If I start a new career in August/September 1939, it's smooth sailing. But as time progresses I start getting more and more CTDs, until by September 1940 I can't leave Wilhelmshaven without a CTD (either during loading, or within kilometers of leaving the harbor locks).
This is my current mod setup:

Gameplay Settings Realism Adjustment
After (literally) several days of experimenting, the most likely culprit seems to be the WAC5.0 Campaign_Atlantic_Baltic mod. If I do not have that enabled I'm able to create a new career in October 1940 (Type IXB, 2nd Flotilla, Wilhelmshaven) and successfully travel several days without a CTD.
My current system specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB
Adapter Description: AMD Radeon (TM) R7 370 Series
Adapter RAM: 4096 Mbytes
Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Update: I also experience CTDs at times simply pressing F5 (nav map), F7 (crew/station window), or shift-U (mount UZO). For instance, I'm just passing through the outer lock doors and press F5 to examine the map, and the game CTD.

I have a three-monitor setup, and didn't think any of them could run that res. I thought the best I could get was 1600 x 900 . . . but that was the recommended resolution, not the max res. Turns out I can bump that up to 1920 x 1080 . . .

Out of curiosity, especially after again reviewing:
System requirements:
CPU: 3-4GHz CPU –more high frequenzy is better
RAM: 4GB free RAM – more can avoid stuttering
GPU: AMD 7750 and higher or Nvidia GTX660 and higher with 2GB RAM
I decided to run GPU-Z.2.7.0, a spiffy little Video Card Information Utility program, and wow! WAC 5.0 sure is graphics intense! In particular four values greatly change between normal operation and running SH3 WAC: GPU Core Clock, GPU temperature, GPU Load, and VDDC.
During normal operation:
GPU Core Clock: 450MHz
GPU temperature: 59.0 C
GPU Load: 0%
VDDC: .900
During SH3 WAC:
GPU Core Clock: 1050 MHz
GPU temperature: 74-81 C
GPU Load: 72%-100%
VDDC: 1.163
To be fair, I haven't as yet examined the GPU intensity of other supermods, so I don't know how they compare. But HanSolo78 wasn't kidding when he said this was graphics intense! :O:

I've tried it and, so far, I'm really impressed with it. I do have two questions, however:
I no longer can open and close the hatches (shift-H, ctrl-H).
I can't scroll through the messages (ex. "Depth under keel is 20 meters", "No warship sound contact", etc.)

1-open/close hatches (such rise up/down obs persicope) is a graphic animation from full interior mod, it is not included in WS mod
2-You click and drag to the left of the hours (not direct of the hours) or you place the mouse to the left of the hours and you press arrow up or down

The Training missions crash on loading, I only have a black screen whne loading into the campaign (only the HUD) and I only have a black screen in the Museum and the HUD is quite messed up

It is good to install H.s.i.e patch for better realism
But I think this is not relevant to the problem
Should I just do a fresh install I only have the steam version ?
A tutorial would be kinda useful so I won't run into the same issues again because I had some badluck installing the game on my own. I'm not really indepth when it comes to modding silent hunter.
But on a positive node the supermod is awesome when it did work
I just would love to see how much prercentage hull I have left could be slightly useful and a chart for the maximum divng depth aswell

Having a fantastic patrol, over 100K between a heavy cruiser and several tankers, and carefully (carefully, as in over 100Km from ports/harbors, aan hour long and 100KM from last sunk ship, on the surface, etc.) saving as I go. While heading towrds a new patrol grid (at 126x speed, no faster) I suddenly CTD. I try reloading the last saved game . . .
. . . I reach the initializing screen . . .
. . . and CTD.
I've tried 24 times now, and have back-stepped several saves.
I'm rather disgusted at the moment. :/\\!!:damn:

The game is started using SH3Commander, with the WAC_5.0_CommanderMod enabled. Commander itself is set up with minimal selections:
Career options:
Simulate a realistic career length
Simulate realistic crew transfers
Randomize number of days spent in base
Use real ship names in patrol logs
Randomize gramophone tracks
Text Settings: "Hull Integrity %" text: Hide
Gameplay settings:
Use Fatigue Model: GW/GWX 8 Hour
Randomize ship tonnage
Randomize U-boat crush depth
Time Compression: (set to my preferred values)
(The interesting thing that I've noticed is that if I start WAC5.0 using these settings my crew will fatigue, but if I save and (manage to successfully) load the saved game, they no longer experience fatigue)
If it is a new career, I select for "Crew": "Realistic"

Did you have success in a reinstall?
Actually it shows a heavy installation error if naval academy does not work and these display errors show up. Maybe the resolution patch does not work properly with the steam version. Did you try in stock resolution or in windowed mode?
I assume it is due to the steam version.

Might be because of the steam version... I'm launching the game out of the folder anyway

I kinda broke Danzig for me while saving the the bay at 4am on the 1st of september 1939 I just hope it only is danzig and nothing more...
I just have a slight problem with the GUI mod that is included with the mod I don't really know how much Hull percentage I have left (which could be quite useful) and the submarine information on the fly like LSH3 2015 did (range, max diving depth, etc)
Is there another widescreen mod compatible with the super mod ?
But on a more important node: Great work with WAC 5.0 it is really awesome and fun to play, you guys really did a great job imo :Kaleun_Salute:

You play with sh3 commander so it certainly occured because you selected "simulate a realistic carrier length"

It took over 3 hours but they kept finding me over and over again, and hundreds of depth charges later they nickle-and-dimed damaged me to death.
At least that motivated me to finish my depth charge noise mod. :D

MEP6 should work without problems but Makman94 developed a special version for WAC which may bei different. I did never look into this as he released His new version before WAC5.0 release.
I worked a bit on the plane detection for crew in the WAC5.0 development but made no progress in changing sim.cfg and sensors.cfg.
I guess there are more screws to work on.

Have anyone been able to find a fix for the CTD at 90% load a few people seemed to have? I was able to play one patrol. Apparently I broke something, because after that, every time I try to begin a new patrol or a career, the load bar gets stuck and the game crashes a considerable time later. Training missions load up just fine. I have reinstalled the game already a dozen times and tried every imaginable combination of the mod files. Career doesn't load even just the main file activated, no matter if the 4GB patch is applied or not. I have the Steam version and Windows 10, if it matters. This is getting slightly annoying.

Run windows 10 in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
Run all your applications as administrators.

I don't think I explained myself very well.
In this mod there are 2 .sdl files:
File #1: Copy to your Sh3.sdl using S3D.sdl
File#2: Sh3.sdl
My question is about file #1.
Using S3D, you will see that this file has 3 entries. I think the author wanted these lines merged into the stock .sdl file - yes? No?

you can ignore the copy sdl because the 3 sounds inside are the same and are in the sdl.

Five times now I've encounted huge liners (Euroliner, Queen Mary, for example). Five times now I've expended a total of 30 torpedoes without a single hit. All of them are set to run 1.5 - 2.0 meters beneath keel, and (for the ones I've camera-examined) all of them run grossly deeper than the visible keel. I don't have this problem with any other ships, including heavy warships, just the liner class.

Is there any way to solve the ship above horizon bug? I've just started a career out of Kiel on WAC plus the 5.0.1 patch and noticed all the distant ships are hovering quiet a bit.

That 'bug' decision was decided intentionally to avoid the square view when watching from heights:

Also the LOD, the rendered water distance makes some problems in SH3. So I created this environment for 5.0.
But you can use MEP also with WAC.

Just returned from my second patrol (1st one was just a shake-down cruise, so no ships sunk) in October '41, with over 138,000 tons of ships sunk . . . and have a total renown of -4,350.
Because in the dead of night, with reduced visibility, when I surfaced to engage (having expended all torpedoes) I return fired at the guns shooting at me in order to silence them. At one ship I fired once --once, mind you!-- and suddenly rechecked that target to realize it was a Chatham hospital ship.
I hit it once . . . it fired at me first . . . I hit it above the waterline, and started a small fire above deck at the very far end of the stern . . .
. . . it sank 2 hours later.
Evidently I took a massive negative renown shot for that. And I go out of my way to make sure to not even come close to hitting a hospital ship. But whyinhell is a hospital ship armed? And how did it manage to sink after a single 88mm hit above the waterline, abovedeck, at the end of the stern?
I feel seriously robbed here.

Well, it should not be that a ships sinks after one gun hit, but SH3 damage model sometimes is complicated.
In WAC5.0 I added the mod by TDW which adds fires to cause damage. So.. probably here is cause for the sinking ship.
The weapons should be removed for this hospital ship in the next patch.

Any other bugs that should be fixed in the next patch?
Default SH3 bugs excluded.
Ability in SH 3 commander to start patrols out of ports. Because now if you check it it doesint do anything.(And maybe it will fix other people crashing) In commander ability to bring back crew fatique. Yes its not greatly implemented the crew fatique but its better then nothing. Am I only one when I watch through external camera a fire my fps cut's in half or other particles. Make high tonnage targets who travel alone move faster like 13 knots.

Noticed significant performance drop after loading up already started patrol.

Just did "confirmation" test saved game while having sh3 commander. When Rollbacked and all of the problems I mentioned, except crew nervous are gone.

Has anyone been having issues with TC not dropping when receiving radio reports? In my case, it seems to work fine in the torpedo training but will refuse to drop at all in career mode.
EDIT: My bad, turns out this was due to H.sie's "War news", part of the larger H.sie patch.

Observations:
many ships still run illuminated after they become hostile
all glass (ex. plane canopies, binocular lenses) has an odd green hue
crew do not leave their stations once their ship is "sunk"; they wind up riding the ship down under the waves as it sinks
the fireball effect seems to rise way too fast and dissipate way too fast; it's a beautiful effect and rather "realistic", except for its speed.

I quite agree that planes should be more dangerous. However, I've had several instances where, with no warning, I suddenly get a "We're under attack!" followed by bombs, depth charges and/or machine gun fire, yet neither before, during or after do the lookouts actually spot the attacker. This is easily verified by pressing the ">" key, which toggles through first your own U-boat and then any other spotted ships, boats and/or planes: immediately following the aforementioned attack(s), asking the WO for closest visual contact gets the response of "No visual contact", and toggling the ">" key only displays your U-boat.

After examining the multiple CTDs I've been lately experiencing, they seem to fall into one of two categories:
CTD during reloading of a saved game: The game CTDs during loading of a saved game, after getting the "initializing" screen message. This is often caused by a missing "materials" in a .dat file, and a primary cause of this is when a chunk is exported and then imported into a new file, even though the "materials" may be assigned to it, if that is also not exported/imported, the object will spawn/function in game the first time, but it will CTD if the game is saved and reloaded.
CTD in mid-game without warning: The game abruptly CTDs, with no warning or obvious cause, at the same location and date. The only reason for this that I can see is some sort of spawning error, either in .SCR or .RND.
In the latter case, I have had two instances where the game crashed at the same location and point in time. The last time was Apr 21, 1942, just of the west coast of Ireland. Three times in a row the game CTD at that date/time/location, and I could see nothing that would cause that to occur.
In the former, I have no idea where to even begin looking for errors. I think it may have something to do with one of the aircraft, since I've noticed that after having shot several down, saved the game then tried to reload, I've CTD-ed.

Something has to be going on. Getting a CTD three times in a row on the same date and roughly the same hour, at the same location? That's not coincidence.

I've only just started examining files, starting with air units.
AFB_Beaufighter, ADB_USDiveBomber, and ADB_JU87Stuka seemed OK.
AFB_****e_Wulf_FW_190A5 has chunks out of sequential order, and chunks 27, 32, 46, 51, 70 and 75 have missing materials.
AFB_Fulmar has chunk 52 missing materials.
That's as far as I've gone so far.
What was causing the CTD on loading a saved game with my depth charge noise mod was a missing material, and what happens here is exactly what happened there (CTD after a pause at the "initializing" screen) so I started checking to see if any of the units were missing materials.
I'm more than happy to either assist examining all the air and sea units, or just doing it solo.

Had a quick look into the other planes and found some which had missing materials, as well as materials with higher numbers than the nodes:

Not sure about the ship model; hard sometimes to ascertain that when in the middle of combat. :oops:

Also, take a look at NKLSS_Hansa. Chunk 2 and 6 are texture names, and are calling the same texture, but only chunk 2 has an embedded image. Along with that, chunk 15 and 18 (haven't checked all of them) calls out both texture chunks, and I have no idea if that's a problem, especially when one of the two is missing its embedded image.
I think all the sea and air units need to be double-checked for duplicate and/or missing textures, embedded images and missing materials. If you like, I'll start with the air units.

With the problems with missing Materials I am with you that it produces ctd. But for the missing textures I dont think so. I created new models and user this method to reduce memory consumption. Why having the same texture twice?
I never had any problems in my testings...
With the airfolder I am done... would be a great help if you habe the time to look into the ships backwards on. I will start with the first ones.

This has to do with the material attributes in the .dat file of the model.
Have a look into them and compare with other models.
The Pyro class has a bug, it's first artillery gun is positioned almost fully into the deck...

Question does wac 5.0 have special controls like for opening doors and etc (for the full interior mode extra thinge ) and if so what are those controls couldint find any where saying what they where
The controls are there but you have to use the full interior add-on to get all of them and right now there is a problem with it. But when Han gets it solved you can open and close the hatches with Shift + H and Ctrl + H.
Without full interiors the controls are Shift + V/Ctrl + V for the DF antenna, Shift + R/Ctrl + R for the Radar, Shift + F/Ctrl + F for the flag and Shift + N/Ctrl + N for the UZO. Hope that helps.

Had 5 back-to-back CTDs, at the same date/time/position. Thankfully I'd just made a recent save (and, just as thankfully, I hadn't been depth charged and/or bombed yet) so I could reload the career.
It was 19420212, around 0300, when I'd CTD. I'd just received several hours earlier: "C in C Submarinese@^Submarine Forces at sea^|Operation Cerberus begins. Battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau and Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen with escorts are leaving Brest harbour for German seas. All submarines in the area of the British Channel must be ready to help the Operation.||Bdu". I was located in BF26, as previousl;y directed.
It wasn't until I'd stepped down TC to 8X that the CTD went away, and within a minute a contact report appeared: Friendly task force.
I'm guessing that the task group consisting of Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Prinz Eugen, and escorts, were spawning, and thus the cause of the CTD.
Thing is, I don't know ahead of time when/where/if a group is spawning close to me, and so it being a necessity of dropping TC to 8x. I got lucky this time in that I'd had a (successfully loadable!) game save within an hour of the CTD point, and I simply can't play the game full-time at 8x. For instance, I'm currently leaving Lorient for CA53, a distance that, at ahead one-third (the most fuel-efficient) will take me 434 hours game-time . . . which is 54.25 real-life hours!
I understand that, due to the size/complexity of the ships in WAC that a CTD when a convoy/task group spawns close to you at higher TC is inevitable. But is there a way of forcing a drop to TCx1 just before spawning (scripted or random)? Yes, that kind of gives away that "something is afoot". But I'd rather that small bit of immersion-kill than the total and complete kill of a CTD.

I have found a little quirk with using SH3Commander and WAC. If I save a game and then reload it (assuming I don't get a CTD doing so, of course! :haha::O:) some of the options do not carry through. So far they seem to be the "Gameplay Settings" ones.
For instance, if I have a fatigue model chosen, I experience crew fatigue up to the point of save-and-reload, at which point fatigue stops. If I have chosen to hide hull integrity, I do not see hull integrity up to the point of save-and-reload, at which point I can now see hull integrity again.
I have no idea about other "Gameplay Settings" options, like "Model effects" and "Randomise U-boat crush depth", since they are not easily changed-identifiable or -detectable while playing.

Hi guys, i just installed WAC 5.01 with the big all in one download cause i dont trust myself:haha:. But im having issues. I installed WAC, loaded it up and it worked fine. Then i added some more mods. Heres my list:

I loaded up the game once via SH3 Commander (with the mod installed there too) and i loaded up a career at the 2nd flotilla and it worked, i was in the game and then i accidentally pressed alt+F4 and then it exited. Now every time i load up the game, it crashed when i reach the loading screen to start the patrol. It also crashes when i hit exit game too. What is wrong and what can i do?
I do have the 4 gig patch installed.

I found out why the game crashes with commander, its because something is wrong with the rolling back. If i rollback the game will crash, but if i dont roll back it wont crash. What does rolling back do? Also my game crashed in the middle of playing too.
Now i rolled back and it worked too. Idk what the cause is. Does anyone know?

Alright, thank you. I’m fiddling with it. It has something to do with rolling back. Sometimes it crashes with or without rolling back. I can’t seem to find a pattern. But so far I am able to play. I’m sailing through the North Sea and came across two floating wrecks of ships and have them the coup de grace.

I do use SH3Commander. Be aware there is a special version required to use for WAC, and a special way of installing and running it.
Even so, I do occasionally experience the random CTD when using Commander. I just had one three days ago, when starting the fifth patrol with my current Kaleun. I'd updated my patrol logs and crew lists for the forth patrol with SH3Commander, then started SH3 using SH3Commander, then awarded promotions, medals and qualifications in-game before starting the 5th patrol . . . and CTD.
Eight times.
I started SH3 using SH3Commander only the first time, and for the next 7 started using Sh3.exe. So the ninth time once I started SH3 I backed up the load game selection to the "after mission in base" (not sure of the exact wording) from the forth patrol, re-awarded promotions, medals, etc., then started the 5th patrol again . . .
Voila!
So SH3Commander (even using the special version for WAC) did something that SH3/WAC did not like. What that is, I have no clue.
I do know that WAC seems to act funny with Commander. For instance, if I select the GWX 8 hour fatigue model, when the game starts my crew experiences fatigue. If, however, I then save and load, they stop getting fatigued. I have no idea what else might be effected. For instance, I also have "Malfunctions & Sabotage" selected; I have no way of verifying if any malfunctions or sabotage effects are cleared if I save and reload. The same with randomized crush depth . . . which I have no intention of discovering my U-boat's crush depth! :haha:
So, no, you aren't the only one experiencing this. I don't think anyone, at this point in time, as any real clue what is causing the CTD when using SH3Commander.

I'd updated my patrol logs and crew lists for the forth patrol with SH3Commander, then started SH3 using SH3Commander, then awarded promotions, medals and qualifications in-game before starting the 5th patrol . . . and CTD.
Eight times.
I started SH3 using SH3Commander only the first time, and for the next 7 started using Sh3.exe. So the ninth time once I started SH3 I backed up the load game selection to the "after mission in base" (not sure of the exact wording) from the forth patrol, re-awarded promotions, medals, etc., then started the 5th patrol again . . .
Voila!
So SH3Commander (even using the special version for WAC) did something that SH3/WAC did not like. What that is, I have no clue.
I do know that WAC seems to act funny with Commander. For instance, if I select the GWX 8 hour fatigue model, when the game starts my crew experiences fatigue. If, however, I then save and load, they stop getting fatigued. I have no idea what else might be effected. For instance, I also have "Malfunctions & Sabotage" selected; I have no way of verifying if any malfunctions or sabotage effects are cleared if I save and reload. The same with randomized crush depth . . . which I have no intention of discovering my U-boat's crush depth! :haha:
So, no, you aren't the only one experiencing this. I don't think anyone, at this point in time, as any real clue what is causing the CTD when using SH3Commander.
Where can i find the special version? The link in the 2nd post is just for a mod to go along with it.

Sh3 commander is such a good tool. Its a pity something in this mega mod is breaking it when so many other mega mods have successfully used it.

The problem with the radio message sounds like a stock problem.

This is definitely a particle effect from another mod installed over WAC5.01.
Maybe you screwed your installation if it is still present after uninstalling the other mods.
Disable radio messages by deleting the text files in data/campaigns/campaign.

I know where it is located, and where it comes from. I'm used to seeing that particular message only when I've been out of torpedoes, very low on fuel, or badly damaged, so I'd assumed it was set to transmit only during those, or similar, parameters.

I have experienced that problem when I changed the DC Rack from the SH4 to the Stock-Version.
After changing it back the problem disappeared...

It may be possible that the Real ASW mod is what is causing the problem with the DC racks/missing guns; I'll have to experiment with that and see. As to reporting bugs that don't exist, I don't know which ones you're meaning, and, as I've noted, I don't see any reason for my installation to have bugs anyway. Hopefully, between the two of us, we can figure it out.

I have found it to be a graphical wonder, yes. As to mission focus? . . . To me, it's the same as the campaign structure of the original SHIII, but with additional, in-game missions.

Like the name says... WarAceCampaign has als always focused on the campaign! I still claim that WAC has the most detail campaign files concerning the war operations that are simulated.
But all in all many files were changed over the years.
If you ask for special realism settings I can answer you if there were changes made.
Realism is a big theme.. for example.. the stock and all other supermods offer a wrong type IX conning towers (too low). WAC5.0 uses Wise´s corrected conning towers.
Or the wrong harbour positions... WAC has correct harbour positions.
But in other aspects WAC may not be realism related. Depends what you ask for!

If your patrol start before some country entered the war, the ship is illuminated and will be that way until the end of the ship final destination or end of your patrol, even if that country meanwhile enter the war. For the game, there is no illuminated ships, it is just ship with parameters in .cfg from what date to what date to be used.
For me the solution is, to make the start date for normal ships and the end date for the illuminated duplicate to be not historical, but 5 days to 2 weeks earlier (depend of the remoteness of the country). This reduces such meetings with illuminated ships that are already at war.

Hi guys
Started a new campaign in wac 5.01 and found a big convoy with a lot of escorts in heavy weather.
Noticed that after a while some dd's such as River destroyer escort ( half was under surface and sailing,
with 5 knots type M---3 of them had sunk unexpected. Instead of Clemson - v&w hunt 1 were OK
In your opinion that matter has to do with ship sim file?

Feedback:
Still some problems with ships' draft depth differing between recognition manual and actual draft depth*. For instance, I ran across a "small freighter, old" (NKSCS_Taihosan) in zero m/s windspeed weather. The manual gave a draft of 5.5 meters; the .cfg file is "Draft=5.48"; the .sim file shows a surfaced "draught=3.0". A torpedo set at 5.0 depth still ran under, so it appears the actual depth is 3.0 and not 5.5.
Surface ship crew still remains on deck, instead of 'abandoning', after "ship destroyed" message.
Experiencing occasional unexplained CTD even as low as 64x TC.
Otherwise it looks very good, very stable! I do run a few mods, which may or may not influence things, but I try to keep them to a minimum when testing the patches for you. Nothing I post is meant as criticism, but, instead, to provide information.

*PL_EuroLiner is another with different values: .cfg draft=7.5, and .sim draught=0.0. Haven't checked them all; if you'd like me to I can do so.

This mod adds missing draft and displacement values, and/or adjusts previously existing ones, to match the ones in the museum/recognition manual.
After having missed quite a few high-value targets due to under-running torpedoes (even during perfect, clear, calm weather) I started looking into things, especially when a torpedo set to run 2 meters above the keel actually passed just underneath. I discovered a lot of ships had missing or incorrect draft values.
For ships that had museum entries ([ship]_en.log) I used those values and updated, as needed, the .cfg and .sim values for draft and displacement. When there was no [ship]_en.log file, I used the values in the .cfg file.
Please let me know if you encounter anything unusual.
This mod updates the ships in the latest WAC release; I have no idea about any other mod.
Hansolo please update widescreen for patch 5.2 it overwrites some files and it doesint work properly

Tried full interiors with full hd and stripped out harbours everything ok for now using Type VIIC. It crashes then trying to load up a patrol. :( I wonder what if we left the interiors in but the animated crew would be removed?

when i dive to the periscope depth and rise the periscope,it became the picture showes,how to fix it?

This is the "Periscopes Fix" feature of the H.sie patch. It causes the periscope to blur at speeds higher than 4 knots. It can be disabled with the H.sie options selector.

If I want to uninstall existing GWX and install WAC5.0, how do I do that? seems GWX can't be uninstalled?

Not sure what's up with the Hunt III destroyer, but it seems to be indestructable? I encountered it just after a save, so this actually happened to me twice, once originally, and the second time after reloading the save:
Perfect weather, ideal AoB, within 2,000 meters, with the torpedo set at ~4.2, based upon the draft of 3.7. Goes off just below the keel, and rocks the dessie like a toy (see below) . . . and nothing.
Dessie just keeps cruising along and, in fact, keep going in a straight line as if nothing at all had happened.

Hi,
I have some questions about WAC5.01 without the campaigns (due to crashes on patrol loading). Especially how i have to deal with the HSIE-patch in this case and the correct order of mod installation/activation.
My installation/activation order at the moment (with atlantic-baltic-campaign):
1. SH3
2. 1.4b Patch
3. NoCD (dont know if necessary, other mods recommend it)
4. 4GB-Patch
5. installed JSGME
6. hsie-patch (patched the sh3.exe > started selector > copied the patched .exe into the "supplement for the atlantic-baltic-campaign"-folder)
7. installed and activated WAC
8. activated campaign
9. activated supplement altlantic-.... (see 6.)
10. activated ahnenerbe widescreen (optimized)
11. activated direct zoom
My first question is, can I use my patched/modified "supplement for the atlantic-balic-campaign-folder" (as I did at step 6) for an installation with the stock campaign or is it necessary to individualize it as required in the hsie readme (adding the new messages, Adding the AI-Subs for the Wolfpack Mod)?
Second question, which install/activation order you would recommend for WAC5.01 with stock campaign, hsie, ahnenerbe WS + direct zoom?

Fo stock campaign and H.sie pacth you need to rework the stock campaign files for wolf packs like in the h.sie manual mentioned.

WAC5 Steel Sharks Campaign
Our GWX-Gold Campaign is in its final year so what then what do the steel sharks clan do for a new Campaign we looked at all Options and as a group we decided on WAC5 I know its a lot of work writing a new campaign for Wac5 but its fun putting in all those convoys in the Scr scripted layer of the SH3 Mission Editor as and when I have wrote upto December 1940 I will upload it to subsim
to share it with all and then just update the download as I add another years worth of convoys

WAC5 Escorts how to make them more aggressive then I had cani idea I made a backup of the config folder in the data folder of wac5 then I replaced the original with the GWX Gold config file and run the Happytime mission and the escorts are more aggressive just like in GWX nice :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

Hi ericlea I tried that just using those three files the AI_Sensors wow it solved the problem of the exploding Flower Class Corvet when it drops A string of 6-8 dc's it didn't get out of the way quick enough and blew its self up now it doesn't
do that any more.

Finally pulled myself away from my old favorites (GWX & NYGM) and gave WAC 5.01 a try. HanSolo78 and those that helped you I appreciate your hard work and I am really enjoying your mega mod:up:
I installed WAC a couple of weeks ago and it has been rock steady stable with no CTD to date. I have only had one problem and it is minor and does not happen all the time. Sometimes when I switch to the bridge station The uniforms and faces of the bridge crew seem to take on a neon glow appearance. Sometimes exiting the bridge to another station then coming back the crew appears normal. Sometimes going to mouse look then clicking to lock the view gets rid of it.
I am guessing that it is related to my current video driver or some setting on my Nvidia control panel I have overlooked. If any one else has had this problem and knows how to fix it I'd appreciate knowing how you did it.
Using a GTX 960M 4Gb card and 16gb of memory

In a few weeks I plan to install WAC 5.0-5.01. Honestly, I have followed this post since WAC 5.0 was released. I understand things are changed and improvements are made. I have gone back and reread post from pg 1 to the current last pg. With that being said, I would appreciate if a few users, could post their WAC 5.0-5.01 mod list set-up's. I see the same thing, it only happens occasionally, and if I just move around to different views, everything is fine again.
I have very similar specs as you do.

i have a question : is it not possible to use the full interior mod together with a widescreen mod due to RAM limitations that may cause a CTD or they are simply not compatible ?

It is because of RAM problems. Maybe it will be possible to reduce usage. But to rework the interiors is a lot of work. Maybe if I am bored in the winter :Kaleun_Wink:

i was wondering , if i play the Mediterranean campaign only, does the game uses the same amount of RAM as in the Atlantic/ Baltic one ?
