There is a point where some people become aware of what is going on. I know it is a hopeless fight against dumbness and lies if you look at the media. But not all voters are that dumb, and maybe they mobilize now.

I once was pulled over by a cop (I've forgotten the exact traffic infraction) and when he approached my car window, he asked me the boilerplate question, "Do you know why I've stopped you?"...

I was in a peevish mood and and I responded, "Oh, man, I hate pop quizzes...""...

He was startled and paused for a moment and then burst out laughing; the net effect was he had a good laugh and he let me go with just a warning...
