i've noticed after playing a saved game that the dials in the control room are way out of wack every dial is wrong and not working.Hi. Thanks for this mod. I'm just starting out using WAC and I am having the same exact problem. Is this common? Any solutions available?

PS I'm not using any mods other than WAC and WAC fix, and im using Commander 3.2

The only way that I can find to resolve this issue of the dials at 12 o clock is to use manos GUI by makman.

thanks for the replies. I will try these suggestions. Just to be clear, however, the problem is in all of the submarines dials, not the GUI. Nothing in the sub works-clock, depth, rpm, engine speed, etc, etc. You cannot interact with any dials, not eschalot, etc. This error occurred only after creating a save game in career mode while on patrol.

That is a known bug in all type VII type interiors if you load a save game.
Nothing to solve it.. at least for me, maybe you will find the error...

thanks for your reply Han, Ok, maybe I will snoop around and see where the conflict is. The strange thing is, even if I replace the type VII interior files, it still seems to be happening, so It will need deeper investigation...


one idea for you (i dont know how feasible this would be), maybe you could bundle the ports geometry (which are absolutely stunning, they are fantastic) as separate modules. So people could load only the ports they will be using, and also could unload completely when out at sea. Im sure 90% of the problems, crashes errors, etc are the data for the harbors. I have a very good machine and can barely load all this data, and don't want to modify my OS to make it work. I am able to play no problem, but am unable to load some of my favorite mods because its too much data.

the error is probably about 99% caused from an AI sub... but I dnt know which.


What do you mean with "the ports geometrie"? The correct locations and the terrain fixes together with the docked ships? That would not be possible to exclude and are a main aspect of WAC.
The WAC harbour mod is already present in WAC4.1 animated sub pens.

Referring to crahes...there is nothing wrong with harbour data. It is about all things that will be added with WAC all together. But I have to say... on my 2 GHz dual core, 3GB Ram, HD4550 WAC4.1 also runs without crashing and that is a quite low end system for gaming!

I can not remember that. But someone made a mod for GWx that allows to start in sub pens I think and that should also work.

What do you mean with "the ports geometrie"?I was just meaning all the data (geometry, and what not) that has to do with the new harbors-all the ships and pens and docks, and derricks-maybe too much to load for many machines? I can manage it as well, but its very tight.

For a long time I was not at subsim.com, however I am back and still searching the problem with the VII sub "load - save" problem and the dials heading North.

Hello

I am trying to get this mod to work as I keep getting CTD's either at 90% and when getting into a game for example.

I am running SH3 in Win XP SP3 and have 2.75 GB of RAM.

I am aware by looking at the threads that Vista and Win7 users sometimes get it fixed with the 4GB mem patch.

However I am on WinXP, so is there an fix for this for this?

I have it installed on a vanilla SH3 1.4b install

This is my first post.

Firstly, Han thank you so much for such a wonderful mod, and the best feeling of actually being in the war as it happened, especially the Norway campaign I felt.

The lock system in Wilhemshaven, I’ve just departed and returned from is a pretty interesting idea too. They make more of a simulator, with having to manage some surroundings, not just the submarine is really good. One questions though please. Are they for harbour defence from enemy subs getting in, or for the rising and falling tides?

Hello G,

I have basically same specs, except a bit more memory and no problems at all, everything works perfectly. Try to download mod again, or use free FS auto start to shut down unnecessary windows apps to increase memory

Thank you Tuddley3, a pleasure to be here. @ Brett25, regarding a mod to centralise your base you are at, only data for just that specific erea you are in, with WAC would be truly wonderful idea, with something like in GWX Gold Dead Sea optional mods, you could enable if you transfer there. It would I know probally take truly mountains of time and work though, if it was possible.

Regarding the WAC Wilhemshaven locks, last night was really tricky for me when you sometimes leave that base at dawn in the dark and takes a bit of skill to navigate. A wonderful feature Han. :up:

Btw about with dials pointing straight up, with WAC I have never had this strange 12 o’clock problem myself, I have to say am not using any dial mods either.

I mean the rotating pointer of the hydrophone device, at the sonarman station. It was always free rotating with user's mouse, right? How can I make it free rotating again?

I tried out this mod and it worked perfectly fine during convoy training but when I start a career it crashes. I ran it alone with no other mods, and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions

Did you apply the 4GB patch? And if you have the new Das Boot Pens installed, you need to do the 3GB Switch.

yes i applied the 4gb patch and no I don't have the new pens installed. it works fine in training but for some reason it crashes in career

Yeah it's fresh, and I believe I tried it with a new career but can't recall, as I've tried it a couple of times. I have yet to see if single missions work

I do like the mod so far but I have a few issues I need clearing up:

How do I fire besides the red button, I only get a game pause when I hit enter and
What key opens the torp tube door?

I will keep playing for a whaile and try to see what else is missing for me, but great mod thus far!

About the clock bar sliding down, read posts 27 & 28 on this thread.

I remember having the same problem with SetKeys, and I can't remember what I did to stop it from freezing. If you want to change the keys manually, you can use the other tool called SH3KeyChecker.

I can run GWX on my Windows 7 pc, & LSH works as long as I don't have the high res mod added, but WAC crashes to desktop whenever a campaign or single mission attempts to get started.
I have applied the 4gm patch, but the crash still happens. I've also tried running my machine in 1024 x 768 mode, but still CTD.
Any suggestions?

Problem sorted out: my new PC runs with a 32-bit operating system. I had to follow the additional instructions in the read-me file.

Now: how can I start the game in September 1939 rather than having to crawl through the whole of August? If I run on maximum time copression I get through 4 game hours in 1 minute. That means that 30 dame days will take me 3 hours (provided my crew doesn't spot any other shipping, which means the time compression drops down).

Set days in port to 30 and dock again as soon as you leave the berthing dock....you answered your own question actually.

That would be like trying to mix water and oil. It would probably take 1 year or 2 just to get all the files to work together, otherwise it would have probably been done already. :salute:

Hi folks, i only would like to know, why there are so few ships on the sea. For example i had a patrol near US coast during january and february 42 (Paukenschlag and most ships i found were only Clemson destroyers. There are simply too few merchant ships, especally during this era, when Uboots had big successes against individual ships near US coast. i even waited just before New York port for 2 days and no merchant ship occured. :x
Do you have similar experiences?

Make sure you are sailing along any merchant route which can be found with the route map located in the Documentation folder. There is also a mod called Mapped Convoy Routes which adds the routes directly to the NavMap.

Also, you might find some within the harbors. Other than that, trying to find ships cruising around in open waters(Not along the routes drawn on the routes map) along the coast can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Plus, during that time during the war, there wasn't much going on yet.

In the guest book on his website he wrote (on Sept. 29th, 2010) that 4.1 is the final WAC version for SH3. Work on this mod has been completed/stopped.
Unfortunately, this information is rather hard to find for people who don't read/speak German, since you would not necessarily expect this info in a guest book.

Despite following the instructions to the letter, I have not achieved a successful extraction of the files. I have downloaded each of the three files one by one carefully without any interruption or pause or download accelators of any kind.

I receive messages in 7 zip regarding over 1400 broken files using Carotio's SH3 Modsite mirror. I'll try the Megaupload one later again today and will let you know.

P.S The Hansolo78 Filefront page contains only the optional mods??

Rechecked the archive on SilentHunterMods.com and found no problem
with the files If anyone else has had problems downloading these files as the
thread has recorded 12669 Views so I would expect that quite a few of these

WAC is a supermod per se. There are some parts of WAC (the subpens, for example, or the WAC Real Atlantic Environment), in independent mods compatibles with GWX.

WAC and GWx are seperate supermods.
I developed WAC on the base of another mod over severeal years parallel to Gwx. WAC demands more System ressources because I added more detailed textures, more detailed Harbours, more 3D Objects overall, more Harbour traffic and more historical events.
The AI is not that hard as in Gwx, but raises in the late years with rocket attacks and so on.

Thanks but this tool does not work properly on my computer. Hangs up when try to edit keyboard shortcut....

but no problem, I have edited Commands_en.cfg manually, it's simple .ini file.

Did you implement the 3GB Switch to boot.ini, and also install the 4GB Patch to Sh3.exe?

Have you a really CTD during Load-process, or do you just think that is not go further away, because it takes (in your opinion) a too long time to load ?

It´s in fact normal, that the loading-process to 90% go fast, and then you must wait, depending on system up to 10-15 minutes that´s load complete !

My computer is a Intel Core 2 quad Q8300, 6Gb RAM and a Graphic Card ATI Radeon HD 4350, Windows vista 32 bits.

I''ve tried running WAC alone and with H'sies V15G2 pathc applied and both times the result is the same CTD

it's a real CTD, i get a windows message that the program has stopped.

For Vista 32 you need to take additional steps (5 to 7):
Finally, I found solution for Vista\Win7!

1. Download 4gb_patch.zip here: http://ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php.
2. Unpack it and run the exe.
3. Browse to your Silent Hunter folder and select sh3.exe. This app will create a backup of it and will patch the executable.
4. Click OK to close.

Extra steps for Vista\Win7 32 (not needed for 64-bit versions):
5. Open an Elevated Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges (see below, if you don't know how).
6. Type "bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2900" (no quotes). You can try values in range 2900-3030.
7. Reboot.

How to Open Elevated Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges in Windows Vista\Win7:
1. Click on Vista\Win7 Start button.
2. Locate the Command Prompt menu item (All Programs > Accessories, or appears in program access history).
3. Right-click on Command Prompt.
4. In the context menu, select "Run as Administrator".

That could be a problem right there, but possibly not the problem, if it's crashing while it loads. WAC is very graphics-intensive, which is why I have troubles with my 4650.

I thougth the 4 GB patch was only for 64 bits system.
It is. Your system will only ever access 2 GB at any one time. That's my other problem as well. The only solution I can see is a newer system and a better graphics card. At least that's what's in my (distant) future.

No, it should work on 32 bits too. That is without the patch only 2 GB are accessible.

The h'sies patch has the option of aply the 4Gb path. And before using it i always have very low fps at wilhemshaven as i use the xtra ships and schluese for it, but with this patch i have a normal fps, it is possible that WAC has more memory requeriments due to more graphics?

Yes. I am still using Windows XP Home, and until I applied the 4GB Patch, I couldn't play WAC 4.1. I had the same problem you did, WAC would freeze at 90% during loading. But since you have Vista, things are a little different I guess.:hmmm:

Now i'm able to run WAC, but now i've got some questions.

1.- How can I take out the colour of the contacts inside the navigation map?, i mean in GWX (which i've played till now) all contacts appear in Grey, so you must identify then before attacking.
2.- Is ther any way to take out the Herr kaleun sound that you hear any time you give your crew an order?
3.- Is there any way to fix in the screen the command board you have downside?, I mean i like to see all text, as for inmersion i have voices in german but text in English as i cant understand german so good.
4.- Does anyone know if FM new interior is compatible with WAC?

Yes... actually the patch is called 4Gb patch in the forum, but I named it also 3Gb switch because you´re able to use more than 2gb for applications or games in 32 bit operating systems.

Maybe it still works but I think u have to rework it (should not be too difficult), because units were added to wac 4.1
2. There is surely a way... the most easy probably to replace the soundfile with a dummy file.

4. Is compatible but only work with 4gb patch, because much of memory needed.

Make sure you back it up, and if you encounter a problem booting up Windows, you can change it back in Safe Mode. You can also make a double entry in boot.ini to where you have a choice to load Windows in Default, or the Switch(Just add the switch under the existing boot command).

I wanted to start a new campaign with WAC 4.1. I installed SH3 , added the Patch 1.4 then i installed WAC 4.1 and the fix. So far so good. As i tried to start my first Patrol he loaded until 92% then it took forever and then i became a CTD with everyones favourite message "SH3 has encountered a problem and needs to close". So i though maybe the game is messed up, i tried the training missions whcih worked fine. :hmmm:

I have an AMD Athlox 64 X2 Dualcore 6000+ and an ATI Raedon HD 5700 Series.

Anyone else had or has this problem?

Are you running Windows XP or Vista (I'm not sure if W7 is effected)? Have you tried the 4GB .exe patch and the 3GB boot.ini switch?

Also, get used to it taking forever, that's normal for WAC because of it's enormous size. It normally takes me about 20 minutes to load up a patrol compared to the 3 minutes vanilla. I normally go and make a pot of coffee or take a shower while booting up.

The 3GB switch you need to add manually to your boot.ini file. Open your c:/Drive and open Tools/Folder Options/View and uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files and click Apply. You will notice some greyed out files have appeared. Boot is the one you want to open with Notepad. Then follow these instructions http://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_paper/2009/04/enabling-3gb-switch-on-windows-vista.html


Be sure to backup your boot.ini and place your backup in another folder somewhere. Once you are done and reboot, you will notice a new screen during startup. use your arrow keys to select the new operating system boot option. This problem happens if you use cracked versions, do not use them :salute:
I had the same issue, now playing WAC without the fix.
Try not to install the fix because it worked for me.

Yeah, go ahead and try the 4GB Patch first. With your system specs, you may not need the Switch.

I myself am not sure exactly what the WAC 4.1 Fix corrected, but it probably fixed some CTD problems as much of Hansolo's fixes have in the past. So maby for you the Fix and the 4GB Patch will be all you need.

The Fix corrections are in the readme file, it´s nothing of big porportion.

I use the realism patch made by h.sie. It already patches your exec file to 4gb.

Runs stable but still I get problems when reloading saved games.
I mean, CTD's and an old problem I have with dials... all dials positioned at 12h

You need two different installations.

1. Your LSH, that is fine as it is.

2. Another clean SH3 vanilla installation to be modded to WAC. Use another installation path for that installation, so it won't collide with LSH.

Use a tool called MultiSH3 to create the two different needed folders and paths in /myDocs

Use the 4 GB patch for WAC, it won't run otherwise...

No, they are both Supermods in their own right. You can however have multiple installs of SH3, but you cannot combine LSH an WAC together. You should do a search for MultiSh3 for details.

From what I've found, you have to modify the Dat files in the Submarines and Objects folders with SH3ditor. You have to import the textures and correct the textures name in order to see modded skins. It's not as simple as dumping your new skins in the Mod folder and enabling it like in the past.

The problem is: WAC 4.1 don´t have the "Hi res boats". The site of HanSolo tell "Hires" but in the mod there aren´t the skins...

I just started using WAC 4.1 and I really like it. The one thing I'm not real crazy about is the ship colors on the map. I don't want the ships identified until I identify them. Is there any way to remove the colors?

Thank you very much to the OP for WAC :rock:I have been able to get it playable on WIN7 and I am enjoying it very much. Like some previous comments I would also like to have all contacts as grey but I can live with the colours :)

My question is whether I can add H.sie's V16B1 realism mod and have evryhting run smoothly? I have looked for previous discussion - not found any but I apologise if I have missed it. It took me quite a few install/uninstalls to get WAC up and running properly without fatal CTDs so I am reluctant to just add the Hsie modification in case it pus me back to square one again :)

Thank you very much to the OP for WAC :rock:I have been able to get it playable on WIN7 and I am enjoying it very much. Like some previous comments I would also like to have all contacts as grey but I can live with the colours :)

My question is whether I can add H.sie's V16B1 realism mod and have evryhting run smoothly? I have looked for previous discussion - not found any but I apologise if I have missed it. It took me quite a few install/uninstalls to get WAC up and running properly without fatal CTDs so I am reluctant to just add the Hsie modification in case it pus me back to square one again :)

EDIT - I have succesfully added the V16B1 mod to my WAC modded game. A couple of points in case they help anyone in the future:
1. I disabled the Longer Repair Times using the HsieOptions selector (this is advised by Hsie for WAC)
2. I left the 4gb patch enabled in the V16B1 mod even though I have only a 32 machine AND I already had to apply the 4G patch in order to get WAC running (I have WIN7)

early testing shows all to be working so far! At the moment I am not brave enough to try to add the Stiebler add-ons on top of this!

Has anyone been able to figure out how to turn the contact colors in WAC nav and attack maps to grey like GWX does? I know that HanSolo (OP) has posted here that he once made a mod to do this for a previous version of WAC but it doesn't seem to be available - I guess that even with the old mod I could try to adapt it for the current WAC but at present I have no idea where to start on which files as I am no modder.

My reasons for wanting this is that I very much like the added tension in GWX of having to identify contacts as enemy/neutral/friend by having to ID the flag and/or see that they are running without lights etc.

I applied the old version as supplied by Han and it works without any tweaks.

I have just completed a 4 patrol career with it working to grey out all contacts- only German subs (seen in Wilhelmshaven) appeared blue on the Nav map otherwise all contacts inclusing planes I saw were grey.

This included the very last contact seen a British fiji class (I think) I ran across at night while on the surface west of Northern tip of Ireland. Crash dived and she kept us under for over 4 hours - took depth charge damage 2-3 times but fixed it all or so we thought - when we finally ran clear of the pursuer I ordered us to surface but no response from our boat! We could not stop U-22 slowly sinking deeper - at about 180m we heard the 'bolts' popping (well I know they used this in Das Boot even though the VII is welded but it is still scary when it happens!) - unfortunately I could do nothing to save us and there was still 1000m of Atlantic under us when our gallant craft gave way to the pressure. All hands lost.

Hi all,
I have SH3 set up with multiple copies using MultiSH3. So far I have my old favorite GWX running under one install and NYGM running fine under another install. I wanted to give WAC 4.1 a go, but ran into a brick wall.

Like a couple other people here I get to the 90 percent mark when loading a career mission or a single mission and get the CTD with the Windows has stopped working message.

My PC is an AMD A6 4400m Windows 8 with 6GB and a Radeon HD7520g video card.
I have the old DVD version of SH3.
SH3 is installed outside of the X86 program files directory.
I installed WAC 4.1 mod using JSGME and Hsie V16B1, making sure the Longer Repair Times was not activated. Also made sure the 4GB patch was activated in V16B1....CTD
Tried with the Windows 7 fix...CTD
Tried Compatibility mode for both Win 7 and XP....CTD

I would love to get WAC 4.1 running, but I am running out of ideas to try and get it going. Anyone see something I have overlooked or have a suggestion?

And exactly there they are. The first link in HanSolo's opening post directs to a source - Carotio's Forum - where you can find the complete WAC 4.1 including all bugfixes, updates and addons.

BTW, the SH3 communuty got a real good and serious archiv where you can find all WAC files too - Maik's FTP-server. So there is - IMO - absolutly no necessity to edit the opening post. Although it is evident, that HanSolo deleted the link to his former homepage 4 years ago - what ever the reason was.

Hey Guys, I just got WAC all set up and when the Career is almost done loading I get a CTD every time!!! I wanna play this mod so bad!!!

I have an Apple Macbook running win7 x64 with an Intel Core i5 and 8gb DDR3 RAM, video card is Intel HD3000. I don't think the video card is the issue because I can run GWX full settings and I can run Silent Hunter 5 decent on low settings.

Is it possible maybe having another instance of SH3 with GWX on the same Hard drive is conflicting with it? Below are some screenshots of what I have right now. If anyone can help I really Appreciate it.

Check your main SH3 folder and right click on the exe then properties then the details tab, the final version is 1.4b.

Absolutly, you MUST have the last patch 1.4b by Ubisoft - without this patch no super-mod will run. And you MUST have the 4-GB-Patch to run WAC propper.

What I remember about installing multiple SH3's, you only install one copy with the DVD. Patch it before you do anything else. You must have vanilla after having GWX on it to make sure it's a clean install. Then before you do ANYTHING else, make a copy of your main Sh3 folder and paste it where you want it and rename it to WAC or GWX. Then rename the default one the opposite. Then use MultiSH3. Then also install another copy of JSGME in the new folder.

That's what I usually recommend. New copies (2008 or later) are already patched all the way, and they don't have StarForce! :D

Way better than GWX in my opinion.
We always like honest appraisals and opinions, though of course not flaming ones. Just out of curiosity, what are the points you prefer in WAC? Unfortunately I have a very old computer and WAC won't run on it without crashing.

They are on a timer. You just have to wait for them to open.

Hey Steve. Well most of all, the detail and graphics are of WAC is far far superior to GWX. The nav map is more detailed. I just started a campaign and as soon as I begin my first Patrol the tirpitz is parked right there by my sub pen. I thought that was awesome! So ya, mostly what I've noticed so far is just overall detail of the game being better. I can't comment on the gameplay yet.

As for the control, I'm just gonna skim through the manual for it now. thanks!

One thing I've noticed I really don't like is there is no list that chronologically displays whom Germany is at war with. If you hit F1 in GWX it's right there and very useful so you know who you can attack.

No, that is not true.

I provided a note on exactly that - did you not read that?

The big advantage of my fixed version is that all the extensions are already INTEGRATED and you only have to run JSGME in contrast to your and the official versions, where you have to unpack and install each and every extension and THEN run JSGME, so my version saves you time...

No i didnt read it... just saw that hansolo page has gone down and he promised here months ago to upload the stuff again but he didnt...

So my Idea was to upload the stuff from my external hd to make full WAC4.1 mod avalible again for everybody who wants it.

Now i see the diffrence on your WAC4.1 version, the original one with 3 parts a 200mb and your special version with 7 parts a 200mb...downloading it now.

Whats all included in your version of WAC4.1? I uploaded some more stuff (see my org post) what i found from aces etc. but my "WAC4.1 8k atmosphere underwaterblue.rar" and "Conning Tower open Hatch _Fix_for_WAC_01.zip" files are broken somehow.

For 1360x768 resolution, you can use MaGUI 3.4 with MaGUI Widescreen for MaGUI 3.4. Add the specials "WAC" files (contained in MaGUI).

Hi recently decided to go back to WAC remembered how much i liked it before so now have both WAC and GWX up and running, and enjoying it. The only problem i have is with WAC when i add FM Interiors 2.1 and unfortunately it messes up my scopes and renders them useless, i understand that this is an cameras glitch, just wondered if any one knew of a solution to correct this as i love WAC with its excellent ui and FM Interiors would of been a great addition, guess i can live without it though but had to ask if anyone knew a fix as that would make my SH3 perfect for me, thanks in advance any help appreciated.

WinRAR should do the job just fine. A lot of us prefer 7Zip because of all the things it does, but any good unpacker should be alright. If not you can always download another. :sunny:

I was absent for long time now i like to play some sh3 with W.A.C.
Now how come every eel is going too deep? How to fix that? I shoot like 4 eels and every single one of them goes like 20m under water. It's extremly anoying and i know there was some problems with eels in early state of war, but fun factor is overkilled by how every single torpedo goes too low.

this ship causes CTD when it as hit by torpedoes and narked as "destroyed" Some NULL-byte objects - but with boxes in the ZON file.

which was made by AG124. That Celt one is still in Maik's archive.

It tried to download another file to me also along with the ship file but, fortunately it was a just a separate zip file that I promptly deleted, then scanned everything to be sure of no problems. Mediafire is the best one I've found.

Hi folks,

here we are. You can download the reworked "Hansa Tanker" by AOTD_MadMax from my MediaFire site H E R E (http://www.mediafire.com/download/bnbmyczyd6cdsz7/NECT_Hansa_corr.7z).

It is still the original ship made by AOTD_MadMax. The change log is as follows:
- delete all NULL_Bytes OBJ-objects
- delete the corrresponding SH3ZonesCtrl in the ZON file
- adjust the waterreflection to all remaining objects
- new reflection model (hull) with new values in position to the parent object
- measuring the complete ship in lenght, draft, width, mast high and displacement in GRT
- and correcting the values in the LOG files.

Thanks again to SSB and HW3 that they found this "old" ship (2007). Perhaps Plissken04 aka Maik can put it on his FTP serverr - folder "AOTD_MadMax".

Hello Folks,

After a long time in harbour (nearly 3,5 years) I'm back on board...

I wanted to start a new campaign in August 39 with the Type IIa.
Additionally to WAC I usw several other mods. And know I tryed Ahnenerbes widescreen mod too.

It works so far, but after the target shooting I have saved the game. Ended sh3 and alter when I wanted to load the campain again, I got a Crash to desktop.

May the widescreen mod make trouble ?? Has anyone similar problems with loading saved campains?

Hi MG Mike,

if you don't want to use the SH3_Commander you can change the max. TC in this file: C:/Username/Documents/SH3/data/cfg/main.cfg. These changes will stay and not "rolled back" by SH3_Commander.

Just more question .

I Start a new career in August 39 with a type IIa called "Einbaum" .

Hi hauangua,

in this cse you need S3D - donload HERE (http://s3d.skwas.com/downloads.aspx). Compare the Sensor files of both Super-Modes and make your choice.

a small tweak of MEP v5 is uploaded in my mediafire page.

the tweaked MEP v5 is called ''MEP v5 with GREEN Water''

in this tweak , i added in MEP v5 the green color values for water taken from WAC. this is giving to MEP v5 a slightly more bright water in a green tone as in WAC. i liked the way the wac's green water is shuffling with MEP's blue reflections so here it is for you to download.

special thanks to Hansolo78 for giving me permissions to use the ''WaterLightColor'' and ''WaterDarkColor'' values from his work in WAC supermod.

there is ready a new series for MaGui , i will call them ''The MaGui Mod - UBOOTHAHD Edition''
these MaGui are made at 1024x768 ,at 1360x768 and at 1680x1050
very soon , i will publish a video showing the OBS scope of it
i can't make a 1920x1080 version for the reasons i said here:

WAC doesn't really need anything to add,exept if you want to change some of its parts
i will give you my list on WAC when i get home but ,in the meantime, you can find some optional mods made by ''Rafael'' ( a real gentleman BTW ) for WAC4.1 (search at downloads under the name Rafael).
also, Hansolo, released a 16km enviro for WAC but i don't know where you can find it

ps: DrJones , a very talended ui designer. this guy will give you(if he doesn't lose his interest on the road) the best ui ever made for sh5. he is just warming up :yeah:

...a totally green water is not in my tastes :-?. but a totally greeny look at it can be achieved by either changing the map reflections to a greeny tone or by not saturated maps at all (both methods will lead to a totally greeny look with different results) but i really don't believe that can be made better than WAC's greeny look. they have made a pretty good work :yep:

ps: only by the fact that you are married , you seemed like hero to me. my damage fix team is running after me as i am running away....we will see what will happen with the boat after the storm :)
