I think Anvar is right. The game does appear to hang but in reality it's still loading. My load takes around 8 minutes to finish.

I don't know what is happening, but I have a weird problem ground textures. All objects like ports, trees, buildings - they are there, but the ground itself is completely black. It's the same color eveywhere, that looks more like the lack of color. Also underwater, it's really impossible to see the ground.

Well, if anyone is still interested in that, I found a temporary solution to the terrain textures problem. In your WAC 5.0 main mod you go to:

data: then Terrain

In "Terrain", you delete everything except for Maps and Locations. This is not fully tested but for now, I'm gonna be playing the game like that. I know this is not a perfect solution. But uninstalling, redownloading the mod, ereasing all files of sh3 and all that didn't help for me so hopefully this will.

OK, I solved the problem where after the opening movie you get black screen with music, from this post:

Basically you have to run the game without the widescreen mod, then go into the game video options and turn on Synchronization. Then exit the game, enable the widescreen mod, and everything works.

Yes, the game is STILL loading at that point. Best just to leave the game and wait. It does load. I had the same issue until I left it alone. Don't click mouse or push keys as this can cause crash during loading. Just leave it to load in peace. It can take about 10-15 minutes sometimes.

Are you going to let everyone else know what the fix is if you have now fixed the issue? I'm sure plenty of others would appreciate that.

I just had a post in the general SH3 topics, anyone using Windows 10 Creator must use a specific GPU driver to overcome blackscreens and related glitches in SH3. Then, you must set sh3.exe to compatibility mode for Windows 7.
I don't know for certain that this is the trouble you refer, but I hope this will help some of you. Here the link of the post telling about the procedure and the specific driver:

If I were in this situation I would despair, because changing GPU driver only to run a specific game is a no-go, unless your computer world is made of SH3... So I really hope there are other solutions.

I don't have any problems with game loading, everything is working fine. I think you need to have a powerful pc for WAC5.
This fix was for the sinking destroyers in bad weather..
I did what itadriver has suggested:

"Open zone.cfg
Go to
[NEFloodB]
Change
Crash Depth=20 (or more)

If the problem persist, you must change the LR and UD values in every DD sim file.
I use LR=0,03 and UD=0,005.
I don't have the file ready (my zone.cfg has been modified for my surface mod).

But that didn't work for me so i changed the Crash Depth=50 and i did that to all compartments of a destroyer and merchant in zone.cfg file. I tested it and it works, also there are no side-effects.

Btw. has anyone noticed that the periscopes are still working even when they are destroyed?
I think this is a bug.

This game doesn't even support multi-core, that's the main problem, and cannot be changed.

And you are implicitly saying your SH3+WAC5.01 starts a mission in no time? Sorry, such responses are not helpful for us others, and I don't believe you...Or: what are your 'great' computer specs?

This game doesn't support multi-core, that's the main problem, also my processor starts at minimum power when loading the game and remains at minimum power by reading the *low* game requirements...

I have an 6 year old 2600k and eything works great with windows 10... native desktop resolution set to 1920x1080 and running Ahnenerbe or Manos GUI in that res too.

thanks to tell your config. My config is the same in Win 7 Pro x 64 with 'run as Admin' and a changed desktop to 1280x1024 to start the game (otherwise CTD). It's only that I have

Synchronized=No

in the main.cfg, but changing that makes no difference, and setting the video from 1024x800 to the maximum 1280x1024 doesn't change anything either.

How long does it take you to load one of the single missions? Not the tutorial missions, these are loading in no time, but everything else takes terribly long to load. And it's the only problem i have, everything looks beautiful and correct in the game after.

With your settings, and with my above limitation to start the game in 1280x1024 (which is not important because only the d3d9.ini resolution is), after restarting computer fresh, it takes me 4 minutes 20 seconds to load the "XXI Erprobung" mission.
Ahnenerbe's fix has some glitches when mousing over some u-boat locations, they don't always work, but that's it, no other trouble to mention.

Don't mistake me: it's fully worth waiting that long, because you get to see a really awesome game after :up:
I hope you can somehow diminsh that loading time.

My Nvidia Control Panel settings for scaling are:
Fullscreen with Display (not by GPU).

Question about Manos WidescreenGUI:

I find this GUI in Widescreen perfect on my computer system, the u-boat interiors seem larger than in the Ahnenerbe's GUI, or is it that the Crew is smaller ? Whatsoever, the whole interior looks much more immersive, this is a very good solution for common 1920x1080 monitors when setting the scaling to fullscreen like in my case.

Now, I'm afraid I'm only a beginning player, so no question that I'm using auto-TDC only (at least to start with). Can this be done with Manos GUI?

Also, is there a way to set the icons on the navigation map to show again the bearing of the vessels and other full information like in the stock game? I would then load it as 'Beginner_icons' and revert once I'm a better player :)

mano's widegui is very good and works on portable computer too but we cannot move freely on the deck. perhaps a modder can rectify that in the "Cameras.dat" folder ?

About that bug where you can use periscopes even when they are destroyed.
Looks like the problem is in the "Objects" folder, I have replaced that folder from another mega mod and now everything works.
If I find out what exactly was the problem I will post it here.

Has anyone been able to get SH3 Commander Lite 'start as sea' option to work with WAC5.01. When I have this option selected it crashes to desktop when starting mission. Otherwise I have no crashes to desktop when I use the below mods.

Problems here. :)

When the bases are set to these or other dates (i have set Lorient as new basis on july 1940), when i end the patrol there (on 3rd July 1940 for example) it only shows me the Karrierenverlauf screen as i have been killed and ends the career immediately.

What can be done with this? :)

Interesting is that i tried to dock in other harbors (Brest for example) and its always the same, even near tanker U-Gelting.

So practically after the base-switch to Lorient (happened during my patrol on 1st July 1940) i am not able to dock and end the patrol in any harbor... :hmmm:

1. I've found the CNTL F11 (Screen capture) does not work properly. MS Paint does not recognize the type of file created. When I use GIMP or other types of graphic enhancing pgms, the screen capture file is viewable but distorted.

2. Also, are there any Canal OUT, IN focus buttons when sailing out of Kiel? I've not been able to locate any in the documentation.

Other than the above two items, WAC v.5.0 is Fantastic. Well Done!

Did you test without the 1940 mod ? the same basis switch but in 1941 ?

I could fix the problem but now I have a new one:doh: everytime i try to load a game. Be it career, single mission...anything! I get a message saying something like: "no c-boat torpedo ctrl". NO idea what that means. Its like my pc wants to keep me from playing this awesome mod :/\\!!

Weird... Did you rename your Install folder to a different name than the first one? Also delete the SH3 folder in documents before a new installation.
It still sounds like an installation problem! Try just WAC5.0 ad Patch 5.01.

Hopefully you will be successful!

What is the solution?
I used revo uninstaller pro to get rid of all remains of SH3 when doing a new installation. One question remains. In the "submarines" folder there is a type VIIA sub. Is it really playable? Because if yes, I cant seem to find it.:hmmm: Plus: Would it be possible to make a VIIB tower with wave-breaker but without that hideous second flak emplacement?

Does anyone have a problem keeping their DF antenna raised? I certainly do. Hit Shift + V and it stays up for about 20, 30 seconds and it goes back down. Just a minor thing though. Just wondering. Han it's a great mod.

That depends on what is your favorite taste. I created this water in purpose and it is my taste. For this issue there are several other colours available in my mediafire account.
For the water explosion I have to look for the responsible texture. Maybe it is enough to darken it.

Some thoughts and questions about Campaign start in WAC5.01:

It's a good idea to implement a 'shooting exercice' region to start your first patrol, but you don't get any messages (radio messages?) when the war breaks out (attack of Poland at 1 August 1939, if I'm right).
Usually you get back to Kiel at 5 August 1939 or so and stay for 20+ days in the port. Isn't it so that when you start the campaign in this way you will also miss some real historical war encounters against polish or english warships or convoys? I did my first patrol with a Type II boat in the 1. Flotilla from Kiel to patrol AF83, I never had the impression to be at war, all targets were green and neutral well after August 1.

The war didn't start until September 1st 1939. That's why everything is still neutral or friendly in August.

Well... there are some good features.
But all in all WAC5.0 is full of features and my Priorität now is getting FHD resolution working with füll interiors.
A shame nobody can recommend Sh3.exe to a 64 bit version. Then we could more Features!

Hi Eric!

Well... I worked on this the last weeks and made progress in saving memory, so you can start a career with FHD & Full Interior activated. So I had to delete some things as the new flag animations or the pennants or some trinagle heavy harbour buildings like the factorys.
Unfortunately I thought this would be the big problem but sometimes I get CTD when using type IX interior if I use F7 crew screen or do other things.
Dont know what the problem is... if you want you can test! I quit in testing this for now.

Sorry to bring bad news, but the game just crashes for me.
I have followed all instructions.
As soon as I start a game, the loading bar stops at 90% and the game crashes to desktop.

Any ideas?

No, it doesn't and neither single missions work. It loads about 20% and then crashes, while campaigns load until 90%, as other people mentioned in the first posts.
I am digging this huge thread, and I might have done a couple of mistakes (hopefully):
- Manually dragging WAC folder to MODS instead of extracting straight there.
- Applying 4GB patch after installing the mod.

Anyway I'm starting from scratch.
Hope to find a solution soon

1 - go to sh3.exe properties : choose compatibility "w7" and "run as administrator"

2 - active only "WarAceCampaign 5.0" with jsgme

3 - test a naval academy mission

if that works then all will work !

- Disable all mods / Re-enable WAC 5.0
- Naval career and campaign show correct textures
BUG: Submarines now always spawn on land - sub destroyed- end of the mission.

TEST 2: failure
- Restored original status
BUG: Black screen on startup, game crash on main menu load

TEST 3: failure
- Verified game cache
BUG: Game will not start anymore.

Well, I think your installation ist totally screwed.
I recommend a clean new installation, with first deleting by deinstaller, then manually delete also files in the document folder and the last files that we're mit deleted in the SH3 Installation.

Now, make a new installation:

-choose a different folder name, then before
-install SH 3 and Patch 1.4b if not included
-use files to delete copy Protektion
-patch SH3.exe with 4gb Patch
-install JSGME
-download all 4 WAC5.0 Files and Patch 5.01
-extract the main Mod WAC5.0 and compare with the readme for files and folder Numbers
-copy the WarAceCampaign 5.0 folder with the data folder in the subdirectory to the JSGME Mod folder
-activate the main mod
-activate the patch also with JSGME after extracting and copying
-use W xp compability for SH3.exe
-activate vsync in driver & SH3

Ok, after countless hours behind the desk, I can finally say I have a fix for the black textures bug: It's video card related.

Alright. Its this exact conning-tower version that would be nice to have for the VIIB sub. This version with a larger wave-breaker (the horizontal plate) was introduced shortly after the war broke out. Sorry for any previous misunderstandings.

WAC is wonderful, also the Optimized Ahnenerbe's GUI has very good features, but PLEASE make the mouse clicks work correctly to move between stations! Only modders can do this.

Why?
To bypass the problem I'm using the Manos GUI and put all interiors back to vanilla, but this certainly has restrictions that the Ahnenerbe GUI or the modded interiors don't have, also I cannot use the new keyboard functions when doing so :=(
I'm astonished that nobody ever speaks about this problem (I have searched the forums)...What is the point of a lot of improvements in a mod if the main interface is screwed-up? That ruins immersion of the game a lot IMO (*). Or are you guys all playing in 4:3 with borders, and you don't see the problem?

(*): What is 'immersion' in this case? Using F4 to move to the bridge from the command room is less 'immersive' than using the mouse to go through the stations: Go to upper room, open hatch, go to bridge. I mean: these rooms and hatches are there for a reason or please: mod them away to save memory, but then I could as well play Silent Service 2, no need for 3D rooms, even AOD is better in this regard: all mouse clicks WORK...

1) a modder cannot correct wrong mouseclicks in the GUIs (what about writing a correct 'commands_en.cfg or commands_de.cfg' ?)
2) No one has ever noticed this problem ?

This is hard to believe, so in your story something is missing...
I think modders should play the game more instead of modding so they can notice certain things not working. Or maybe just not, and that's why I'm reporting and making a WAC request here (maybe at the wrong place, if so sorry), I'm a player, not a modder :)

I have WAC 5.0 installed and only the VIIA and model 1943 (at the bottom of the graphic) with said second flak gun seem to be available for the type VIIB submarine.

I was hoping that the version submarines like U-46 under the command of Engelbert Endrass were using, as seen in the video below, would be in game for the VIIB. Wich is basicly slimmer version of a VIIC tower:

Suggestion (maybe once you got the time...): Maybe change the observation periscope (that one from below) to have a larger view like historically accurate, but I really like your precise zooming, great work :=)

What the hell I'm doing wrong? This is my modlist and the game didn't start in FullHD after enabling "WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe", just stock resolution streched to 16:9 with oval circles. Checked normal Ahnenerbe WideGui and it works fine.

Yes, good question from Nik, because I'm currently trying to figure out how WAC handles not-normal returns to bases, e.g. what happens exactly if you try to dock on allied ports, on neutral ports, Milk Cows; what do you get there as resupply, does it even work without crashes ?.

I guess you are using SH3 Commander. Read the pdf it explains the NULL thing (just search the word), but I dunno if it's related to your problem.

3/ quit the game and again to jsgme -enabled the mod
4/ started the game -bought the ixb sub+personel etc and when i pressed the button to start the mission poped up a message saying that the base its in Lorient.---ok
The red line started to the right-Found myself in sub but i was in Wilhelmshaven

Facepalm, inside WideScreensGUI folder I had another main mod folder, not data files. I didn't even enabled it. Now everything works fine.

BTW, I didn't made H.sie as JSGME folder, I've patched main game exe so it's always before any mods. I see that some users implemented it in JSGME and positioned after main WAC mods. Should I do the same?

Is there some documentation or readme's about what's in the campaign of WAC 5.01, or maybe still the docs from WAC 4 do apply? Where could I download these separately if available?
I remember in the early versions of WAC there was something called 'Events in SH3' describing historical operations included in WAC campaign.

I'm asking because I use SH3 Commander and would like to synchronize my patrol sorties to meet such historical events.

I tried a IXc career and when it loaded my crew reported the hydrophone was destroyed. Kind of like the old radar destroyed problem long ago. Hit F7 and sure enough my hydrophone was destroyed. Any ideas? I have tried a VIIb and c as well as the IXb and the IXc is the only one that has had that glitch.

Well.. I believe that the SH3 commander start is responsible for this problem.
Also the basic.cfg says availability 7/1941.

Well I tried it and no glitches to report. I just remembered, while I was waiting for the campaign to load, that I have," malfunction and sabotage" enabled in SH3 commander. Maybe that was it.

TypeIXc is working great. I think that my hydrophone was either a victim of sabotage or just plain broke. So I guess that means that particular SH3 Commander option works. That's pretty cool. Damn French resistance!!!

I think that the Kiel courses have to be plotted from the black dots at either end of the canal and not from your initial starting position.

That's how it works with GWX, but it doesn't seem to work with WAC; I did try it from the "blue dot" at each end that marks the locks, but that didn't work.

I am not sure then. I don't ever use the pre plotted courses for the canal. I just plot them myself. I just assumed that's what those dots were for.

I've been playing GWX for years, and honestly love it. However, it has one serious flaw for me: I cannot save a game and reload it; it constantly CTD if I try and load a saved game. Considering I usually play a max TC of 128, a single patrol can sometimes take me several real-time weeks to run. I sometimes (rarely, admittedly) get a CTD or freeze during a patrol, and sometimes a BSoD when I try and sleep or hibernate the PC, so losing a 8-12 day long patrol due to an inability to save and load a game has, frankly, made GWX unplayable/unenjoyable to me now.

I've heard that WAC is a good variant, so I've decided to try it. So far it seems pretty positive. Love the exquisite graphics! Here are some observations/feedback I have:

1) It takes forever getting in and out of harbors/ports, or near them. Unless I decide to change the default TC, I'm stuck at 8x for a very long time getting out to sea.

2) I keep getting a repetitive "No officer at helm station" even when there is an officer there.

3) Sound/voices aren't a consistent volume: some sounds are low, others are screechingly high. (I'm not talking about "panicked" voices, as those are going to be louder)

4) I would like to be able to "lock" the interface so that it remains displayed.

5) There seems to be a minor mismatch on the graphics of the interface; sometimes when I click on a "command" the messages just above move instead. As well, it is a copper-plated b*tch to scroll through the messages; I can't just click to display the last one, instead I have to select a new command to have the messages reset to the latest one.

6) More of a FYI: in a Type VII, the helm officer's position sometimes has him stand with a pole through him, other times his left foot is in a box of food (As I said, this is an FYI; I understand the difficulties in working with the animations).

7) No ability (that I can see) to easily set a course based relative to the boat as compared to compass true. (For instance, if I want to set course 36 degrees relative to my current course).

8) No ability (that I can see) to quickly return to center bridge view/position.

9) No shortcut to UZO view.

10) Seem unable to enter the conning tower any more.

11) Extremely difficult to see flags and identify them, even in clear weather. At 1,000 meters using binoculars, UZO and/or 10x attack periscope, I cannot identify flags.

-Harbours are very big sind detailed in WAC
It could be made a 'start at sea' add in for some (all) harbours.

-never got that message, wondering a Bit

-About the voices and their difference I know
I have never been an audio ace in SH3.

Hi schlechter_pfennig. Just on the "No Officer at the Helm Station" thing, whilst I don't use WAC, I have had this happen before when a keyboard command has multiple entries in the Commands_en.cfg file. For instance, I had it happening when I used "PgUp" & "PgDn" for raising/lowering the periscope, even though all officers were at their stations, because some other commands were using those keys too.

If this message appears only when you're using particular keyboard commands, you might check that file for other commands using the same keys.

I love the animations of the flags, I really do. But for some reason they are absolutely unseeable at night, even when I've zoomed to the ship and have positioned the camera within meters of the flag. If I use the mod "Flags_enlighten" they become very visible.

I've spent several hours experimenting, editing the flag.dat and flagS.dat files so that their settings match those in the "Flags_enlighten" mod (specifically the materials attributes settings [emissive], and the chunk "flag_N.tga") but that doesn't have any effect on the flag visibility.

Hopefully if you examine the "Flags_enlighten" mod you'll be able to figure out why that brightens up the flags, because I haven't been able to figure that out.

UPDATE: I've fixed the files so that the flags are brighter; the "emissive" setting just had to be cranked very high. At the moment the values I'm using are probably too bright, so after I experiment a bit and find a happy medium I'll upload the mod that'll brighten the flags up to a reasonable value.

The game paused bug was fixed with inserting the [TimeCompression] section from a working SH3 installation into C:\...\Documents\wac\data\cfg\main. Namely RealTime=1 needs to be set.

Yes they are the same files as in gwx, LSH and CCOM.

In WAC, with these patterns, there are some waypoints which are too much near the banks.

But you find the right track !

With a little of work we will be able to reposition the bad waypoints in the patterns files :)

I got a question or two, are radio messages real deal or just scripted? I got the radio message something like eyes only go in med and wait for further orders...is that mediterranean? Because i was playing in Campaign_Atlantic_Baltic in 1941 and there is nobody in mediterranean. So anyway i merged the two campaigns together and i just want to say that for me its completely stable so far, no crashes or anything like that.

I prefer "meat" in a sim; that is, given a choice between "eye candy" and a detailed, realistic simulation, I'll go with realism over pretty every time. However, with WAC I get both! :)

The explosions, fire, smoke, are amazing. The external and internal sub images are fantastic. Granted, I can't do anything as I walk through, but I don't actually mind that. I'd like it if I could, but I certainly understand why with SH3 that ain't gonna happen.

Having said that, I'd like to pass along some observations and suggestions. To begin with, this is my current mod setup:

SH3 patched, and then H.sie_V16B1 patched.

* I find WAC 5.0 to be stable for the most part; I've had only 2 CTD during a patrol. I can usually, but not always, load saved games without CTD. Oddly enough if I do CTD trying to load a saved game, I can get it to load on the second (or third), attempt. The load times are a pain, but no worse that GWX Gold, and, unlike GWX Gold, I can actually load saved games.

* I run graphics settings at max, and get no stuttering except when close to ports and trying to run a TC greater than 32-64, which is understandable. The external camera is "iffy": it often acts buggy. Sometimes it's not centered on the ship/plane, and you wind up somewhere up in the sky or under the water.

* SH3Commander light will CTD me every time. It'll start WAC but once I start the mission itself I CTD. Reloading the game and career afterwards works, but I seem to lose all the Commander settings.

* Some British ships are still sailing with full lights, even as late as December 1939 (which is as far as I've gotten so far! :p2:)

* No diesel sounds; it's as quiet as a church mouse

* Much as it's pleasing to get a perfect back-breaking keel shot, it seems there are far too many ships breaking in half, especially from a single torpedo.

* My crew leaves port already needing shaves! :haha:

* Much as I love the waves, even at 7 m/s my Type VIIB turm is fully exposed at periscope depth a good 50% of the time. (Was that intentional?)

* Is Stiebler's 4B addon for H.sie_V16B1 patch compatible with WAC 5.0? If not, are there any plans to do so?

* Is there a time delay setting for the pullout dials (ex. depth, speed, heading), so that they don't instantly pop out if you just glide the cursor over them? Even a half-second delay would be a godsend for me.

* I find it impossible to scroll through the displayed messages. The moment I click on the messages area it jumps/scrolls backwards quite a distance. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I find it impossible to review recent messages.

* Have the range definitions been changed? My lookouts will call out "long distance" and I'll check it out with the UZO to see that the spotted ship is 2,400 meters away . . . that's not "long distance"! :p2::har:

* Is there a mod that changes the map contacts so that there are no tails and no colours?

* I have found two commands that generates the "No officer at helm station": [cont-page up], and [cont-page down]

* Not sure if this matters, but in Data/Sea/EnglishNames.cfg CLMontecuccoli==Light cruiser Montecuccoli has a doubled ==

If you wish to change the sliding speed simply open the menu_1024x768.ini, scroll down to [settings] and change it to whatever you prefer. It's the 3rd section down.

Seems to be, yes. I suspect that's because of the large amount of ships and traffic there.

I'd love to have SH3Commander work again. I was very careful setting up the program and files for it. I suspect it might have something to do with the Malfunctions&Sabotage setting, or something similar. UPDATE: SH3Commander works fine if I disable Malfunctions&Sabotage; UPDATE 2: While
SH3Commander doesn't CTD if I disable Malfunctions&Sabotage, I'm not sure if the other settings carry over; for instance, even though I have fatigue turned on, my crew never gets fatigued.

Like H.sie's hardcode fixes, Stiebler's lets you 'pick-and-choose' options. Some require editing of the menus and commands. The full list of possible changes are entitled: Silent-Running, Surrender, "Smoke on Horizon", Asdic (for shallow water), CAM-ship, Reduced-Ship-Warnings, Change Patrol Grid request, Minimum TC, IMproved BDU Congratulations, Null Grid fix, Weather Meter, Air Torpedo (FIDO), and Ship Speed. I'll send you via mail the documentation that comes with his mod.


There might be that option, althogh I am no GUI expert and this GUI was mae years ago.
I will be trying ivanov.ruslan's suggestion and see what happens. UPDATE: That setting adjusts the speed the dial pops out, and not a delay before it pops out. However, setting it about half to a third at least helps.

How much Time accel were you using. In this WAC version I wouldn't have it any higher than x64 that close to land or a major port. Also never try and save within 100k of land.

Hi all I seem to be having some trouble with the mod. After multiple test i get a CTD whenever I approach an enemy ship. My game dose fine in the harbors it just happens when I am out at sea. If anyone has suggestions let me know! :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

My only issue with WAC5x is that I can't get the Museum to load. Well, that and the fact that I can't seem to stay alive beyond the 3rd patrol, but that's mostly because I'm in too much of a hurry when I go to play the game - er, I meant "test the missions"... :salute:

Zoom at x5.4 or at x10.8 (ctrl + mouse wheel to adjust the precise zoom level)

This certainly can be! As far as I read it was a hostile naval base.
Some of these "old" ports were not created by me... but the original author of the campaign johan travinsky.
I will write it on my list for the next patch!

Hi schlechter_pfennig. Just on the "No Officer at the Helm Station" thing, whilst I don't use WAC, I have had this happen before when a keyboard command has multiple entries in the Commands_en.cfg file. For instance, I had it happening when I used "PgUp" & "PgDn" for raising/lowering the periscope, even though all officers were at their stations, because some other commands were using those keys too.

If this message appears only when you're using particular keyboard commands, you might check that file for other commands using the same keys.

For me, playing WAC 5.0, at night the flags are almost impossible to see, thus making it extremely difficult to identify the nationality of ships. This is important since you do not want to sink a neutral, or friendly, ship. I have bumped up the brightness of the flags, making it easier to see them, especially at night. There are two variations of this mod: Visible_Flags_high and Visible_Flags_moderate. Visible_Flags_high is the brighter of the two, and actually is so bright as to be unrealistic. Visible_Flags_moderate is less bright, requiring a closer approach to see the flag.

To use, simply place the folder you wish to use, either Visible_Flags_high or Visible_Flags_moderate, into your MOD folder and enable using JSGME.

This mod is meant to be used with WAC 5.0, and with the following enabled:
