Aye what a nice day.
A guy with a bowler hat and a stiff upper lip came by. He had a dog with him and pushed a bike. He said: "Hello my German friend. Take this bicycle, better you have it than my pesky neighbor!" - Well I believe he said 'neighbour' :03:
Then he disappered, not after he also excused for the wrongfully given Wembley goal and for Fergie becoming fat...

The strangest thing happened to me today.
Three of the Bosnians I work with (and get along extremly well) bought me coffee during break, the suddenly one of them pulled a Quran from his backpack and started reading some lines in arabic. When he was finished he said: you're one of ours now.

I think I've been converted to Islam

Being brilliant is a curse, people expect so much from you.

She was one of the Swedish Navy's most powerful weapons during the Cold War and participated in the Soviet submarine U137 ran aground outside Karlskrona. 1997 crew stepped ashore and left her as she was. See missile boat HMS Västervik at the Naval Museum in Karlskrona, a preserved time capsule of the Cold War.

Thanks for the links, Vendor, pretty interesting stuff. :salute:

I remember having seen the last film in full in the Karskrona museum, very well made, it was a bit longer, full time about 15mins iirc. Back in 2010 when we were there, they had an exhibition about the Cold War and of course a part of it was the submarine incident. So they had all the posters shown in the clip there in original, also original news footage, statements of eye witnesses, etc.
And some other cool stuff, like a missile:

In a family-friendly forum, I can neither confirm nor deny what I am doing with my left hand when using my right to take a picture of a redhead with a missile :smug:

As long as you don't get what we've had the past few days. Poor old York has taken a battering.

Hard to think I walked over that river every day for a week back in April. That being said, when we were up there there was some hefty rain, not a real downpour but enough to drench you through and then streams and rivers up on the Moors! Good lord they were a real torrent, so you can see how quickly it can flood.

The noise was quite astonishing, this was taken at Goathland, and it was barely raining then but all the water was coming down off the hills. Quite impressive.
