![]() This tutorial was based in observations using zoom scope at 6, but If you use x1.5 zoom: a) The vertical reading ( in this video 4.2 ) must be align with the black bottom right wedge and not the top black wedge. b) The horizontal reading ( in this video 15.8 ) must be multiplied by 4 before used in the inside part of the middle ring ( 6x divided by 1.5x = 4) c) Any “mark one eyeball, or the time she takes to cross the vertical line” calculation of target’s speed, in order to get fairly accurate values, our AOB (the bearing to our submarine from the targeted ship) must be between 60 and 120 degrees.
