They did not have the tonnage objectives, they were just told to go to a curtain area and see if they can catch ships. With OHII it's much closer to the way Sh3 is managing their patrols. Quote:

Ok i cannot find the video I was talking about but if you look at this thread http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=187512 you can see the objective in the picture "Sink 1 Capitol Ship in Scapa Flow". My map does not say this. It has the bar there but doesnt say anything above it other than the name of the mission and the deadline.

Then it must be a problem with the TSR files in the campaign's folder. Install them manually.

Ok I guess I should have read all the changelogs. OHII v2 no longer focuses on tonnage but on patrols. Thank you for your help guys. I really didnt expect replies this quickly. One more question though, should i be able to pick a new objective at sea or am I wrong in that thinking.

Patrols objectives don't have any impact on the game. It's the main objectives, i.e. sink 50,000 tons on the Eastern Coast, that do.

Wait I'm confused again, that's exactly what I was talking about. My maps do not tell me the main objective, only a bar that fills up. which does me no good if i dont know what to do to fill that bar

Unfortunately, SH5 doesn't really allow that, so, I believe, one of the ways Trev tried going around it was hiding the actual tonnage "requirement", trying at least to make it visually similar; creating the feel of the same type of approach to patrols: go there, try find and think stuff |
