but does anyone have any ideas as to why not? why employ only one radar set on an extendable mast for this era of diesel boats? didn't the later GUPPY conversions allow for multiple radar set extensions? what made the difference? is it just a 'feature' of sail geometry/configuration?

What is also accurate though is a surface search radar built into
a later periscope. [edit] ST radar ( I think ) I think its modelled in game but I havent had chance to look it up but I beleive it was there in april when I tested the first time. M |

In S3D, goto chunk 15 (early) / 17 (late), and change the type from RadarAntenna to Snorkel...
