Ahahahah, thats something you dont see everyday :rotfl:
Did that torpedo spin above the ship?
She was quietly over the ship and a few second later the second torpedo has exploded and I don't know what do the first, no more appears after.
Crazy !
But as says Blacklight, it's true that she was reguled on the hight value(1 meter) and maby it's the cause of this jump.
I will try again !

That's what happens when you let Bernard set the torpedo speed.
I imagine the crew of that ship had to change their pants though.

Finally nailed one of those annoying torpedo boats. One was sitting idle in harbor so positioned myself for the kill and sent a 45 knot eel at em at 300 meters:

The sunday, to disturb the crew, we make sometime a "torpedo race".
We fire a T2 and 10 secondes later, without any move, we fire a T1 attempting to shot the T2. T1 is set on impact cause it's a serious game.

LMAO
On a whim took a visit up to Torshavn before going to my patrol area in the NW part of AN. At first was skeptical that there was anything worthwhile as the only harbor defense was a ASW trawler. After easily making it past that much to my suprise found a heavy cruiser and several destroyers. After sinking everything the trawler finally came near the docks and started annoying me as there were some tugboats that I was taking out with the deck gun. Waited for him to finally pass over me and drop 1 whole depth charge and then shot a eel straight into his rear end the moment he crossed 300m. He flew around like a drunken pidgeon, enough to rip him apart while airborn:
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/6489/sh3img303200812828859nr2.png
To my suprise he bounced off the water 3 times before finally getting torn apart and sinking into the sea.

The doudlebarreled 20mm AA guns are damn weak somehow.
Can't even shoot down those crappy Gladiators, can't be my aim because when I look from free-cam my bullets hits.
I've only managed to shoot down 1 Spitfire, but that was because of 1 direct hit to the motor from the 2,9cm AA-gun on the IXB.
In 1.3 I almost shot down every damn plane I encountered.

Sounds like it could possibly be closer to RL.........not many planes succumbed to U-boat flack :hmm: Even so, Gloster Gladiators had nothing but light armor to protect from the infantry weapons (could hold against 14-16mm rounds)
But there's no way that it could sustain a frigging barrage of 20mm rounds to the whole structure.
All visible damage that I could do, is to make the engine pop, and make it burn. But not to destroy it.
Hell, I even shoot to the cockpit, but no damn effect.

The Habbakuk Project
HABBAKUK: GEOFFREY PYKE'S ICEBERG AIR
Habbakuk was the idea of a scientist called Geoffrey Pyke. His idea was that because ice was unsinkable, the berg ships would be insulated and impervious to bomb and torpedo attacks. They would be easy to repair as water only had to be poured into holes and frozen, thus making the ship whole. The ships would be cheap to make so that a vast number could be made. The ships could be up to 4000 feet long, 600 feet wide and 130 feet in depth. They could be used to carry aircraft to protect shipping in the mid-Atlantic, since the aircraft would be able to operate at shorter ranges and could be used for an invasion force base. He christened the idea (misspelling the name in the process) after the words from Habakkuk, the Old Testament prophet: “Behold ye among the heathen, and regard and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told to you.” Hab. 1:5

As we were just passing the breakwater leaving Wilhelmshaven on patrol I happened to see seaman Heinrich showing everyone his Fuhrer impression. Unfortunately, at that moment the Gestapo officer came round the corner....

Will post it on its own thread, but that was a very good photo! LOL
Our scientist have found a new way for dealing with the mine threat: a hull that lets the mine pass through it without making any damage.
Unfortunately, during the tests, mine hit the Kaleun's head and exploded, causing the loss of an U-boat and the crew.

No. That's the special Uboat with the PRE-INSTALLED mine. Just let one of those British bastards try to ram them now !!!
Aparently this design never made it past the initial testing stage as the Kaleuns testing it never seemed to run into things for some reason.
:rotfl:You sure it wasn't Bernard's head?
Hmmm... :hmm:. It's possible. He was seen later in the vicinity with the strange looking bump on his head. Of course, he denies any involvement.

Oh, and you should go through the hundred pages anyway. There's a lot of great stuff there, and you don't want somebody a month from now missing yours because he couldn't be bothered.

It is the church of Scapa Flow!
We were passing through the area, but there was nothing and that it was Sunday and not to say that we had come to nothing, we went to church dressed in Scottish fishermen. Should see my second with his kilt to the German colours and his bottle of schnapps coming out of his pocket !

I really have no idea how this happened. Travelling full ahead full past the north of england at max time compression when suddenly I get the infamous "We have flooding sir". Quickly dial down to normal time and check out whats happening and I find I'm beached on a tiny spec of land that can not be seen on the map till you zoom in real close:

Even more worrying than how I got so beeched in the first place is the fact that the damage was so bad I could not get the flooding under control and some how my sub was destroyed and all my crew drowned due to flooding above water. Must be a new English super weapon, water that flows upwards, Ze english swines.

Yes, always the secret weapons with the British, I was minding my own business getting the new boat ready for her first patrol when we got attacked by one of the new RAF-trained mutant U-boat eating sea gulls!
