Somebody (Armistead!) needs to go fetch Donna before the SP's catch up with her.
I have received a disturbing report that she is running drunk amok and apologizing while putting boots to nads at a local Golf Tournament.

Finally back after God knows how long. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed one damned bit.

While we're speaking of flatulence, I must say that, while my own stink to high heaven, provided I eat right, I am the only one to ever have to smell them, which completely takes the fun out of it.

No, the reward goes to my 15-year old German Shepherd mix, who will (I kid you not) sit in front of a fan pointed at my family and I as we watch television, let loose a god-awful fart, and walk away as if nothing happened.:shifty:

Having become disgusted with the bilge and it's members, I try not to visit here much. I am trying to refine my life to that as a member of the upright human race. Still, I find myself returning, yearning for the smell of diesel, body odor and the stench of Donna's cooking. I find I miss the red eyes, bone thin bodies and drunken pagan behaviors. I miss the days where we gathered trading stories and new ideas on herpes treatment. I miss the parties in the aft!!!

Maybe it is true, "You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave."

Still, I was we would head out on patrol and be proud to be the men we once were! If only we were properly led.

Very soon, fresh loaves of bread would sprout white fungi, which the crews promptly nicknamed as “Rabbits”, due to the white fuzzy appearance. http://www.uboataces.com/images/loading_food.jpg National Loaf recipe:

Ingredients:
(Yields: 10 loaves)
Potato Flour - 1740g
Salt Sea Fine - 140g
Tap Water - 4740ML
Vitamin C - 6g
Wholemeal flour - 5220g
Yeast - 210g

Method:
Mix all ingredients in spiral mixer for 3/5 min
Place dough in lightly oiled container, let rest for 45 minutes
Knock back and let rest for another 45 min
Scale at 1kg, first shape (round)
Rest 10-15 min, then second shape
Place bread in oiled baking tins, prove for 45-60 min at 28-32c
Bake at 208c top 204c bottom, with 5 sec steam. Open vent after 25 min, bake for a further 25 min
Remove from tins immediately and cool on a rack All these years of subsimming and the moldy bread is suddenly giving you "Night of the Fuzzy Lepus " trauma...it's the Eastern Front for kaleuns gone 'Loony'. Try to keep it together Fearless Leader; We won't tell.:o

I've had it with y'all.......I am running this ship now. I want it in tip top shape. I want Wolferz removed from the head, even if by force. I want it remodeled and things so clean Neal would be happy to eat in it.

We will have no weapons, so I want some ram installed on the front. Our guns don't work so I got us all slingshots. When i call battle stations, we will all go topside, sling shots firing and ram the enemy.

You're still the captain. Since rowing is with half the crew at 7 knots changing out rowers periodically to maintain speed and leading the tempo inducing rowing songs is critical! When ramming at full speed: 15 knots!!!!; EVERY ONE's ON the oar and switching to reverse in unison after impact is crucial. Also: your in charge of all the vinegar-soaked ox-hides on the upper decks/sides to keep any opponents from Greek Fire'g US! One of these days Arimstead's going to follow through on a fart, and I hope to be there to witness this momentous occasion!

.. Preacher looked at me and said " do you seek salvation?" With tears in my eyes, I replied with a firm "yes i do!".

Next, crippled lady in a wheel chair gets up and opens the window. Preacher thought healed and praised the Lord. A few of my youth friends caught on and to escape, they came to the alter too. Preacher said the spirit was moving, but we knew that it was much more than the spirit that came out of my brothers ass. Several youth on the alter with red faces, tears in their eyes, sure it looked spiritual. Old Ms Johnson fell over when it hit her, preacher thought spirit slayed her, but fart killed her outright. Later at her funeral 5 more was saved, so he said it was worth it.

With all the fuss on our side the aisle, those on the other side weren't to be outdone. We had one old fat black lady in the church, one black was allowed as long as they were old. She was like a spiritual lady, people listened to her. When the fart hit her, she hollered out "da angels done broke the 7th seal, judgement day is here!" so that really got people stirred up and revival broke out.

Saw the church mouse heading out the back. The entire youth group ....rededicated and several people got saved. The Lord does work in mysterious ways!

Please forgive Armistead. He knows not what he do.
Airs of crepitation and the low rider boustier with strategic electrical tape...

This is what I hate of secret clubs, eventually they get a reputation and everyone wants in. Organizations like ours, real or imagined, formal or informal, it's in our refusal of people that makes us better than they are. The tight bond of a small group that was once famous becomes generic. Once people feared us, looked at as with suspect, wondered what the Rats were up to. This is no more! The allure and odor of the Bilge is gone, our codes, rituals, secrets mean nothing. Our allure and fame to be lost in political correctness and mass numbers. Soon our Bilge Rat famous shirts, once desired by rich collectors will be found in a discount bin at Walmart mixed in with old 70's tv series DVD's for 3 for $5. It's the covered breast that makes it sexually desired!

Fourscore and some years ago, our special core was famous for our bravery, taking the battle to the enemy, our lore, SS, tales of legend and fame unheard of. We were the cream of the crop that rose to the top! We were men's men! We spent hours in combat just to share a tale, a report, a SS. We laughed, cried and bled together. We were there for each other day and night, through the good and bad. We understood the pain of a corrupted save! With the demise of Ubi, we revolted, rioted, we refused to just go along. We confined ourselves to the lowest depths of smut, to the bilge. Our once famed acts of bravery turned to acts of perversion. Simply, if we were not to stand out at the top, we would be the lowest of the low. Are we now to just be........average? The bible says ...."be ye hot or cold or I spew you", hell, I forget the rest, but you get it. Has anyone not noticed some of the greatest Rats of all time have simply walked away?

Men, Donna and Aktung, I beg of you...the open door policy of Wolferz will be our demise and soon the Bilge will be lost in the forum scrap pile of lost threads that you have to use the search function to find. We will simply vanish away, each going their own way to other worlds, where years later you go back and find some old post, a memory that brings a tear to your eye and you wondered what happened....where are they all now.

Mem'ries,
Light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were
Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? Could we?
Mem'ries, may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember...
The way we were...
The way we were...

Wolferz, I think it's time for you to start another club, another revolt...call it the Squirrel's Club. Take your lot of goat followers with you.

Make your choice real Rats. Stay loyal to who we are or go live in a tree and eat nuts.

I'm sure the long term members are with me.

Don't let the hatch hit you on the way out.............

I've just had about enough of those filthy scurvy rats that you call shipmates Admiral, if you ever need a rat fink exterminator just give me a bell, I'm quite proficient in disposing of such vermin. :stare:

Beware of that swamp thing from hell Lt. Armistead Admiral, me thinks he's after getting promoted, at your expense might I add.....
Now I'm off to find Mr Squirrel, I'll offer him some prime acorns for his collection and to thank him for the early warning. :D

"I've only been away three days, so who's been trying to break into my Club House? Couldn't you read the sign: "NO NUTS STORED IN THIS BUILDING OVERNIGHT"?

Anyway, you lot down there are clearly experiencing some kind of personality meltdown (you haven't by any chance had Catfish round for tea have you?) So, being a friend of the Squirrel as well as a Bilge Rat are not mutually exclusive, as demonstrated by Tango and Aktung, but despite anything you may have heard, I have not so far accepted any invitation to join the Bilge myself; I don't think I am temperamentally suited to the fetid atmosphere down there (especially after breakfast)".

You Bilge Rats are a bit too indecisive for my taste, if I do decide to join The Bilge you'll have to smarten up pretty damn fast.
So is it a yes or a no then?, and don't start thinking and typing at the same time as you're clearly incapable of doing two things at once.

Mr Squirrel does have a valid point as well, what clubhouse advantage does yours have that Mr Squirrels doesn't. While you're pondering on this momentous question perhaps you could give the answer before the human race becomes extinct. :hmph:

are we squirrels or rats... as far as i know squirrels don't belong to the rat family, even tho both are rodents. squirrels are a lot like the common dog, they live in trees, but dogs came down and no longer climb trees. squirrels go back as far as 45 million year, rats go back 100's of millions, a problem i know for u that think the earth is 6000 years old.

rats are very edible, but tough. you have to cover them in salt for an hour, this will make very tender, then wash it off, fry them them in lard. dip them in bacon tartar sauce. slap them on a biscuit with a mater and you have some good eaten.

If you drank some supermarket's instant (RedOwl, Kroeger's, NationalTea, Wynn Dixie, Safeway etc), chain or military C-ration caffeine beverage, his tastebuds and engineering made that happen. He literally would blend the various cups on a huge round swivel table and come up with the best formula blend and then manufacture it in the frigid wasteland of MPLS, MN. His ability enable'd his corporate employer to keep him, a B-29 navigator/engineer military officer, 1st Lt., from getting recalled to Korea; as his usefulness to the military making C-ration coffee was vital. Considering that MIG's were killing B-29's wholesale by then, I'm only here as the result of a good 'cuppa' Joe:o; As COB, whether in my own kitchen or the Catalina: WullyBully, the coffee maker is 24/7; French-roast beans hand ground-everyday BBY!!http://www.public.navy.mil/subfor/underseawarfaremagazine/Issues/Archives/issue_46/images/pig_boat_5.gif<USS Pampanito coffee maker: "But, the all-important coffee maker was always in the same handy location just inside the galley on the aft side." :Kaleun_Cheers: Splice the caffeine mainbrace!

These forums ARE family friendly and thinly veiled x rated comments need to be thickly veiled in order to get past some of the more edumedicated types that hang out here.
Have you noticed that there is no direct 'flaming' here? There is a reason for that.....We all more or less get along, just like one big happy family. We like it that way, at least I do.
When a moderator says, 'cease and desist' we usually do, instantly. Oh sure there are a few that will try to push the envelope and that is why we have the brig.

NOPE! we're serving our bilge traditional Thanksgiving day feast of Casu Marzu (maggot-laced for fermentationLocals consider it unsafe to eat casu marzu once the larvae have died, so it is served while the translucent white worms, about one-third of an inch long, are still squiggling. Some people clear the maggots from the cheese before consuming it, while others do not. Those who leave the maggots may have to cover the cheese with their hands—when disturbed, the maggots can jump up to six inches.) http://www.culinaryschools.org/cuisine/10-disgusting-delicacies/maggotcheese.jpgAlong-side Minnesota Jellied Moose nose with a delicious Fox bat purreehttp://www.culinaryschools.org/cuisine/10-disgusting-delicacies/batsoup.jpgNaturally the bilge is not under the same restrictions as in France to be served on the Bilge's hardtack biscuit.:up:http://www.oddee.com/_media/imgs/articles2/a98537_cheese_7-strong.jpgDessert will consist of Indonesian Durien (from our last Monson operation:salute:) Pricey, dreadfully bad smelling, its odor is best described as pigsty, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock. yet quite tasty (really once U get past the smell U can't get enough!
