Ok I guess I should have read all the changelogs. OHII v2 no longer focuses on tonnage but on patrols. Thank you for your help guys. I really didnt expect replies this quickly. One more question though, should i be able to pick a new objective at sea or am I wrong in that thinking.

Patrols objectives don't have any impact on the game. It's the main objectives, i.e. sink 50,000 tons on the Eastern Coast, that do.

Wait I'm confused again, that's exactly what I was talking about. My maps do not tell me the main objective, only a bar that fills up. which does me no good if i dont know what to do to fill that bar

Yes I downloaded all the mods and used Sobers Mega Mod.MEP with minor edits with JSGME to load them all.

Ah, if they've changed focus onto patrols, that might be why it's like that.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go and sink some American ships.

It's called Operation Drumbeat.

You're gonna love it!

As I explained: OH (in the newer version) is trying to move towards the way patrols were handled in the SH3/SH4 games: go there, try to sink stuff.

Unfortunately, SH5 doesn't really allow that, so, I believe, one of the ways Trev tried going around it was hiding the actual tonnage "requirement", trying at least to make it visually similar; creating the feel of the same type of approach to patrols: go there, try find and think stuff

It's working as he planned. LOL I've been wondering the same thing, but I just keep on heading out to sink as much shipping as I can. I believe those little iron crosses will tell you how well you're doing. The best thing to happpen is being tranfered to Lorient. Less fuel used to go out and hunt, and then get back to port.

Haven't launched the game for the past 3 weeks at all (and last time I did was to test something after working with TDW's GR2 Exporter/Importer)..

Well, maybe this weekend

There are three objectives in HappyTimes
You must pass or fail the first to get the second
pass or fail the second to get the third
so you should always have an objective - are you sure you have finished atl gap?

If yoou fail objectives - time is tight for the next one, but you will always have an objective active with this campaign.

Please post screen shot of your map showing your campaign progress
