For Bet! Labour Minister Andrej Vizjak remains optimistic about the prospects for the adoption of a labour reform despite the current government crisis. "The government crisis has not rubbed off onto labour reform talks," he told the STA in a short interview. Vizjak expects the talks at the Economic and Social Council to continue intensively through the end of the month and is confident the reform laws could be adopted in March as planned.

Asked how the time frame would be affected if the government collapses, Vizjak said the process of forming a new government does not happen over night. "Whatever it may be, it will allow the current cabinet to work through the end of January or mid-February."

We need reforms. Millions of them. But not written by these retarded clowns, left or right.

Combating gray economy by raising taxes and forcing even more companies to employ without registering workers. That worked alright.

This weekend I'm up for a project my foreman organises. A private small company is making a catamaran and I'll be on a 5 man work team to laminate it. 2 days of 15 hour work and €9 per hour. Untaxed, unreported. Twice as much as I usually make. Something our goverment is trying to stop by making our contract giver loose less money by risking a fine for illegal employment of labor than paying us with all the papers involved. Plus, he has only a handfull of employers on his own, because the labor laws will bust him if he employes five more.

We went to see the vet today, state orders, courtesy of the veterinary buerau and the jerk who has an interest in medling in someone elses life.
She said it's either operate the bulge (which would kill him) or eutanise him. Either way, a report has to be filled to the state efectively forcing me to put him to sleep. So much for me defending my country against August's rants.

When some proud Son of Man returns to Earth,
Unknown to Glory, but upheld by Birth,
The sculptor’s art exhausts the pomp of woe,
And storied urns record who rests below.
When all is done, upon the Tomb is seen,
Not what he was, but what he should have been.
But the poor Dog, in life the firmest friend,
The first to welcome, foremost to defend,
Whose honest heart is still his Master’s own,
Who labours, fights, lives, breathes for him alone,
Unhonoured falls, unnoticed all his worth,
Denied in heaven the Soul he held on earth –
While man, vain insect! hopes to be forgiven,
And claims himself a sole exclusive heaven.

Oh man! thou feeble tenant of an hour,
Debased by slavery, or corrupt by power –
Who knows thee well must quit thee with disgust,
Degraded mass of animated dust!
Thy love is lust, thy friendship all a cheat,
Thy tongue hypocrisy, thy heart deceit!
By nature vile, ennobled but by name,
Each kindred brute might bid thee blush for shame.
Ye, who behold perchance this simple urn,
Pass on – it honors none you wish to mourn.
To mark a friend’s remains these stones arise;
I never knew but one -- and here he lies.

I suppose I should have something to say here. After all, having worked with dogs, I have already lost more friends than most people on this planet will ever have. I should, by going through the experience over and over again, have some great wisdom to share. You know, a magic cure that would make the bad thing go away.

Everytime it happens, I wish I had it too. But there is no getting used to it and no getting over it any other way than letting time pass and slowly starting to remember the good moments from the past instead of the loss from the present moment. All I can ever say about my lads that have left is that we had fun and there is nothing to regret.

A cold comfort, but a comfort nevertheless, is that at least it happens peacefully. You can be there for him. You have time to say goodbye and time to say you're sorry should you feel there is something to apologize for. The dog leaves with you by his side. He doesn't die alone or scared like too many do. He doesn't die suddenly in an accident like too many do. It hurts you, but for the dog it's probably the best possible way of leaving. And after it's over, you can't blame yourself for not being there for him when he needed you. You don't need to think what you could have done otherwise. Trust me on this: that guilt won't go away and no amount of rational explaining it to yourself is going to help it. Of the rough roads this one is the easier.

My god, that was quick.
He went down with a smile, probibly thought he was getting his annual rabbies shot. Not even a yelp. 30 second later he just collapsed in my hands and it was all over.

My father and I dragged him into the wilderness he loved so much, nature was kind to us, the snow was frozen enough to support the sled with the corpse on it, and burried him under an old chestnut tree on fammily owned land.

Hey, we have Swedish Meatballs in our Ikea stores.

We have pizza from Italy, admittedly they aren't like I had in Italy, but they look somewhat similar.

We also have Chicken Tikka Masala from, err, ok, that one's ours, but we do also have genuine Indian, Bangladeshi, Greek, Turkish (sorry to put those side by side), Lebanese, Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese restaurants.

We have tacos, enchillada, chorizo, calamari, olives, and haloumi.

I know there are a couple, but I'd like to see more Gurkha curry houses. :yep:

We have international cuisine here.

Is it wrong to Superglue a crown back in to your own mouth?

It's still in 12 hours later. :yeah:

Well it's still not fallen out again. I obviously used too much glue as when I pushed it back on to the stump I got a really horrible taste of glue on my tongue, lips and the back of the crown. Pah, tasted bad. Taste has gone now though.

I've got a hammer, chisel, drill, superglue, all I need is a chair that leans right back and I've got my own dental surgery. Say 'Ahh'! :D

Five months later it's out again, I'll clean it up and dry it out and superglue it again. Saves a fortune at the sadist's, I mean dentist's.

Although I do need a dentist soon, I've got terrible toothache in a different part of my mouth.

When I got there I was greeted by a gratefull friend and an angry woman :haha:
He told me he was going slow but her angry face and veeeery long skid marks told me he was running an impress-the-wench rally :haha: unfortunately for him he doesn't have my driving skills.
We never got the car out though. My car couldn't grip the dirt enough to pull him out.

Speaking of breaking wind...

If you take a large First Rate Ship of the line, took out all the cannon, and replaced the weight with crewmen, and extra bean rations.

I wonder if possibly you could sail against the wind?:hmmm:

Hate to burst your bubble, but farting into the sails while standing on the said ship would do nothing. The force of the colective farts would cancel out the oposing force on the sails.
Like nothing would happen if the Coyote would put a fan on a wheeled surfboard :O:

Now, a batalion farting into a ship while standing in the dock, that just might work :hmmm:

[read in Richard Attenborough voice] And in these picture we see a rare glimpse of a wild Suzuki patiently waiting in the tall grass for prey to come by. It can stay motionless for days. Combined with their camoflage colors they are efficient ambush predators.

I read an article about Maddie McCann's case.
A Scotland Yard expert says that the chances to find her (after 6 years) are still as big as they were 24/48 hours after she had disappeared.
My sense of humor is pretty broad but that isn't even funny.

Scotland Yard have made more inquiries recently and built up a list of a dozen or so potential suspects they feel should be investigated.

I believe said list is about to be sent to the Portuguese Police.

kranz - As long as you didn't gain a new sister on their return.

Whatever has happened to her will be unbearable for the family.

Jim - serving officer or not you could still have been either guilty yourself or a witness. I'm hoping it's not the former.
