On another note, I think that all the playable ship modders should join forces and work as one to make things easier and get a better quality and quantity of playable ships out there to add on to the already long list of amazing peices of modding work

one thing i seem to noticed is that on silent hunter 3 they only have the playable sboot but on silent hunter 4 there is a bunch of playable surface ships.

Hi folks

This is my first post here, though I have been "shadowing" this forums since the beginings of SH3.

These surface vessels is the reason I started playing SH games. Well, the submarines did "came under my skin" eventualy, but I am still dreaming of a surface campaign.

Now that the ships, thanks to the modders, are available, maybe someone could make a surface campaign. One could start as a merchant ship captain, ferying suplies, eventualy ranking up to a DD, CL...

Unfortunatly, I dont have the know how, or the time to take up such an endevour, but somewhere amongst you great and skilled modders, someone would find this interesting enough to try it.

If not, I dream of SH5 (surface hunter lol).

Thank you modders for your work in bringing this game to where it should be and looking forward to your work.

and welcome to Subsim (officially) gile!
i too have dreampt of a surface campaign, however, i DO have one from the Graf Spee/ ADm. Scheer mod.it is selectable from the campaign start screen

but of course you will need 1.5 and the U-boat missions add-on to enjoy it completely...at least in my opinion...
and i Do know how to make a campaign wiht all supply drops...however, youwill do it for the WHOLE war, and, you wont be attacked...so who knows...

Love this ship, I play a campaign with it now. For that reason I changed some of the guns, lately I replaced torpedo launchers with 5 inch turrets from Fletcher, they engage enemy ships without problems, I just want to ask how i can limit their turning, so left turret can fire only on left side, and right on the right

There are traverse and fire restrictions in the .sim file for the guns.
