At first I thought that was camo on your boat, but now I realize it was where the RN blew out the candles on his cake! :dead: No kidding?
We barely made back to home, like the "flare incident" wasn't enough, Bernard drived us under a sinking ship, onto the minefield, AND at home crashing on the dock.
Nice try Bernard, but we're still alive (you little bastard)
*EDIT* Oh geez, these pic's just keeps coming! This time, 2 known dummies in the same place. So near each other, but still unavare of each others.

Thats true. :rotfl: :rotfl: Bernard does infact kill everything.
Kaleu Alfons Elric and the crew of U-35 were beginning to get concerned about Watchman Bernard when he reported to a fair weather watch in his sou'wester singing "Int die Kriegsmarine..." on the Uboats first patrol after Bernards holiday in Holland.

In an attempt to cover up his unfortunate collision with the pier, Bernard has his cousin Marvin, a concrete worker, smooth over his mistake. The Admiral, not fooled for a minute by this ploy, has Bernard transferred back to UBoat duty! Meanwhile, the warship was converted into a very successful restaurant, famous for its "Clams Bernard".

My point was merely to keep this thread from going off topic. And for the second part, I've seen quite a few screenshots posted again by others, which is pointless and just loads up the forum.
Aaand as for my posts not having screenshots, go to page one and start going onwards. You'll find plenty.
Actually, this post from Dowly could have been written by myself. A gentle reminder about keeping on topic, like Dowly's, is always appreciated, no matter who's posting it. Let's not discuss this further. Instead: let those "spycam" shots of Bernard and other virtual u-boat blunders rain into this thread! Please, i need a good laugh, mateys!!:yep:

yes, they came in from bearing 230, 2 Hurricanes with 1 bomb each, they started to speed up in a downward angle towards the boat, to let the bombs go. Aparently they decided to change sides, because the one on the right turned left and the one on the left turned right... then.... KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, the wrecks flew over my ship (now at periscope depth) and landed at about 2,000 metres.
Either someone put Bernard on watch duty, or my watch crew turned mute...either which way, this didn't end well...

Hi everyone! I'm new here and pretty new to SH3.
And on-topic: Most of the screenshots are hilarious:rotfl: !
And could someone tell me (or give me a link) how to add an image to another image in photoshop (don't really know how to say it, hope you understand). I tried to do it in paint but that leaves a white square around the image.
I want to make funny screens too:cry:

11-30-07, 08:17 PM
Hi Toshan, Most folks are self taught that way the photo shop
help and tutorial files will explain it all in good detail.
but If I recall correctly.
Copy the image you want to over lay
touch on the image you want to put it on
then choose paste as new selection.
you may need to try a few times to get size
correct.
also if the image your copying and pasting isnt
a symmetrical square or such
then you will need to learn how to use the
majic wand thingie.
(magic wand may have changed to something else now)
welcome aboard hope this helps and
dont be afraid to post a thread of your own
with the question.
but try to keep the questions in the correct forums
ie. if its not really a modding question it should go
in sh3 if its a game play question that sort of thing.
M:up:
Thank you very much for your answer Mush Martin  !

Those two don't look like they're saluting to me; they look like they're shading their eyes while looking at the sky. In fact they look like they're watching incoming airplanes. In fact, those look like..."Who cares if the bike starts or not...we're all gonna DIE!!!"
Lol. :rotfl:Well, the poor fecka tries to start the bike, get's off it, walks by that officer over there, salutes and walks back to his bike. I take that passenger is getting mighty pissed too. :hmm:

That reminds me of one time when battleship Tirpiz rammed 3 destroyers in a row.
I don't know was it Bernard, but we saw crew jumping out of the Tirpiz in great panic, and screamed something wich started with letter "B"
Then all ships in the Wilhemshaven wen't insane, all cargo ships who were coming to port, beached themselfs.
I must admit that it was the most randomest moment in my U-boot career.

I'm leaving Lorient in September '42. For a change I decided to do so at 1X compression, and only visually from the bridge, following my minesweeper escort. I wasn't using the nav map at all, just following my escort. Good thing I was doing so, too.
About halfway through I'd noticed a tramp steamer heading our way.
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/Albrecht_von_Hesse/SH3Img29-12-2007_21572_421.jpg
I'd expected it to stop; heave to . . . or something. After all, I'd think naval vessels had priority. Even if they didn't, you don't cross each others bows, true?
All of a sudden I noticed my escort going to back speeds. And my comfortable 700 meters follwing distance was abruptly shrinking. Quite fast, too! I had to go to back full in a hurry to kill my forward speed. And still that tramp steamer kept approaching!
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/Albrecht_von_Hesse/SH3Img29-12-2007_22233_343.jpg

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/Albrecht_von_Hesse/SH3Img29-12-2007_22343_421.jpg
Finally it passed, and I waited for my escort to continue guiding me. Hehe.
It never went to ahead again. Just accelerated backwards until . . .

Ok, I'm up in AK up my Iceland (remember that name; it's important) when I get a contact pop up: a small convoy, heading NW and slow.
So I plot out an approach, head off there and lurk. And wait . . . and wait . . . and wait.
Now this isn't so unusual anymore since I started playing GWX 2.04. Contacts no longer have 'tails' that helpfully give an exact course. But I was only a couple of hours away, so it wasn't as if I should have totally lost them. So I started zizagging my way back along their projected base course . . .
And found these . . . .

Oh she can relate to that, :D but she's a bit more vindictive about it, and it was only one eel, ok, yes, it did sink the merchie she was hiding under at the time, but how was I supposed to know that in all the confusion, it being my first MP game as well...:-? :D
But that's no reason to deliberaty try and sink a teammate, oh wait, what I meant to say was:
"inadvertently suffer a minor targeting mishap that entirely accedintally and unintentionally manages to seriously damage a friendly" :smug:
now let's hope she doesn't notice this post for a while, I don't like peeling spuds...

Ok... I actually saw this yesterday, but I think you've had enough of a reprieve.:arrgh!:
As Cranks admits there, he admits to shooting a torpedo at the ship I was hiding under, and at the time I was in command room view and all of a sudden the boat shakes violently, like as in BOOM!!! For a moment I thought it was a depthcharge, hang on.... outside to external view I see a torpedo coming my way with big red letters "KeptinCranky" I then realised that it was a torpedo that just rocked my world, so knowing another was coming, I quickly dived deeper out of the way, the first one could have only missed my conning tower by inches.
I did get an "oops sorry Penny" message, which I accepted, now, what happened when I accidentally torpedoed cranks... I was playing with my torpedo settings in the TDC and the outer door of that particular tube happened to be open... I had no idea it was open... so, I was just playing around, you know, torpedo set to fast, running depth about 12m Impact only... just simulating what I would do if I had to fight a hostile submerged contact.
Also... what is even more astonishing. Cranks' sub happened to be right in front of me at Periscope depth... and even more astonishing, the TDC had a correct gyro angle because me at 20m silly moo forgot to lower my periscope and the persicope from my last attack happened to have the correct gyroangle inputted to hit Cranks!!
Now this last part was truly my fault, I thought that particular tube was empty that it hadn't been reloaded yet, so I pressed fire. And whoosh out went the torpedo. So what happened was a combination of astonishing coincidence, and me having a whopping blonde moment.:D
Now... if I was deliberately trying to torpedo Cranky, I wouldn't have warned him that there was a torpedo coming his way just before it impacted would I?
