If anyone wants to knows how to get there (there's tons of gravestones with messages from the devs etc.), when you enter Haven, the graves are behind the first house on the right (use TAB to see them). Facing the house, on the right side there's an small cap on the edge of the fence from where to enter the graveyard.

Not sure if you need to complete the Sacred Ashes quest first and then return to Haven for this to work, I found them after doing the quest.

Driving a Stuart with Task Force as gunner and going in circles around a Panzer IV whilst TF shoots at it, meanwhile a Stug has joined the fray and is chasing us around the P IV but since we are faster we can catch up and shoot him easily.
Both were on fire before our Stuart was, alas, destroyed.

Earlier on a different map we had done a similar thing and caused so much confusion amongst the enemy that they shot each other whilst trying to shoot us.

In regard to non-consentual PvP, that aspect of having to watch over your shoulder is one of the things that has me looking at EVE. It forces you to interact with others, creating a more open in-game society.

Just remember this simple fact, highsec is actually more dangerous than nullsec.

Port Road, I just fired it up after grabbing it (Free DLC) and took the Black Five and a few coaches down to the next station on the line, was trying to run around to get ready to set back when I derailed on some points but instead of getting the "You have derailed" black screen it just gave me a little box in the corner and the loco kept rolling (with no wheels derailed, I checked) until it ran into the goods depot and did that.
Normally the 'You have derailed' black screen comes up after a few seconds but not today...could be because I was in free roam. Will have to check sometime...

Like I said twice in the CoD thread, check Direct2Drive.com, currently it's going at ~£30=34€=$48 (Jeez, have you fallen that far back??)

They did the same with Shogun 2, got it for 27€ (~£24, $38,5), same sale + march madness sale code, they raised the price back to normal for release date and then dropped it back to 34€.

Via steam, if you're an Euro user, you pay 49€ usually from a new game, whereas US user pay 35-40€.

And lastly, for Steam games, such as Shogun 2 and Il2 CoD, you can buy it from, for example, D2D and use the activation/CD key directly in Steam and download it via Steam. :up:

Cheaper, yet better download speed.

So I thought I need a RTS game that will make me sweat, keep me on my toes and will take hours or days to finish a match. Well as many of you would know the only game for this type of game play is Supreme Commander 1 (SC 2 apparently is dummed down where fanboys have rubbished it so I went for SC1) What an excellent choice! SC beats all RTS games out there. :yep:

Meanwhile Im stuck on mission 3 I keep getting hammered by the pesky enemy ships :rotfl2: though I have torpedo bombers to deal with them they are so overpowered I'm surprised they didn't get nerfed in a game patch.

This game runs like a dream on my pc I read when it came out it made even the fastest gaming rigs slow down to a crawl back then. This game is awesome to just sit back and watch the battles happen 100's of units fighting it out all over the map.

Its part of the opening chapter from an adventure series called Runaway. Thought I could use a break from military sims to sometrhing a little more carefree. Its taken in a hospital, that thing that looks like a plug for a light is the Emergency Call button. The young women is being hunted by thew "Mob" the main character standing there is there to protect her.

Budokai 1, 2, or 3?

I originally owned number 1 for the PS2 back in the day, and picked up 3 for the wii not that long ago. I forgot how hard these games are, had to whip out the old GC controller as I was getting utterly destroyed using the wii-motes. And even then the AI still kicked my butt.

I want to post my own console pictures, but it's kind of hard to play infamous 2 and take pictures of it. :haha:

Aye, I'm pretty decent...can beat the Dragon Universe with any character without dying once...unless I screw around as I want to finish him off with one of those skills.

The old Guildwars with Eye of the North Expansion. Still a nice looking game for one thats 5yrs old.
So I re install Guildwars for the reason to add my Aion Wings to my characters when you buy Aion you get a code to add wings to your GW characters. So I do that only to discover the wings addon is just an emote :shifty: /aion in chat will flash the wings for a few seconds and thats it! Damn. I was hoping my characters would be able to run around in the game with the wings...:damn:

Ok what I mean is you can complete all the quests solo. It's only the big "raids" or what they call special task forces that need a group. I really had fun with STO until I hit level cap and everything became repetitive, and they were only up to season 2. STO is a fun "lite" MMO, and if you like the tv shows you'll enjoy it for a while.

Wings over Vietnam or Strike fighters (actually WoV is more or less a strike fighters mod).
I can't recommend it though. Not much in the way of physics or atmosphere. Perhaps with a ton of mods but as long as they don't do somehting about the physics it's not worth it IMHO.

Right now the front is rather still, other than in the providence of Orsha, where about 70 divisions of axis and allied troops are battleing it out to try to ither pocked the axis, or prevent the loss of 40 Russian divisions. (we have a total of 208 divisions now.)

As you can see those fins have been tamed. and now we have their military at our will.

In the Baltic sea A major naval battle is going on. what is left of the baltic fleet battles a good portion of the German navy. Sadly for them it is a fight to the death. Win or die, well, thats how all the fights for the motherland go.

The silos sorted that out, don't worry. Los Angeles was a target but the SSBNs targetting it got hit by a pretty damn good West Coast ASW air patrol. The East Coast was not as prepared though...

I usually dump most of my SLBMs at the silos when the enemy launches, assuming the SSBNs are in position to do so. If a significant percentage of the missiles hit, it leaves them very little in the way of defenses against the subsequent ICBM attack.

I doubt it, for one thing you had all your silos still on SAM mode when we launched, and secondly IIRC he had no submarines left. Submarines are key in this game, Silo launches are fairly worthless because by the time you've fired all your missiles the enemies silos have turned back into SAM mode and your missiles get (for the most part) batted out of the sky.

While submarines are probably the most important offensive unit, silos can still be very effective for massing missile attacks. TF launched all his remaining nukes at me, but only about half of those survived and even less managed to launch before I took them out, so it was pretty easy to defend against (Even if I wasn't Europe, though some of the missiles did manage to land). If he had launched his missiles in coordination with launches from, say, Arc's Egyptian silos and Atlantic submarine flotilla (The one that launched at North America), your Middle Eastern silos as well as bombers from various locations, my defenses would probably have been overwhelmed and crushed.

Also, way too many missiles went into my radars. I realize that radars are important for missile defenses, but really, how many nukes had to detonate in the Ukraine long after the radar there was gone?

EDIT: Also, he did not have to necessarily nuke me...

The main reason i launched was because i was running out of silos. As i had no fighters left from the naval battles earlier, and my subs failed to escape.

Like i said, after that first naval battle i was done for. As i no longer could stop your bombers from doing strikes on my Sams/airbases. So i launched before the last two or three silos bit the dust. at the end i only had one silo and one airbase left!, oah and 3 battleships.

Yes, Unique Landscapes adds more variety to Cyrodiil by changing some of the
stock areas to more unique ones.

The downside is that it is incompatible with a lot of mods, hence, I don't use
it anymore.

Just check TesNexus.com if you need mods, it has a nice top 100 list for every
category. :up:

In late 44 the Germans threw their last offense, pushing us back in South Europe, after a month, the offense stalled out and in early 45, we launched the winter offensive, that's target was to capture Berlin, and what was lost in south Europe.

By mid summer we had captured what we lost in the south, and Berlin. The Americans also broke out of south Italy. so the race for what was left of Italy, and the rest of europe was on.



With Berlin captured, and German units in ruins, the soviet spearhead armys broke through their lines, and quickly made it to the Rhine and the final German defense lines in eastern France. Though after afiew days the soviet armor broke through the north repeating the tactics of the Germans in 1940.

with German Resistance brought to a halt, and the soviet army moveing unopposed the German government surrendered. With the soviets takeing the riches of war, and only losing south Italy to the Americans. The six year conflict was over.

@ TaskForce nice going, just had a game as Germany in the 44' Gotterdammerung campaign and I managed to push the Normandy beach head back into the sea, the British back onto Sicily and the Russians back past a line running from Arkhangelsk down to Baku (including Leningrad, Moscow, Kyiv, Sebastopol.

Only problem is that the Bitter Peace event didn't fire so I'm still technically at war... Now to finish off my Ballistic Missile program and wait till my Nuke's are small enough to be mounted on them and Britain will fall!

Yeah, it's a lovely mod. Very focused around North Africa and the Normandy campaign at the moment, however the next update sees the team moving into the Soviet Union. If it has a big a grasp as the original Forgotten Hope mod which was just marvelous, then I will be a happy camper. :yep:

haha! I got the upgrade to jump from any height, and if you hold the weapon button down it stuns everyone in a 360 radius around Adam.

I was running around doing the second set of quests in detroit and while up on the roof I just said screw the stairs jumped off and out of habit held down the weapon button, that whole group at the basketball court took naps...

I'll admit that I'm judging off the store page but still, MP has been Men of Wars strong point (past the original game+expansion in my opinion and it just seems like compared to Assault Squads numerous MP maps and even game modes that 3 Maps (6 with on release DLC which btw I consider retarded) is just so little for the price. Maybe if it was like 20 dollars and more of a stand alone expansion to Assault Squad but as an entire game for 35 Dollars? Yeah I can't see any scenario where it would be worth the price.

Admittedly the Co-op/SP maps in Vietnam seem to have more variety then Assault squad but other then that its not 35$ worth of content.

I don't know about you but I expect a fair amount of bang for my buck. I expect games to be re-playable and deliver a lot of content, to not take 10-20 hours to beat and be done with (note I am not taking aim at that game).

BTW I agree with on release DLC (I have really grown to despise DLC and special in-game content for deluxe box). Most DLC is also absurdly over priced for what it delivers, compared to the main game.

I dunno, it's still a full game that costs less then 90% of other games out there, and the replayability comes from the coop (if you have no interest trying to crack the missions on the highest difficulty). I payed E27,- for it and I'm having fun playing some more Men of War, so I really don't see where all the negative stuff is coming from.

I mean, I've seen complaints about the Hueys not flyable/controllable: as if any air units in any MoW game were ever controllable. I really feel this is just a case of people's expectations being unrealistic.

Btw Vietnam was developed by the same guys that did Red Tide, it has no direct connection to either the original or Assault Squad. Maybe it's a smaller team, maybe it took more time to make, I dunno, but I see no reason for it to be driven into the ground.

But seriously, even if it's $5,- more expensive then it really should be, can't people just say "no thanks" and pick it up in a month or 2-3 when it gets discounted for the first time? Why the need all the hubbub over $5,-?

Paid the subscription to try out a ranger. Start the ranger on the other pvp server this server you cannot get killed in towns whew! Damn on the blood and glory server when grabing a quest from a npc nothing is worse when a player attacks you, pvp outside of towns no problem, but pvp while in towns kinda makes you go mad. :DL

Like all hunters/rangers in mmos they are overpowered - the ranger is a great class to level I level faster than I did with the barb and we rangers do kick some serious butt. For one there I was hunting wolves when I spotted a barbarian class player in the distance so went straight to stealth mode to hide from him, he must of seen me cause he starts swinging his axe wildly hoping to bring me out of stealth, I was in the distance watching him go all mad and thought well hes a level 34 Im level 25 it aint a fare fight but who cares Im going to lose anyway so what the hell.

So i come out of stealth and use my pin down shot to slow him down then hit him with all my other shots that are up and before he can even reach me to attack I killed him! :har: Ranger ftw! Though I am told the ranger loses alot of DPS when at 80. So for now hes a excellent class to play for a newbie. Plus he is even good at melee 1h wep with shield or 2 one handed weapons, compared to a WoW hunter who can't melee without dying within 2 seconds.

Age of Conan = best MMO ive played.

Ive been trying out some UI mods this one below is named FDSII, another good one is Corruption. The game if everything is on high makes my PC chug a bit at times so I have grass on medium and shadows turned off, also directx 9 instead of 10 as when in 10 I get CTD too often.

Can't make up my mind what to stick with so I'm going to lvl both the ranger and Barbarian, its fun shooting from a distance and all that but its damn fun being up front in your face smashing everything to a pulp with the barb. So every 15-20 lvls I swap over. This works out good for the barb as doing the quests 2nd time round I already know what quests to take and what to miss out.

Conalls valley (20-30 lvls) is one of my favorite areas to level I wish we could grind here to 80 in this area. Plenty of Assassin players waiting in the shadows to ruin your day. I have smashed players doing hit and runs while on the other hand I have been smash by players to many times. Age of Psychos!
