I can not get picture of the game with the notebook ... Even using Printscreen does not capture the image.Start campaign Memel + KBD = No

I've got problems by using this mod collection.
Sober, using your snapshot solved all problems I've reported before - I can use the external underwater camera and the camo is shown.
The first impression of this modpack is totaly amazing... the one last thing that no mod can give is the smell and taste of salt water. Great!
Well, I have a savegame where an english submarine crosses my way in the first OH campain, and I didn't know anything to do to engage it: The gun crew didn't do anything in the first try, even when I command to fire at will. On the second try when I load this savegame again they attacked this ship (1 hit out of 20 shots?), but to be honest I do not know what I've done, so I'm not sure how to manage the crew in SH5 or this mod(s) (I came over from SH1/2/3). Any tutorial for this somewhere?
Then I got a windows error (sh5.exe) when I tried to use the stadimeter to calculate the solution for a torpedo attack. You know, you click "use the stadimeter" in the dialoge and there is written something like "not defined" - if I move the mouse over this the error message appears. I reinstalled SH5 and the modpack but it appeared again, so actually it's not possible for me to find out any distances. How can I activate the stadimeter when I'm at UZO or periscope without using the crew dialoge?
Next I tried to find this submarine in the ship register. I found warhips only and I had to browse page by page through all ships, but no submarines where shown. How to search by nations only?
Is there any way to let the crew identifiy and calculate a complete torpedo solution?
Real navigation is a wonderful thing, wow - like on real sailing - but how can I manage to sail a zick zack in coastal waters (like the first OH campain mission) by using TC? I read something about a clock timer?

They wont engage if its a friendly . Click on the WO and then click on man the deck gun . Click on the officer panel on the bottom of the GUI (right hand officer) . Click on deck gun and then click on fire at will . Sometimes if the sub is still surfacing or if the waves are big then the fire at will will return to the hold fire position . Press the space bar to begin firing again afaik . If there are enemy in range they will start firing . If its too choppy or you are too far away from the enemy then expect missed shots . I modded it that way to get the tonnage down a bit .
I don't know why the stadimeter doesn't work . Something I will have to look at .
Regarding the torpedo solution . This is new to me also as the mod Large Optics for TDW UI is a brand new mod . Read the thread for the mod about how to find a solution using the optics .

Use automation to do a search . The button is on the right hand side of the GUI . You must go below decks at least once before using the teleport btw .

Folder is: C: \ Games \ Ubisoft \ Silent Hunter 5 \ data \ CaptainPicture there. But when you click PRINT scren captures the image of what is in the background, does not capture the image of the game. Go figure that one thing...

Such messages about convoys leaving from one place to another, is indeed in the game or are just "illustrations" to increase the immersion? :Hmmm:

hi every one i started new campaign with the addons... in mission screen i see the ship icoon and the mission request... but when sailling it goes away.. is the file still broke? When i end patrol... and select mission i see the request box and the ship icoon.

thanks for that, the crew do it's job on the gun. How do you attack a ship by torpedo by using all these mods right now? Is there any way to do it without the need of a Stadimeter? And do you get the same error message? It's no CTD, just clicking "Ok" and it goes on, looks like an access error.

please im trying to play last 3 weeks...I don't know the answer . I am playing perfectly well with no ctds with an ATI 5870 . Do you have the uplay launcher settings "' always start Uplay in offline mode '' ticked . Also right click on the SH5 exe and go to properties\Compatability . Run as administrator . Run this program in compatability mode for windows 7 . See if that helps .

3. Downloaded Sober's mod list and activated it.
4. CTD when I try to load the first mission/campaign.
It appears the CTD happens after the loading screen.
I get a black screen, music stops, bang...

I guess the error is on my side, despite reading a lot here, I still mess it up. Does someone have a hunch where I went wrong?

Has the one file download been updated with all the newest updates? I remember last time i tried to download the all in one file, it was outdated by a couple of months. (I tried this about 4 months ago) and there were issues with the mod order, i think. (Everytime i attacked a Battleship, Capital Ship type, the game crashed. )
Just curious if it has been updated within the last month or two.

Hi Sober, love your mega mod. I have a question hopefully you can help me with. I think I there's a problem with merchants always travelling at flank speed. If I'm correct, it has something to do with OH II and I've been searching all over but I can't find a solution.

This mod list is meant to be played on 100% realism settings . The idea is to make it hard to get tonnage . You might be lucky enough to raid a port with no DDs on your tail . The campaign is dynamic so next time you might not be so lucky . Watch the moon light at night . Your sub can be detected more easily at night with the moon out so try to use medium fog night to your advantage . Never have your sub between an enemy and the moon . Use the optics to work out a torpedo solution using manual imputs with the TDC . Know how deep the water is at all times . Upgrade equipment as a matter of urgency so you have the latest defense against attacking DDs . Use wolfpacks whenever possible to lessen the chance of being pinned down by DDs . Plan the safest route and always be careful of planes . They will cripple your sub or kill you .

In my case, Uplay has automatically updated since v2.0. Have you gone to the ubisoft uplay site, and updated to the latest version of Uplay now? Version is 4.1+.

Well I've tried disabling Realistic Contrast. To no avail, even tried lowering graphics settings shadows etc. still the same getting 58 FPS though! :hmmm:
gonna have to try different graphics drivers, but it's getting late! It used to work! I will post my findings!

Right click the desk top and disable the aero theme in windows , it uses lots of memory imo . Enable the latest MEP file . See how that goes .

Open Room_CR.GR2 in TDW's Editor;
go in the 'Meshes' tab and look for the light bulb node;
look for the light bulb mesh (it is called 'CR_bec_sticla' in this case; you can locate items by toggling their visibility on/off through their checkbox);
expand the previously located node until you can see the material used (it is '4 Default' in this case);
right click on the above material, and select 'Edit' (an 'Add/Edit Material' window should appear at this point);
expand the 'ExtendedData' node in the previous window, and scroll down to the bottom; you should look at the following group of material properties:
Ambient Color: 1.000000 1.000000 1.000000
(the color of faces receiving no light; 1 1 1 = white, 0 0 0 = black, 1 0 0 = bright red, 0.5 0.5 0 = yellow-green, etc.)
Diffuse Color: 1.000000 1.000000 1.000000
(the color of faces receiving light; it is summed up to ambient color)
Specular Color: 1.000000 1.000000 1.000000
(the color of highlights; it is summed up to ambient and diffuse color)
Shininess: 0.100000
(this should control the extent of highlights [?])
Shininess Strength: 0.000000
(this should control the strength of highlights, i.e. the opacity of the 'Diffuse Color' [?])

(self explanatory)
Self Illumination: 1.000000
(the strength of light radiating from the object [?])
SelfIlluninationIsOn: 0
(a boolean; not used, or used to switch the following property on [?])
Self Illumination Color: 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000
(similar to other 'Color' properties, but applied to emissive objects; probably not used in SH5, or ignored when 'SelfIlluninationIsOn' is set to 0 [?])
I would try dimming the 'Self Illumination' property and dimming/turning 'Color' properties to a warmer tone. If you eventually find a good balance, you should repeat the above steps for all the u-boat rooms.
Summing up: the reduction of glowing light should be feasible, though the effect of various settings might vary with gfx hardware used. On the contrary, there is not obvious way to switch between 'white' and red bulb color, but by choosing a compromise color (and, perhaps, by making bulbs slightly transparent), you can partly obviate the problem :salute:

It says in the OP, that if the Request Mission button is gone, the game is corrupt and has to be reinstalled.

It's January 9, I've just finished North Western approaches, and returned to base only to find that the Request mission button for the new mission is gone. I've been tampering with my mod soup while on this patrol, does that mean I messed something up? Perhaps I finished NW approaches too soon and the button for SW will appear later? Also, if it's really corrupt, why can't I just keep playing without the request mission button? I can still sink ships in the SW area and get crosses, right? I've put a lot of time into this and don't feel like starting it all over again. :(

I think I added Sober's latest Equipment upgrades patch and speech fixes and additions - german version mod while still out on patrol. I also made a custom mod with changes to Zones.cfg (flooding times) file, but I made sure to edit the one from OH2 to retain compatibility. I also completely removed all mods and then added them back - some in slightly different order as in sober's list. And I removed Longer repair times, which I think is obsolete because I already have Reworked Submarine Damage.

I also made a custom mod with changes to Zones.cfg (flooding times) file, but I made sure to edit the one from OH2 to retain compatibility. And I removed Longer repair times, which I think is obsolete because I already have Reworked Submarine Damage.
mmm... too many changes, I am afraid that your only chance of recovering your current campaign is restoring a snapshot of your previous mod list and loading an old save game, in case you kept back-up copies of both.
If not, my suggestion is to wait a few days before scrapping your current campaign. Maybe some other forum mate will have a better idea than me :yep:

Nope, that's my mission briefing map, I double checked it.
If it's corrupted, what are the actual consequences? I know I can't request mini missions which means less renown rewards, but can't I still advance the main objective (ship tonnage) and continue with the campaign?

I know I can't request mini missions which means less renown rewards, but can't I still advance the main objective (ship tonnage) and continue with the campaign?If you are not getting any ctds then I wouldn't worry about it atm . See if the game fixes itself up when you finish the coastal waters campaign and get to the next campaign .
The main concern was ctds .

I get occasional ctds anyway. Mostly on loading a game or quitting to windows.
Anyway, I reloaded a 3 days old save with my current mod list, went to base and checked the map - the button is back! That means I will have to re-do the whole of NW approaches, but that's better than starting from 0. :)

Unrelated question (I didn't feel like creating a new thread just to ask): is there a error reporting system in SH5? I couldn't find any concrete info on google. I'm getting a ctd every time at ~4 minutes after damaging a Nelson Battleship in NW of Britain. I've tried repeating it with low graphics, didn't help.
Edit: Weird. I followed the ship a couple km further, attacked it at different position and now it seems to work flawlessly.

Your campaign objectives cfg files have change from when the current campaign started.
Do as Sober says and just continue without requesting missions and the campaign will fix itself when you progress to HappyTimes:up:

Yes, I run SH5 in 1920x1080.
Edit: I don't use the patcher yet, may this be a problem? I just loaded the list and started it up. It seems to work ok, except for this off-center ruler thing which makes manual plotting impossible...

yes and no. I haven't ever noticed anything wrong with EQuaTool, but checking its settings is quite easy: you must open data\Manu\MouseCurs\Mouse.cfg, and look for the section relative to the off-center tool. For each tool\cursor there are two values: XO is offset of tool's center (in pixels) from the left of its corresponding dds or tga file; YO is the vertical offset from top to bottom. Texture files are located in the same folder as the cfg file :salute:

Sorry Silent Steel, I should have mentioned that most of the 'extended' map tools are identical. To fully understand their texture files you should enable their alpha channel, which contains all the detail: markings, crosshair, etc.

Think of the XO/YO values in the cfg file as the horizontal/vertical offset of each tool's origin (from where lines start being drawn), respective to top left corner of its own texture. Let's say that we have a 512 x 512 pixels texture. Setting its offsets to 0,0, would mean that the origin will be located at the top left corner; 512,512, on turn, means "start drawing from the bottom right corner"; finally, 256,256 places the origin at the center of the texture (note that this is not necessarily the exact crosshair's center, but it should get close) :03:

In the said file, semicolons are not used for marking comment strings, but for denoting a range of "active" pixels (only useful for pointers). :yep:

But all I see is Fog.. Only experience medium fog atm.

As soon as they say they have spotted something , submerge . Or just unenable sobers fog anytime and try the dynamic environment fog . Medium fog during day should give you about 10000 meters distance .

I had this problem too when I came from skagerak, I alos tried too start a new campain witch same result. Its CTD when I was near kiels harbor entrance
I used Trevally harbor script
Then i tried to do it manually, and no CTD

Ctd could be anything . I found that if you try to enter kiel at a slightly different approach or time IE: turn around and head in a different direction for a while then turn around and head for kiel . Save lots and you can usually eventually reach kiel . Once you reach kiel you shouldn't have any more trouble .

First, thank you for this amazing mega mod. Second, I'm trying to load sub_exhaust_1_0_5_byTheDarkWraith and it makes a CTD. I think that for more realism, is better to include the exhaust smoke of the submarine. But for me it's imposible. My question is: it's possible load this mod with your mod list or it's may be incompatible?

I forget it! :doh: Crash dive makes CTD. It's posible fix that with Rubini_Crash_dive_fix_for MCFM 1.2.1&MCCD v1.3b_For_All? Of course enabling MCCD_1.04_MFCM_1.2.1_compatible

I think zone settings are loaded in memory every time an unit using a given zone is spawned in game. There should be no relation with campaign progression :salute:

I have long tried to understand the CTD problem and I'm quite sure that there is relation between SH5 and the hard drive that determines the amount of information that can be uploaded into the internal memory. I have a good computer with plenty of memory capacity, but my hard disk is slow. I'm pretty sure that causes CTD both at startup and when approaching a major port and when to use silentotto. I have not found any specific mod causing the problem. I believe that new ideas are needed to develop SH5 further in the future.:salute:

The one change in OH's library folder over v 2.2, are the new aircraft guns and rockets provided by Serge65.
I had a quick look into them, and the 12mm gun got a not existing material id assigned. The problem might be that or some duplicated id, though I have no idea on why it is showing up only in Kiel. :hmm2:
I can provide a material fix, if required. Should not work, I suggest removing the new guns and their relative controllers one by one, until we track down which one actually crashes the game :salute:

Third time I try to come back to SH5, third time I get disappointed.
Got a new computer, i7 4770k, 16gb ram, 7970 lightning, 3 24" monitors in eyefinity, samsung 840 pro 256gb.
Did a fresh install from uplay, "Gold Edition", updated to 1.2, did the tutorial.
Then downloaded every single one of the mods in your list, downloaded your last mep, installed all mods.
Went to bunker, back to menu, back to bunker, and off we go.
First huge disappointment: no eyefinity support? seriously? stuck in stinking 1920x1080 :/\\!!

Real navigation, it was the first time I was trying it, and I enjoyed it.
Definitely much harder than real time map updates and being able to plot
your course with 100% accuracy, it really does improve the experience. :rock:
Then I find my first ship. I save the game just in case, as CTDs are a plague.
Ask my deck crew to fire at the ship from 2.5km away and I realize they must
have serious sighting issues. One shot goes into the water 10m from the uboat,
the next flies over the enemy and lands 1km away. The shots went all over
the place, about 10% of them actually hit the ship. So I went closer, 500m
away, and amazingly enough they were still blind, but at least 75% of the shots
were actually hitting the ship, and about 20% of them being in the waterline,
which is what I asked for.
Sadly I didn't find a way to man the deck gun myself, otherwise I would have
taught them how to properly operate it.
Finally sank the ship, but a destroyer must have received a radio message
cos I saw smoke in the horizon, 10km away. Actually the crew saw it, I couldn't
spot anything since it was 2am and pitch black.
So I set the course 240 degrees, same direction the destroyer is coming from,
and ahead flank we go. It's 2am, pitch black dark, so I figure the destroyer
won't be able to see me from more than 3km away, so I make my mind to
get as far as I can until he's around 5km from me, then go under and haul
my ass ahead flank for a bit more, then go silent and slip away.
Before I can finish my thought process, a shell lands on the middle of my uboat,
killing my chief and navigator, destroying good part of my command room.
So, a destroyer can spot my uboat from 10km away, and hit the first shell dead
on, while my crew can't hit a ship 3 times larger then my uboat, from 2km away?
Right...
So I reload the game, sink that ship faster, and run away faster, only for the
same thing happen again: from 9km away the destroyer spots me and within
2 shots I'm dead. This was just to confirm that it wasn't a lucky shot the first time around.
It's 1939, second day of war, and the enemy destroyers have elite crew and
laser aiming, alien technology. I guess I'll be modding a few files on my installation
to fix this into something more... "reasonable".
You'll find in many books how uboat captains would approach a convoy during
the night when there was no moon and it was really dark, and fire their torpedoes
from 800m away, SURFACED, without being spotted. After loading the game
a few times I noticed that around 3.5km away, the ship would send a radio
message reporting my position. Tried multiple times, even with decks awash,
at 5kts, still would spot me from 3km. You want your nights dark like that?
Great, really improves realism. But gotta be tuned overall, for realism.
In conditions like those, second day of war, lonely ship, 2am and pitch black,
I'd say with a little bit of luck it would be plausible to ram that ship without
being spotted.
But whatever, let's keep going, I can fix this later.
Sink the ship, escape, 2 minutes later, CTD.
Load the game again, sink the ship, escape, CTD.

I do have the feeling that some random ship would enter the game's rendering
area and cause the CTDs.
It's almost 5am, spent the whole day doing nothing but installing the game
and mods and trying to play it, only to fail and get frustrated.
At first I was excited with the prospect of coming back to the series to play
it and specially to mod it. But it seems much more unstable than SH3, and the
lack of a mega-mod is really bad. A mega-mod, stable and tested to the bone,
like GWX was, is what SH5 needs. May become obsolete after 5 minutes,
since the modding community is really active, but at least it would be a stable
platform from which we could mod, a starting point, where the base would
already be very good and playable, and only a few tweaks would be necessary.
I don't want you to feel bad with what I'm gonna say now, Sober, but your
topic is a mess! There's no "steps" on the first posts, the information is all
tossed in there out of order, I had to read the whole thing multiple times in
order to be sure that I wasn't missing any steps that could lead to CTDs.
I understand that you're doing the community a great favor by putting all
these mods together and finding out the best order for them to work, but
the way the information is laid, it's scary even for people that know what
they're doing, I bet anybody coming here to try mods for their first time
would have a brain aneurysm trying to figure out this.
If you want I could give you a hand organizing this and making it more "friendly".
To be honest what I would really like to do is to create an installer with these
all-in-one supermod, but since it's not even stable, no point.
Tomorrow is the last attempt, and if it fails I'll permanently abandon the SH
series, which is a shame, since it was for over 10 years my favorite game.:wah:
I'd like to hear from you about these CTDs, what could be the problem, or
if you are having similar problems.

Third time I try to come back to SH5, third time I get disappointed.
Got a new computer, i7 4770k, 16gb ram, 7970 lightning, 3 24" monitors in eyefinity, samsung 840 pro 256gb.
Did a fresh install from uplay, "Gold Edition", updated to 1.2, did the tutorial.
Then downloaded every single one of the mods in your list, downloaded your last mep, installed all mods.
Went to bunker, back to menu, back to bunker, and off we go.
First huge disappointment: no eyefinity support? seriously? stuck in stinking 1920x1080 :/\\!!

yes, CTD is really a hell. Sorry to say it but I think new ideas are very needed. It appears that a long list of mods causes CTD when the game is loading or is near a major port. The only way to avoid the CTD is the use of two MEP files. A short file with only the necessary mods that you use when you start the game or when you are approaching a major port and a larger file of your favorite mods when you are on the open water. By using this rather simple, but idiotic way, I have eliminated the CTD to a minimum. Good luck and don't give up!:salute:

It's some kind of incompatibility of few newly added files (Library folder) from OHII2.3 with some other mods, but we are not sure which one...:hmmm:

So things look good now regarding CTD S so far? Do we need fiddle with the shells in the library folder?
(Shells_Rck.dat, Shells_Rck.dsd, Shells_Rck.sim and Shells_Rck.zon files from Library folder) They talked about that in FX update page.

Been running the complete 'sobers 2100 30122013' list for some 20 - 25 hrs without any issues worth mentioning.
Just some minor lag and other things messing around with me that turned out to be due to my own stupid settings :oops:
So, this far it all seems to run fine on my rig anyway :up:

Still, I'll add it to my list and do some test runs
Good day everyone, I've just recently come back to SH5 and decided to try out this impressive modlist. However, I'm experiencing some small issues:
1) 'Ship submerged' status is often set on and off when on surface, which plays annoying messages such as 'Running on both diesels' and disallows me to use celestial navigation. Even though I recall this bug from my earlier not-so-heavily modded playthroughs, I can't find anything about it on the internet.
2)Graphical glitches. Ocean animation tends to reset every so often. I also experience small and dark flashing patches over the sky as well as in uboat's interior.
Any tips on how to fix these would be greatly appreciated. I'm using every mod except for:
OPEN HORIZONS II v2.3 patch1 beta ;AAguns_12_20_40mm; Rocket_3InchGB_&_5InchUS. The load order is correct - using the .mep file provided. SH5.exe patches are also applied using the .gsp file provided.
Computer specs: i5-4430 CPU, GTX 760 GPU, 8GB RAM, Win7.
Nvidia control panel settings are default.
Ubisoft version of the game patched to 1.2.
Windowed mode is off, every graphic setting is set to max aside from antialiasing.

Welcome aboard formally Rasher on your second post!:salute: As some enlightened ol':subsim:ers have said: there is no 'best'; each have their points; play all three (SHIII,IV &V) real diehards still play Aces of the Deep and SHII. Fifi os Sober's mod list is the best place(s) to start out a workable mod soup. It's all about the fun, not picking a life style...I mean really! we escape to here to ESCAPE our lifestyle.:har: LOS! I had no ctds from the time I left Memel until I reached the british coast after leaving Kiel . In fact i tried to break the game by using high TC around Kiel . I couldn't get a ctd at all . Let me know if you get a ctd with this list .

I was looking over some mods, I switched out No More Magic Skills for Reworked Morale and Abilities. I did notice something with the order of Reworked. I think it needs to be in this order:

If you put MCCD_1.04_MFCM_1.2.1_compatible above Reworked Morale and Abilities there will be lost in dialog. There doesn't seem to be problems, after viewing files, that would cause Reworked anything negative much if it was placed last in that order. I think I saw like two small lines changed in dialog or something changed.
If you were using No Magic Skills then it would be like before:

I've installed all the mods in the order they come in the Sober's list, offline uplay, silent otto typed, changed file with notepad for tutorial done=true as advised etc but still can't start a new campaign despite being able to play historical missions.
Apologies if this is the 100th time you've heard this but it is frustrating not being able to not enjoy such a wonderful collection of mods. thanks.

Yes patched to 1.2. Well, I get as far as the main menu and then able to choose at what point to start campaign (Western Approaches 41) but then I get no further, although I get several minutes of loading until it crashes so maybe it is a uplay issue. I notice the settings screen for uplay has changed from the one shown originally for how to set to offline play. Maybe I'm getting it wrong there. Hope this might help to show where it's going wrong.
BTW, I played SH5 before with a number of mods plus OH2.2 and it worked fine.
Well, any further help much appreciated. If it doesn't work I'll go back to OM and GWX.

Try starting with the first one (it should be Coastal Waters) and see what happens. I'm really not sure what the problem is (maybe someone else will know), but I would reinstall the game (delete SH5 folder from My Documents), install all mods, double check that their load order is correct and try again.
Also, defrag your hard drive. I used to get very long loading times and sometimes crashes too, when I hadn't defraged it first.

Some issues going on with OHII v2.3 and still being addressed.
Your modded game will never be stable unless it is NEVER exposed to u plays overlay. It must be created in isolation and maintained in isolation.

Since I'm the new guy plunkin around here... and I haven't seen the above statement before... can someone explain the above quote... as I've just run into a Game Launcher Error code 2 when re-installing SH5 and can not play at this point. I would love to "maintain isolation". Uplay support has not responded to my quiry.

Alright I figured out my issue with the speed charts, even though I had expanded the list I didn't realize that there were others charts not visible while expanded. Just dumb luck that I happened to use the scroll wheel and find the other charts.
The tutorial I tried was the fast 90 attack, but since I'm using real navigation there aren't map updates for the tutorial. I was still able to achieve the hits because of my experience with SH3 GWX.
Would any of the other tutorials have a conflict with the mega mod setup, since I'm just getting into SH5 for the first time?

So here is a quick review of OH II and Sober's MOD list.
Jaw dropping beautiful!:yeah: Soooo much more amazing than my old SH 5 MODS.
Had two CTD's... one when I swung the view around wildly and one when I tried to use the UZO. I was still in the bay, heading out to sea both times. I have not tried to use the UZO since and I'm much calmer while trying to see all there is to see.
I read that there was an issue with the UZO at some point, but thought I also read it was fixed.
I've just been given the go-head to start sinking Polish shipping and I'm on the hunt... well, tomorrow I'll be on the hunt.

It would be nice, indeed. Unfortunately only a few modders were able to make the best of yet existing animations. Creating new animations is out of our reach currently, but I know privateer was looking into them until recently...

One CTD and that was upon clicking the UZO again. I unbolted it and threw it overboard.
I'm running windows 7pro 64bit on a Samsung 840 EVO 500gig SSD thru an Intel Core i5 4670k processor at 3.40Ghz... liquid cooled, an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB, a Sapphire 7970 card, 32 gig ram and I look at it all on an Asus 2560X1440 monitor (only one and only 28"). there is a bell to my left and a whistle to my right. So... what's up with the crashes?

I'm not running TC any faster than 128. I edited the SH 5 files to match your settings, which looked like TC is limited to 256. I have not tweaked on the computer, so I'm not overclocked, but I also haven't really gone deep into the beast... (only a couple of months)... so there may be something I've missed. I get a little skitterish changing settings with Microsoft or messing with bios and I'm still stumbling thru Windows 7... Why do they have to rename everything or hide apps in new places every time they design a new OS? Just call it (for example) "display settings"... not "personalize". For crying out loud... I just want to change the display settings... not start a relationship with the thing!
One more thing... and this may be one of the tutorial mods... but my crew always has something to say (a chatty bunch)... and, annoyingly, walk around with exclaimation marks over their heads... like dude... I'm the captain... I know what to do already! And for crying out loud... Josef... fix the leak over by the chart table... that drip, drip, drip is driving me crazy... lol

I don't feel ready to run Real Navigation yet, and I'd like to still leave the external camera and event camera enabled. Other than not installing New UIs x.x.x Real Navigation is there anything else I need to watch out for?

PS: I can't config more than one hotkey in automation (only z). With the OptionFileEditorViewer all seems ok, but when run the game the hotkeys 2,3 and 4 are "disabled".

I s there a thread with some more info? I don t use realistic hydrophone atm..All it is , you cannot click on Load Game anymore . Just click on continue campaign . You can still save and delete games as normal . It just means that your last save is the only one you have .

I think he means that your SH5 is not updated correctly
Go to; Silent Hunter '5\Support\GameUpdater\gu.exe' and run it!
This should update your SH5 to the correct version (1.2.0)
Have you tried this and mean that it doesn't work?
Like this (the picture shows v1.0.0 but i assume you see 1.1.5.0. Should be 1.2.0)
