Having won twice previously, the second being a tie with Catfish, and knowing I'm slower on the mouse than Rockfish and El Whacko, I determined to lead from the outset and was on GMT time this time with no confusion! Moreover, having failed twice at "catchup" whack-a-squirrel, leading from the front is the only way for a septuagenarian dolt. Keeping meticulous ongoing track of scoring is useful as well.I always do as I've cited previously: "situational awareness is crucial". A 76-year-old man was arrested after he shots bullets at his neighbor's home attempting to shoot a squirrel.
The Minnesota man was identified as Michael James Powers, per local news.
Powers told police that he previously shot squirrels that entered his bird feeder.

In addition to finding the bullet, broken glass was inside the room.

Powers told local police that he was trying to shoot a red squirrel that was on his bird feeder from his bedroom window, according to the reports. Police said when he was taken into custody his wife told him: "Well, I told you," The Associated Press reported.


Powers explained to the officers that he shot at the animals about six times in the last two years when they got inside his feeder, the outlets reported, calling it "war."


Additionally, Powers told police that he thought he struck the squirrel, and only pulled the trigger two times the day of the incident, The Herald reported.
Powers is set to appear in court next week.

The local motorcycle group is doing what is called the " Polar bear " on their motorcycles New Years day, if it isn't snowy or icy. I think it's like a 75 mile run.

I've struggled a bit deciding on how to distribute the scores to help those players online during quiet periods (my sack time) and it seems to me the best thing has been to award higher scores at those times, with lower scores during the day (here) to keep the 'Brit/Euro Crowd' busy playing catchup

Trouble is, this can create an overlap where people might start inserting matchsticks into their eyelids to grab the big points

Plus this time Catfish was the only European wallah playing :haha:

Wayyy back in 1984-85 I was in my Junior year of getting my EE degree in college. My junior year was also my Hell Year because I had to pick up 22 credit hours in the first semester and "only" 21 credit hours in the second semester. :doh:
It wasn't about maintaining my GPA, it was entirely about Survival. :yeah:

I got tuned into Guaraná by some friends with exotic tastes and gave it whirl for the two Finals Weeks. Guaraná, as best as I can tell, is still quite legal in North America. It doesn't buzz you out or make you gittery, you just don't need (or want) to sleep. In its powdered form, it tastes a lot like...dirt. So, I learned to mix it with hot water and some instant hot cocoa mix and chug it down every 12-14 hours while I was hitting the books.

WARNING: R.E.M. sleep is a very good thing and it keeps you from going cray-cray. You can't get any R.E.M. sleep if you aren't sleeping at all, so play accordingly. :up:
