team took into account a number of factors that have not yet been included in comparable estimates. The researchers have investigated how a bad fit of the mask weakens the protection and how this can be prevented. "The membranes of FFP2 or KN95 masks, but also of some medical masks, filter extremely effectively," says Gholamhossein Bagheri. "The risk of infection is then dominated by the air that flows in and out at the edges of the mask." This occurs when the edge of the mask is not close to the face. In extensive tests, Bagheri, Bodenschatz and their team measured the size and quantity of breathing particles flowing past the edges of masks that fit differently. "A mask can be perfectly adapted to the shape of the face if you bend its metal bracket into a rounded W before putting it on," says Eberhard Bodenschatz. "Then the contagious aerosol particles can no longer get past the mask and glasses no longer fog up."

The team also considered that droplets that people spread when they breathe or speak dry out in the air and become lighter. As a result, they stay in the air longer, but have a higher virus concentration compared to the droplets immediately after they emerged. When you breathe in, the opposite happens: the particles absorb water again, grow like a drop in a cloud and therefore more easily get stuck in the airways.

Even if the detailed analysis by the Max Planck researchers in Göttingen shows that tightly fitting FFP2 masks protect 75 times better than well-fitting surgical masks and that the way a mask is worn makes a clear difference: even medical masks significantly reduce the risk of infection Compared to a situation without any mouth and nose protection. "That is why it is so important that people in the pandemic wear a mask," says Gholamhossein Bagheri. And Eberhard Bodenschatz adds: "Our results show once again that wearing a mask in schools and in general is a good idea."

Fast investigation is justified, obviously, but there are some dubious details around this all. I am listening on, but for the time being am not yet convinced of anything pro or con. 2kn, towed array deployed, listening on. If there will ever be a final full paper, we may know more. The violations of nomenclatura in the abstract irritates me as it irritates Dr. Campbell.

In the past 18 months I was busy with investigating nutrion supplements, and I learned there to be sceptical a bit about Doctors who raise health statements and at the same time are involved in own-profit-raising businesses that sell stuff to people. There inevitably then is a conflict of interest. And this Dr. Gundry not just sells somehtign to boost financial support for a beneficial foundation or anything, but he owns the shop. This is something that always has me on my guard.

Indeed that is the decisive criterion. Vaccines all have side effects that affect a certain quantity of the vaccinated population, and usually it is a very very small fraction. The question always is whether the vaccine does more damage than it prevents, or does more prevention than it causes sideffect damages.

Time will tell.

And time to just sit and wait was what we did not have back then when the bug crawled up our streets the first time. We had to react, and quickly.

That big pharma sees a chance to make big cash is nothing new, and so far even before Corona it has not stopped anyone anywhere in the world, especially the US with its hilariously if not even criminally and artificially and intentionally pushed high costs, to try to stop it. In fact companies are allowed to make people sick and make them die early only to sell expensive drugs and pushing profits. Profits that then are needed for being invested into research on new antibiotics, for exmaple. New therapies. Its a perverse system that by design has a very awful inherent flaw, cause it focusses on having people ill, not on having people being healthy and staying healthy. Prevention ruins the business. Healthy people are not customers that pay for pharmaceutical products. You want to support a major branch of your country's economy? Be ill!

It shouldnt be called "health system", but "desease system". Its perverse.

It's also important that we don't stare us blind on statistic.

0.0005 %(percentage of Danes who have died within 30 days after got the first jab)This doesn't sound like a disaster - Now we take a look at the numbers, around 2100 Danes, it suddenly got a face(so to say)
Each of these life lost is a disaster for their love ones. But and this is important how many more would have died or suffered severe side effect from Corona if they didn't get the jabs.

As you have mentioned it's a balance

Not everyone at the hospital is an unvaccinated.

Here is page where you can se how many unvaccinated, first shot and fully vaccinated

The page is in Danish, Hope you can translate it into your language.

https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/aa41b29149f24e20a4007a0c4e13db1d/page/page_5/

Per 100000 an average of 25(total 139 Danes)unvaccinated was in the hospital.
Per 100000 an average of 8.7(total 12 Danes)after first jab, was in the hospital.
Per 100000 an average of 6.4(total 284 Danes)Fully vaccinated, was in the hospital.

So you see there's more fully vaccinated in hospital than unvaccinated.

Why how could this be-It should have been the other way around.

You are very much right in your statement. Something went wrong in the translation.

So I toke a look at it and I did not post wrong

Indlagte: Status pr. 100.000(in hospital: Status per 100000)
Forventet fuld effekt (Expected fully vaccinated)
6,4
(Antal: 284)

I think the column in the middle upper is more correct.
Light blue=Unvaccinated
Blue= first jab.
Dark Blue = fully vaccinated.

Edit.
I can't calculate where it is wrong-Yes even fully vaccinated get infected and get hospitalized but that there should be more of them there than unvaccinated-No

Omicron could become the UK's dominant variant within weeks, says infectious diseases expert Prof Paul Hunter.

He estimates it's likely that there are already more than than 1,000 cases - four times more than officially confirmed.

The return of pre-departure Covid tests for travellers to the UK will come into force on Tuesday.

And Nigeria is now on the UK's red travel list - arrivals from the country will now have to spend 10 days in hotel quarantine.

There has been some criticism that these changes have come too late, but Boris Johnson says the UK acted very quickly on Omicron.

And the UK government says it is doubling the number of hotel rooms for travel quarantine to cope with demand.

South Africa is preparing its hospitals for more admissions amid a fourth wave driven by the new variant, its president says.

Separately, people can now show evidence of a negative Covid test to get into clubs, concerts or large events in Scotland.

Conclusion Population-level evidence suggests that the Omicron variant is associated with substantial ability to evade immunity from prior infection. In contrast, there is no population-wide epidemiological evidence of immune escape associated with the Beta or Delta variants. This finding has important implications for public health planning, particularly in countries like South Africa with high rates of immunity from prior infection. Urgent questions remain regarding whether Omicron is also able to evade vaccine-induced immunity and the potential implications of reduced immunity to infection on protection against severe disease and death.

Early indications suggest the Omicron variant of coronavirus is "more transmissible" than Delta, Downing Street says.

But much remains unknown and the government is not looking at introducing its Plan B level of restrictions, a spokesman tells reporters.

Scientists are yet to draw firm conclusions but are continuing to analyse samples of the virus and real-world data.

People travelling to the UK must now take a Covid test before their journey as well as a PCR test upon their return.

There are currently 336 confirmed cases of the highly-mutated Omicron variant in the UK

Experts believe it could overtake Delta to become the dominant variant.

In Germany, health insurrance can andm iust pay for homepathy. I red some days aago that in America homeopathic "globuli" need to have wanrigns ont he packs that these are no effective medicla drugs for any treatment, like shocking warnings on cigarette boxes. Is that true? If so, it illustrates how twisted the Germans are.

I expect that comparable factors explain the US-American anti vaccer scene and its unshaken strong support for a maniac like Trumpy-the-Zomby.

Rational arguments acchieve nothing with these people, thera and here alike. Every rational argument they cannot counter, to them is evidence how hostile the state/the others are towards them. Antroposophists and right-leaning mysticists are unshakable in their belief that they have inherited secret superior knowledge that only them and nobody else has and that is given to them to make them the rulersof the world. I believed so when I heard of the magical coffe grinder in the tale of Der Räuber Hotzenplotz. I WAS FIVE YEAR THEN. What is their excuse...? Many of these people simply are loosers who have been left behind by life and job and society and now compensate the feeling of their inferiority with megalomaniac fantasies of how special they are to be part of a secret knowledge society. The Greens over here root very basically on these social grounds.

Governments should stop wanting to motivate them for voluntary change, the core of these groups will never do that. Simply sanction the last stroke of breath out of them until they have no other choice than to do their share, with talking and wanting to convince them nothing can be acchieved anymore. Sometimes superior force is the only remaining option left to solve conflict and crisis. Let them get fired from their jobs and let them being refused for social wellfare. And see how fast many of them must and will change their minds, we have seen it in France, Italy... It does not matter anymore whether they like it and what they think of it. Not after four waves, billions and billions of costs, endless drama in hospitals, and the vast majority being taken hostage by this brutally egoist minority gang.

Roughlyy one and a half year after the vacicnes became available, time is out. Patience is out. Enough is enough. I for myself have the nose stinking full of them messing up my life with their rotten brain nonsense. I would even personally agree to knock them out with a fist punch to jab them, that much done I am with them. :arrgh!:  Enough is enough.

FOCUS writes:

------------------
The Frankfurt virologist Sandra Ciesek has now announced the first results of laboratory tests. They confirm the fears regarding vaccination. Ciesek reported via Twitter on Wednesday that, according to their investigation, Omikron canceled the effect of the antibodies provoked by the vaccines compared to the Delta variant, which is currently dominant in Germany. Anyone who has been cross-vaccinated twice with Biontech, twice with Moderna or with Astrazeneca and Biontech will therefore no longer have any immune protection from the antibodies against the new variant after six months. “O percent neutralization” is the sobering result from Ciesek. There is then no longer any protection against infection with Corona. The data from Ciesek have not yet been reviewed by specialist colleagues and have not been published in a specialist magazine. Anyone who has been vaccinated twice with Biontech and has also received a booster vaccination is better protected against the new variant. According to Ciesek, the booster neutralizes at least 25 percent of Omikron three months after the vaccination. At Delta, on the other hand, the booster neutralizes the coronavirus by 95 percent.

According to Ciesek, this means: The protection provided by the booster against Omikron decreases by a factor of 37 compared to Delta. It is unclear how well the vaccination protects against severe Omicron courses "The data confirm that the development of a vaccine adapted to Omicron makes sense," continues Ciesek. However, the data she has now published could not say anything about whether the vaccination continues to protect against a severe course. The reason: It is not only the antibodies examined that are relevant, but also other parts of the immune system such as the so-called T cells. In addition, the results that have now been published are based on so-called neutralization tests. It looks at how many antibodies a vaccinated person has in the blood that can reach the virus variant and thus switch it off. The actual protection of vaccinated persons cannot be determined in this way. This requires clinical studies with thousands of test subjects or evaluations of the ongoing infection process.

Drosten: "Doesn't look good for people who have been vaccinated twice" Nevertheless, Christian Drosten also expressed concern about the new data via Twitter. "Now we have three groups with approximately 40-fold loss of serum neutralization activity in fully immunized individuals," he wrote. "Doesn't look good for a double vaccine," he concluded. A third dose is necessary. In a second tweet, Drosten made it clear again that a neutralization activity does not mean that the vaccination is 40 times less protective. "The real loss of immunity is much lower," explains Drosten. At the moment, therefore, triple vaccination is the best protection. Hence his urgent recommendation: "Don't wait, but boost."

Existing vaccines should still protect people who contract the Omicron variant from severe Covid cases, a World Health Organization (WHO) official says.

It comes as the first lab tests of the new variant in South Africa suggest it can partially evade the Pfizer jab.

Researchers say there was a "very large drop" in how well the vaccine's antibodies neutralised the new strain.

But the WHO's Dr Mike Ryan said there was no sign Omicron would be better at evading vaccines than other variants.

"We have highly effective vaccines that have proved effective against all the variants so far, in terms of severe disease and hospitalisation, and there's no reason to expect that it wouldn't be so" for Omicron, Dr Ryan, the WHO's emergencies director, told AFP news agency.

He said initial data suggested Omicron did not make people sicker than the Delta and other strains. "If anything, the direction is towards less severity," he said.

Nobody I know is waving flags and playing national anthems. But that’s exactly what happened when some governments raised their flag and changed into full blown nationalist authoritarian states and started closing borders, refusing foreign visitors and issuing mandates and government vaccine passports.

BioNTech/Pfizer say they could bring out their new and adapted vaccine in or at the end of March, but that nobody should wait to booster with the so far existing vaccines.

No doubt that this pandemic is a spilling coin dwell for producers of these vaccines, and will remain to be that for years to come. In cas eofd BioNTech this means they could heaily invest in developing their vaccine on mRNA basis against Malaria and Cancer-triggering factors. Pfizer and BioNTech have said a booster jab of their coronavirus vaccine promises to be an effective defence against the new Omicron variant.

Three doses provide a similar level of antibodies against Omicron to that of two doses with other variants, the companies said after a small study.

Medical advise !?
Is giving advise about vitamin and elements the same as medical advise.

I thought advising about certain pills against some disease/sickness was medical advise.

The other thing is what your local pharmacies advise you to take to strengthen your body defense.

You could ask if him if he's a pharmacist

Yeah, same in Germany, in the past 12 months or so, around 9000 nurses or even more have quit, being absued by poltics as cannon fodder, bei8ng chepaly apllauded, beign exhausted and burnt out, but no adressing of the basic bad circim, stances for nurses in hispitals: too few, to badly paid, and a general system that promotes the slidjgn for the bad side oif thigns and preventing any bettering.

These nurses, quite many of them left due to rage-quits, are now missing, and that is why many ICU beds had to be shut down over here. The hardware is not enough, you specialised nurses capable to operate it and working in ICUs.

I would have rage-quit, too. And i will not attack or cirtiice any nurse or doctor doing so. They have all reasons in the world to leave. And jujst for the record, many of those who went away said that by heart and soul they were nurses with passion and conviction. But politics betrays them, since many, many years.

Good explanation of how viruses change and why vaccination is still the best:

https://hub.jhu.edu/2021/07/19/andrew-pekosz-delta-variants/

In short:
"Say, for example, it's a one in a million chance that a mutation will be advantageous to the virus.

If you let the virus replicate itself 900,000 times, odds are that the advantageous mutation will occur," [...]

"But if you limit the overall replication of the virus to 1,000 times, then it's much less likely that the random advantageous mutation is going to occur.

And that's where public health interventions really help us a lot during this pandemic—by reducing the total amount of virus replication and therefore reducing the chances that the virus can improve or adapt."

It is about keeping the overall numbers of the virus down, at the same time preventing its reproduction an mutation. Which we did with smallpox as with Polio.

More Blue anon conspiracy theory and the Covidian Cult rubbish that thinks small pox and polio can be compared to a sars-cov virus. FYI they can’t, try again and stop comparing the Covid-19 vaccine with the Polio vaccine, we can’t place them in the same category for a simple reason the Covid-19 vaccine is only effective at reducing the transmission and spread of the disease, not eliminating it.

People who’ve received a Covid-19 vaccine can still pass on the infection to others. The Covidian Cult alway fail to make that distinction.

While it’s true that the widespread vaccination rates contributed to the eradication of Polio disease, the effectiveness of the Polio vaccine itself had played a key role in eradicating Polio globally. Polio vaccine provides lifelong immunity whereas the Covid-19 vaccine gives only several months of protection.

A German emergency doctor in FOCUS magazine:

------------------
The corona situation in Germany is critical. This is particularly noticeable and visible in the clinics and intensive care units. An emergency doctor now reports in drastic words about extreme situations in the intensive care unit - his desperation clearly resonates.

It is words that move. Because it becomes clear how much the current corona situation is burdening the medical staff and how much they feel abandoned. An emergency doctor who wants to remain anonymous now shared an insight into his work in the intensive care unit on Twitter.

"Conditions are getting worse and worse. Everything just breaks down. People die here who shouldn't have died," he writes. "Because everyone is overwhelmed or overworked or poorly trained or everything together. Because there is a lack of staff, because 70-80h / week is way too much."

Then he gives examples that underpin the staff shortage in a dramatic way:

"There is no mobilization because there are no physios (deep vein thrombosis> pulmonary embolism). Medicines are provided by interns because no one else is there (confusion> overdosage of painkillers> resuscitation light, just discovered)," he writes drastically Words.

Or: "A patient in the intensive care unit complains of shortness of breath, is given inhalations, oxygen is turned on, is only reported to me when he is almost in need of resuscitation. The assistant from the normal ward did not recognize the incorrect position of a catheter."

The list goes "on and on and on".

He criticizes: "The training is getting worse and worse, the qualifications are crumbling. Devices break and are either not repaired at all or only temporarily." Anyone who works in the health system can confirm that. In fact, over a thousand Twitter users have already confirmed this explicit post with a heart.

The emergency doctor demands better working conditions for the medical staff - with better salaries for everyone, more time for the patients, good training and more staff.

What happens if nothing changes in the current state? He also describes this with drastic words: "Or we carry on like this - but then get used to living with the consequences. With dead relatives who could still be alive. With long-term damage from late or incorrect treatment. We are not to blame , we ourselves are victims of this system. "

Incidentally, the emergency doctor also emphasizes: "It would be a mistake to believe that everything would be fine without Corona." Corona is only part of the problem, a fire accelerator. "It's been burning for a long time, and now it's burning a little more and faster."

-----------------------

According to the union VERDI, there are between 120 and 200 thousand licensed and trained nurses who do not work and have left the job early in Germany. And some days ago I red that when being askedk, the majority of these reserves said that in principle they would be willing to come back and that they loved their job - but that thzey will never go back into this bad system and into working conditions as bad and underpaid and with such hilarious weekly working hours. As the doctor in the above article said: thigns were burning ablaze already before Corona, with corona they just burn brighter and faster. I red in the apst days that this year alone a known minimum of around ten thposuand nurses have rage-quit their jobs, exhausted and burnt out. Insiders say the numbewrsa are "corrected", and that the real loss of staff could be up to four times as high. Hospitals and politicians just fear the bad image and reputation it would cause if the real numbers get known.

With such a personnel drain, the system must break down sooner or later while beign constantly eroded right now day for day, this cannot be maintained endlessly, not even with - less qualified - nurse imports from Vietnam and Indonensia. Several thousand ICU beds had to be closed due to missing staff.

Corona is just a catalysator that accelerated the revelation of the obvious: that the system does not function sustainably.

Among the corona intensive care patients are by no means only unvaccinated. Instead, the number of vaccinated Covid patients with severe courses continues to increase. They are what are known as “vaccination breakthroughs”.

The RKI records a corona case as a "probable vaccination breakthrough" if a Sars-CoV-2 infection with clinical symptoms was diagnosed in a fully vaccinated person using a PCR test or pathogen isolation.

According to the RKI report on Thursday, there have been a total of 362,130 vaccination breakthroughs in 57.7 million people since the beginning of the year. This corresponds to 0.6 percent of the total of those vaccinated.

They had a completed series of vaccinations

246.735 with Comirnaty (Biontech / Pfizer)
37,616 with Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
28,933 with Vaxzevria (Astrazeneca)
19.160 with Spikevax (Moderna)
18.147 with a combination Vaxzevria / Comirnaty and
3318 with a combination Vaxzevria / Spikevax.

According to the RKI, in the case of a further 8821 vaccination breakthroughs, no assignment to the above-mentioned vaccines was made on the basis of the information available. Important: These numbers do not mean that the risk of a breakthrough is highest with a Biontech vaccination - only most people in Germany are vaccinated with Biontech.

According to the RKI, however, it is “to be expected” that the number of vaccination breakthroughs will increase over time. Because: “Since more and more people are generally vaccinated and Sars-CoV-2 is currently spreading again more and more. This increases the likelihood of coming into contact with the virus as a fully vaccinated person. "

However, by no means all of these breakthrough vaccinations need to be treated in intensive care units. According to the report, the breakthroughs are distributed very differently depending on the age group in the last documented calendar weeks 44 to 48.

Fully vaccinated among the symptomatic Covid sufferers were during this period

8.3 percent of 12 to 17 year olds (3,078 of 37,193 cases)
50.6 percent of 18 to 59 year olds (123,240 of 243,648 cases) and
70.6 percent of people over 60 (42,085 of 59,956 cases).

The proportion of fully vaccinated patients in hospitalized symptomatic Covid cases looks like this:

12 percent of 12 to 17 year olds (23 out of 191 cases)
30.2 percent of 18 to 59 year olds (1332 of 4414 cases) and
52.3 percent of people over the age of 60 (3557 of 6805 cases)

Completely vaccinated were among those Covid sufferers treated in intensive care during this period, however

0 percent of 12 to 17 year olds (0 out of 6 cases)
16.8 percent of 18 to 59 year olds (105 of 626 cases) and
41.1 percent of those over 60 (480 of 1168 cases).

The numbers show two things. On the one hand, the unvaccinated, although they make up “only” 30.6 percent of the total population (and that includes small children), are disproportionately represented in hospitalization and, above all, in intensive care units. On the other hand, the elderly, who were often vaccinated at the beginning of the year, are slowly showing the consequences of declining vaccination protection.

According to the current RKI data, 11,410 corona patients were treated in the hospital in these five weeks, 1,800 of them in the intensive care units. On the other hand, 6498 patients were unvaccinated among the hospitalized corona cases, 1215 of them were treated in intensive care.

The number of vaccination breakthroughs does not in any way deny the vaccinations their usefulness. Rather, it illustrates how strongly the virus can spread in a society in which around 25 million are still unvaccinated.

No vaccine (regardless of the disease/illness) provides immunity. None whatsoever.

Vaccines provide protection, but never immunity. Protection always means a reduced risk of getting a disease as well as a reduction of severety, but still no perfect immunity.

In some cases this protection stays in place for a long term, but a refresher is still needed every now and then, unless there are external reasons (like living in a very-low-risk area).

------------------------
Virologist Christian Drosten [a leading voice among Germany's virologists, Skybird] was a guest on the ARD “Tagesthemen” on Thursday evening. He spoke to moderator Ingo Zamperoni about the new Omikron variant and its effects. Drosten emphasized that Omikron could be particularly dangerous for the unvaccinated. That is why, in addition to the fast booster, it is so important that all unprotected people "sit down" again to think again.

At the end of the interview, Zamperoni asked him whether we should expect more mutants and when Corona would finally become a normal cold.

Drosten explains: “Yes, that is an important question that you are asking. Mainly because there are now people again who say, 'It never ends anyway. Once you're on the train, you can't get down there ‘. This is really nonsense. We are on our way to an endemic state. So this virus will become a normal cold virus. "

This occurs especially in kindergarten, the adults would get infected from time to time and the older ones would have to make sure that they protect themselves with vaccinations in winter.

Drosten says he cannot promise that this will be the case as early as next year. But populations like in South Africa that are already fully immunized would soon come into this state.

The virologist continues: “I don't know whether already with Omikron or whether with a next variant. But that will stop. We will come to a state where we only refresh towards winter and probably not the whole population. It may be that we will have to replenish the whole population with a new vaccine in the winter next year. This is fortune telling, which we are slowly doing here, but I think what is not fortune telling is that it will stop - anytime soon. Next year, the year after next, maybe in three years. But then it's over. "

---------------------------

And in essence this is what science and virologists say since quite some time now, since somewhere in the middle of last year. No real surprises in there.

According to the definition of immunity provided by our U.S. Center for Disease Control and Merriam-Webster dictionary they most certainly do provide an immunity.

Let's see then:

Merriam-Webster about immunity: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immunity

Merriam-Webster about vaccines: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/vaccine

CDC about immunity: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/immunity-types.htm

Immunity stems from the latin word "immunis" - excempt. Immunity in its basic, original sense means "you cannot be harmed at all". That's never the case with vaccines, never was, never will be. In the watered-down version immunity means "a certain resistance/protection". That's something vaccines offer, to a varying degree depending on the disease and the vaccine.

A vaccine never offers lifelong, complete immunity. A vaccination never guarantees that the vaccinated person will never get the disease the vaccine is against.
Vaccines prepare the immune system to deal with an infection so that it can react quickly once the virus shows up, which in turn means that the virus can ideally be dealt with long before the infection has serious consequences. But this protection is not perfect, because everyone's immune system reacts differently, because some viruses can cause damage before the immune systems reaction kicks in or for a number of other reasons.
Also the protection is reduced over time. The immune system stores virus information in special cells, and over time these cells die off. In some cases (some children's diseases like chickenpox) the immune system produces so many cells with the virus information that some of them will be around till the end of your life, which means that the immune system will have a way to quickly react at any point in your life. Whenever you are reinfected with chickenpox, your body will quickly react to it - but you still can be infected.

Yet the numbers have not gone down. From what I see covid vaccines have not shown much effectiveness at all at either stopping the spread or lowering the death rate They certainly cannot be compared to an actually effective vaccine like the one for Smallpox for example.

How many booster shots do we need of that to prevent subsequent infection? None because that is a real vaccine, not this fake government sponsored crap they are trying to force down everyones throats.

That would be a worrying number if the vaccination rate was at 50%, which it isn't. It is much higher, so the total number of vaccinated people vastly surpasses the number of unvaccinated people.
Taking everything into account it's about eight to nine times as likely for an unvaccinated person to end up in ITS compared to a vaccinated person. Things will get even worse for the unvaccinated if you split the cases into different age groups. While it's about a one to four ratio for people older than 80 it's already a one to ten ratio for people aged 60-70 and a one to 20 ratio for people aged 45-50. Below that age overall ITS numbers get too small to make definite conclusions, but there's a clear indication that the numbers are not going down.
And again: breakthroughs are to be expected. Vaccines aren't an impenetrable defense, and nobody who understands how vaccines work would claim they were.

A Danish newspaper Politiken made an investigation and found that it in fact was the other way around 2/3 af people in the hospital was people who either have received first, second or third jab.

Furthermore they discovered that a majority of those who got their second jab had been given this more than 5-6 month ago. Which indicate clearly that the vaccine is only effective some month after and with this new Omicron the vaccine isn't that effective.

This Omicron is spreading wildly here in Denmark.

One of the places where this spreading happens is in the queue where people with symptoms or no symptoms stand less than 2 meters apart. Even with facemask the spreading of Corona and Omicron happens in these queue.

Second place is in our stores.
Third at the hospital.

Off that I'm convinced.

Si tacuisses, philosophus manisses.

For those who haven't gone full hillbilly and are still willing to listen and understand:

Vaccination rate for Germans aged 60 and above: 86.9%
ITS-Rate for Germans aged 60 and above: 41.1% (and not 43%)

(Both numbers taken from the RKI, thanks to Skybird for the links).

To calculate the statistical likelyhood you simply have to divide the ratio of vaccinated/unvaccinated people on ITS (41.1/58.9) by the ratio of vaccinated people to unvaccinated in the ntire population (86.9/13.1)
This equals 0.1052, which means that -taking the vaccination rate into account- for every unvaccinated person there are 0.1052 vaccinated people on ITS. If you want the value based on one vaccinated person you calculate 1/0.1052 = 9.5065. This means that it's about 9.5 times as likely to end on ITS as an unvaccinated person (60 years and above) compared to a vaccinated person (same age group).

That's for the entire group aged 60+, as I have said before the ratio is more like 1:4 for people 80+ and 1:10 (or even more) for people 60-69.

And again: breakthroughs are to be expected. Vaccines aren't an impenetrable defense, and nobody who understands how vaccines work would claim they were.

Yeah well some vaccines are more impenetrable than others (ever hear of a Smallpox breakthrough infection?) and these covid vaccines are definitely on the extreme low end of the effectiveness scale.

The UK's coronavirus alert level has been raised to level four due to the spread of Omicron, the UK's chief medical officers have said.

The last time the UK was at level four was in May.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to make a televised statement on Covid at 20:00 GMT on Sunday.

He is expected to provide an update on the booster programme. The BBC understands there will not be any new restrictions imposed.

On Sunday evening, the chief medical officers for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland said they were recommending the coronavirus alert level is raised from level three to level four, which signifies Covid is spreading fast.

Risk levels are measured by a five-level, colour-coded alert system. Level four means a high or rising level of transmission.

A statement made by myself

Though lesser people get vaccinated though weaker the virus get.
Though more people get vaccinated though tougher the virus get.

This is based on all I have read about the virus, mutation a.s.o.

Since I'm not an expert on this subject I most likely is wrong.

As a matter of fact there have been numerous Smallpox breakthroughs - in the past, that is, the disease has been eradicated sopme decades ago.

and these covid vaccines are definitely on the extreme low end of the effectiveness scale.

Are they? Then go ahead and prove your claim. I have yet to see a reliable source for that claim, and it better be a good one because the sources supporting a relatively high effectiveness are not only numerous but come from a variety of reliable sources.

What is meant by "weak" and "tough"? A virus is dangerous when it is highly contagious but only moderately deadly. If it is too deadly it will kill the infected person too quickly and thus reduces the chance of spreading itself. If it is less contagious it is much easier to control, isolate and exterminate the virus.

About your statements: At lower vaccination rates more variants have the ability to overcome the effects of vaccination, because weaker variants will still find hosts to infect. That, however, has no effect on the tougher mutations. Even worse: with more hosts the chances of creating a tougher mutation increases (more hosts --> more replications of the virus --> more mutations --> higher chance).
Important to remember: mutations are random. A virus doesn't mutate willingly with a certain goal in mind. A mutation prevails if it is better suited to the environment than another mutation.

Vaccinations make the environment the virus exists in more hostile. As for Covid: the current vaccinations basically destroyed the environment the alpha variant can exist in, so we practically got rid of the alpha variant. Delta is a little more resilient, but can still be fought effectively with the current vaccines. Omikron - well, we'll see. But these are just three variants of the virus, out of more than 56,000 that have been identified since the outbreak.

You first. I'm basing my statement on the rather obvious fact that covid vaccines don't prevent people from catching the disease, transmitting it to others, getting sick from it or does it keep them from dying from it in significant numbers. Doesn't sound like a very effective vaccine to me but maybe you can post some government bullcrap figures to prove otherwise. Go ahead.

As a matter of fact there have been numerous Smallpox breakthroughs - in the past, that is, the disease has been eradicated sopme decades ago.And I hope you don't have to go back to colonial days to to find your examples of smallpox vaccine failure because giving people a hopefully small but unmeasured dose of a live virus is not at all the same as giving them a vaccine. It's playing russian roulette with their lives. I'm not judging them for doing so in their situation but facts are facts.

Tried to find the article in a Swedish newspaper. Well two in fact.

One where an non vaccinated nurse infected som elderly at a care home here 6(I think it was) Died from the infection despite being vaccinated.

The second was a vaccinated nurse at some hospital who infected some patients (Can't remember how many)

It is clear that both vaccinated and non vaccinated infect others yes.

Some question popped up.
Where did this vaccinated nurse get the infection ? Was it a non vaccinated that infected this nurse or was it one of her colleague ? If so where did s/he get it from a.s.o.

No, my friend. You are making the claim, you are going to prove it, that's how science works.

As I have said before vaccines NEVER completely prevent people from catching diseases and transmitting them, they only reduce the chance.

And I hope you don't have to go back to colonial days to to find your examples of smallpox vaccine failure because giving people a hopefully small but unmeasured dose of a live virus is not at all the same as giving them a vaccine.

There were still cases in the 1960s. The effect of smallpox vaccines begins to dwindle after three to five years and is completely gone after 20, as stated by the CDC (via webarchive):

https://web.archive.org/web/20150521074749/http://www.bt.cdc.gov/training/smallpoxvaccine/reactions/about_vac_immunity.html

Injection of a small amount of live viruses is not vaccination, but inoculation.

Yeah and I never claimed they were 100% effective either so take your strawman and stuff it.

The fact remains there's a deep and yawning gulf between what a real vaccine will achieve and what these so called covid "vaccines" have done and you know it. Your claim of some unknown but obviously tiny number of smallpox breakthroughs (if they exist seeing as how you still haven't backed it up) versus the millions of breakthrough covid infections and climbing numbers of related deaths just proves my point that covid vaccines are on the extreme low end of the vaccine effectiveness scale. More a placebo at this point than anything else in my opinion.
