View Full Version : List Your MOD Loadout/Order
Hey guys,
Just wanted to start a thread where everyone could show the MOD's they're running and what install order they are using. You could even place a little note beside a MOD that conflicts with another and explain why you load this particular MOD lower in the order. This would be a great reference thread without having to scrounge through 100+ pages on each MOD release thread to find out if it needs to install before/after a particular MOD so as not to lose any functionality. I know JSGME shows conflicts but this will help everyone see what the conflict is and why a particular MOD should load before or after another. Heck, it may even help some that have there "MOD Soup" in a real mess right now. Oh well, thought it would help! :03: If not, please disregard. :yep:

Whoa Krauter, you don't need a lot of the mods you have there my friend. Since you are using my Interior mod V1.1 you don't need:
- Interior working dials
- WoGaDi
- Reboot's Hot soup
- No Damn Bubbles No Damn Halo mod
My mod does what all these do and much more. By installing these at the same time, you actual take away a lot of what my mod does because they overwrite each other's files.
I have almost the same as DavyJonesFootlocker. With DBSM (sound, music, speech) installed.

Yes, here is the rundown:
-Install IRAI after Historic Specifications 1.4
-You do not need ImprovedWaves_Improved roll&pitch V1.1 since Historic Specifications 1.4 does the same things even better
-You do not need Damage assessment because IRAI does this also
-I am not sure, but I think that TDW's UI already takes care of the free cam, so you might not need Free Cam Tweak 1.1 - Narrow

Yeah, with all the mods out right now, it is difficult to keep everything straight. I wish a thread similar to this would get stickied and then maintained to always reflect the best installation method at the time. It would be a lot of work to do something like that though.
I always try to state directly what you do not need if you install any of my mods, it would make things a lot easier if other modders would do the same(not preaching here guys, just making a suggestion).

I agree 100% - A Definitive List (so-to-speak). But how in the world would you know that Mr.X implemented MOD-X into his MOD-Y? I guess if they don't say so then it's hard to tell unless you break the mod down and start comparing whatever it conflicts with? Wish I was better at merging mods and such, because I would be more than happy to start the proverbial "Definitive List". :rotfl2:

Not bad at all, here is my advice for how to clean it up a bit:
- I just uploaded a combined version of Env 3.1, the way you have it installed now is just fine but if you use the combined version it will thin out your mod soup that little bit more.
- Since you are using IRAI I am pretty sure that you don't need Feared Hunters, I am pretty sure that IRAI edits all the same files.
- I believe that Env3.1 already has a realistic size moon, so I don't think you need RealSizeMoon, but I am not 100% sure on that one.
- Some of those add-ons of TDWs are not necessary, as I think that one of them does what several of the others do put together. But, you should talk to him for confirmation on that one(I am no expert on TDW's UI, as I use Reaper7's HiDef Realistic Interface).
And my last piece of advice is for myself, I have been meaning to just release Capthelm's audio mod with my touch ups built right in so that people won't have to mess with both.

Thanks Steel. I'll do a little researching and see if I can remove the mods you listed. I put this list up right before downloading your combine Env3.1 mod so I'm using the Env3.1 combined one now. :yep:
And actually, I think I'm missing one of the addon's for TDW's UI because I noticed that my "ghost" contacts still have tails. There's a sentence I never thought I'd use. :haha:

NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Contact_Colors - needed to remove colors from contacts on the maps
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Contact_Tails - remove the 'tails' from those contacts on the maps so you can't tell direction they are heading/moving
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_Sub_Warship_Merchant_Same_Shape - makes those contacts all use the same shape
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Color_Dashed_Contact_Line - hydrophone contact lines have no color and are dashed
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_Waypoint_Contacts_Same_Shape_No_C olor - the 'ghost' contacts all use the same shape and have no color

This is incorrect, because when I use MRP over NewUIs with the 8x5 patch (is this correct.. my moniter is 1680x1050?) it changes the cam files back so I can't zoom correctly. So my Free Cam has to go OVER MRP 8x5 patch

This is incorrect, because when I use MRP over NewUIs with the 8x5 patch (is this correct.. my moniter is 1680x1050?) it changes the cam files back so I can't zoom correctly. So my Free Cam has to go OVER MRP 8x5 patch
I would think you need the 16x9 patch. Not for absolute sure but I think 1680X1050 is 16x9 ratio resolution. I run at 1920X1080 and use the 16x9 patch on my 47" Westinghouse monitor. Someone will pipe in and let you know if I'm mistaken. :hmmm:

I've recently been experiencing a lot of CTDs (Notably while transitting from Kiel around Denmark to Heligoland). I will be sailing and I will get a contact or save my game and then the game will crash.. any ideas if these mods and their order will cause that?

That sounds like the Skagerrak CTD problem that comes from the Env mod. The same problem exists for the channel out of Lorient. About a week ago, I made a fix for Lorient that I am pretty sure worked, but then never heard back from the folks that I made it for(which is very annoying). So I can't know for sure if it does work as I cannot reproduce the CTD error at all in the first place.
So, if you are willing to test it pretty thoroughly, I will make a fix for Skaggerak. If you get no CTD I will fix all regions in Env that have this problem and then give the file to W_clear for inclusion. Just let me know if you are willing to test it.:salute:

Yes, astradeus made a version of his climate zones mod that would still be compatible. However, I have heard mixed reports about it. Some say it fixes the CTDs, others say it makes no difference, and still others say it causes more. Like I say, I think I might know how to properly fix the problem, but I have no way to be sure since I do not get them.

NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Contact_Colors - needed to remove colors from contacts on the maps
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Contact_Tails - remove the 'tails' from those contacts on the maps so you can't tell direction they are heading/moving
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_Sub_Warship_Merchant_Same_Shape - makes those contacts all use the same shape
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Color_Dashed_Contact_Line - hydrophone contact lines have no color and are dashed
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_Waypoint_Contacts_Same_Shape_No_C olor - the 'ghost' contacts all use the same shape and have no color
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_Waypoint_Contacts_No_Tails - the tails are removed from the 'ghost' contacts so you can't tell heading/direction
NewUIs_TDC_3_9_3_No_Hydrophone_On_Surface - hydrophone operator won't report hydrophone contacts and you won't get hydrophone contact lines until ~9m depth
swap the two items in yellow above in your loadout so it look like the above.

I'm going to be editing my first post soon with a list of mods (that I feel is stable) and will document mods that make changes to others. It won't be a "one stop shop" because they're too many mods out but at least it'll be a good starting reference. I'll then update as needed as time goes on and mod revisions come out. :salute:

Aah, I did not know this existed as when I am lazy and dont want to plot the length of the Kanal I go the long way around and have never had that problem. Though I did have the problem while patrolling around the Pas de Calais area.

Ok, I will make the changes that I think need to be made and post a link here. Anyone who has had problems with the seas surrounding Denmark should try this and see if they CTD or not. Just give me a few minutes.
Well, I spoke to soon about no CTD. :x Just had one heading to the first "British Coastal Waters" objective. I was about half way in Nord Meer, just a little north of Amsterdam. :hmmm:

Here it is. I think it will fix the CTD around Denmark, but only there, I changed nothing that would help any other areas. This is not a guaranteed fix though, so I need everyone to cross their fingers.

From my quick run through in the area (a day at 8000x TC) nothing, even with a contact in the vacinity and a test.. I will notify you if I do get anymore CTDs in the area :)

Just take the climate zones cfg and tga out before enabling the environment mod , never ever had a ctd .

Removing the climate zones .tga and .cfg is not a good fix. You will lose all the climate zones that W_clear added, so you lose a lot of really cool weather effects. No, we need to find the exact cause of the CTDs and fix it, which we may have actually just found.
Well I added the Abyssal Depths ClimateZone mod after my CTD and all seems good now. :yeah:

Sober posted over in the IRAI thread that maybe IRAI loaded up along with The Elite Campaign is making things super hard. I'm starting to agree. I just took out a merchant with the deck gun within sight range of a DD. Starting running as soon as the merchant went up in flames and dived down to 40+ meters and play hide and seek with the DD for 2 hours. He dropped some DC's but I took no damage from them as they were way off. Finally got tired of hiding, came to periscope depth and got lucky with a stern fish after guessing a estimate 8 knots speed and leading him 15 to 20 degrees. Sunk him! :yeah: I was SO happy when that fish hit. :har: Anyhow, I would like to hear of anyone else that was running IRAI with The Elite Campaign and let me know if you've tested removing one or the other. Thanks.

if units are elite then their sensor effectiveness and available throttle ratio are all 1.0. Can you say nasty :D I don't know how you would escape from elite escorts or warships.

You may want to consider using SteelVikings Interior Mod as it includes alot of nice improvements inside the sub..
Also, SteelVikings Underwater Community mod combines a lot of nice features and goes well with the Environment Mod. Also, with the environment mod, consider getting rid of (or installing after Env. Mod) Ail Rain, Smoke, Clouds and Climate Zones
Also, Capthelms' sound mod is a very nice addition to the game.
Ddrgns Uboat Historical Specs 1.4 is nice also,

W_clear's Env 3.1 Mod.. However, as I haven't tried this EnvGold I cannot say which is better. I merely suggest Env. 3.1 by W_clear as it is compatible with a host of other graphical fixes

I am not sure what would be causing that dem. None of my mods touch the observation scope. It might be TDW's UI Mod? I am not sure if he modifies the hight the periscopes raise or not. TDW what's the word on that?
You could try BIGREG's historical periscope hight mod just to see if that solves the problem for you.

Ok, I have done a fix for the whole map for Env3.1. Hopefully this will totally stop the CTDs. I would like for anyone who can to do a little bit more testing to make sure that this works. Then I will ask W_clear to include in another version.

I have a weird (probably mod soup related) problem and I was hoping one of you fine tech-oriented modders could cast your eye over the list and see what may be causing it?

Hello all,
I have a weird (probably mod soup related) problem and I was hoping one of you fine tech-oriented modders could cast your eye over the list and see what may be causing it?
When I go into the obs scope, this is what I see:

the problem child is the highlighted in yellow item above. I'm pretty sure the reason is video card memory is exceeded due to his use of a new texture for every single item in his mod.

The latter is the one your want, as it stops the little thought bubble above people's head. However, I would really just recommend my interior mod, as it does all that stuff for you, plus a ton more, including a lot of bug fixes. Just check out the first post on the thread for it for details.

I will look into that area to see what I can do to fix the CTD there. No, BRF should not end up installed into the root folder, it should be enabled just like any other mod.

Ok, the BRF issue was my own doing. Looks as though I accidently pasted it the SH5 root directory instead of the mods folder. :doh:
The Env 3.1 crash was still happening though. I got it several times off the east coast of Britain and also in the PQ17 historical mission. Disabled that mod and no more CTDs.

IRAI needs to be installed after my UIs mod. If you don't then you lose the 360 hydrophone coverage of the ships along with some other things.

and I could not click on the large map (immediately CTD):cry:
I deactivated all mods, btu I have the same problem.
I tried to staart from the position in the port, but while loading carsh the game (CTD). The same thing happens while loading older positions...
Do not tell me PLEASE, that I have to start a new campaign, because I do not have too much time to play and I´am happy, that I got in 1941 and wish to proceed.

Possible CTD Fix
The Environment Mod overwrites something from the Improved Waves mod so I'm not even sure if having the Improved Waves mod loaded is redundant or not. Actually looking at the mod again it looks like the pitch and roll are maintained but the waves themselves overwritten.
I highly recommend the 'German U-Boat Crew Language Pack' and optionally the other U-Boat SFX as well; they add a lot of authenticity and atmosphere.

@Vince, the possible CTD fix is only for W_clear's Env 3.3. You don't need it unless using Env 3.3 or an earlier version.

No, Environment Gold is from Kapt Von Keldunk, Env 3.3 is from W_clear. They are two totally different environmental mods.

Wow, somehow I missed that.
Is there any major differences between the two? Like which one might be considered 'better' or more worth it. Though I suppose the 3.3 might have more crashes, lol.
EDIT: I suppose this mistake was because I was just looking at the downloads page and saw an environment mod version progressing higher up to 3.3, then above it saw the 'gold' one, so I assumed the gold was the best and downloaded it, didn't pay attention to the author. Sometimes I'm stupid enough to look over details like that.

Since usually I don't like to go searching all over forums to find what I want, and it's nice when someone posts a link for me and makes it a lot easier. So didn't mean to call you lazy, just did what I would have liked someone to do for me, were I in your shoes, which I often am.;)
Also double-checking the downloads page and it seems the environment mods 3.3, 3.4 and gold, among other versions, were all done by Captain von Keldunk (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/member.php?u=238183). Or at least uploaded by him. Though I do see the 3.3 mod you were talking about by W clear, so I don't know if these are completely different mods, or the same? Got a little confused there, especially since it looks like W clear's newest one is 3.3.
Also the one I'm using is from May, clear's is from a few days ago, his should be better; I think I'll give it a spin.
EDIT: Don't wanna make any more posts, I think I've made too many already, so gonna edit this one and if you see this then great.
Trying Clear's mod for awhile, so far the water looks stunning, so for that alone I think I'm gonna stick with it. I removed the wave mod, since clear's mod has it's own system in this regard. Only thing I have to watch out for are those crashes, hopefully either they are none-minimal, or they're fixed soon.

Wow, somehow I missed that.
Is there any major differences between the two? Like which one might be considered 'better' or more worth it. Though I suppose the 3.3 might have more crashes, lol.
EDIT: I suppose this mistake was because I was just looking at the downloads page and saw an environment mod version progressing higher up to 3.3, then above it saw the 'gold' one, so I assumed the gold was the best and downloaded it, didn't pay attention to the author. Sometimes I'm stupid enough to look over details like that.
Well, they both pretty much do the same stuff, but the environmental colors are different, and the weather acts differently. So, it is really all up to personal preference.

I've been playing for 3 days, yet my mod list already got a bit messy:

My absolutely best find is "NewUIs" by TheDarkWraith. It's the very mod that made the game playable and enjoyable. Without it I would be already very, very tired of trying to have fun. You can find it here:

@ Abd_von_Mumit, you might want to check out the mod: SteelViking&Community's Underwater Mod since you prefer 100% realism. In that mod, I have greatly reduced the underwater view range, bringing it close to real life. So, it makes it difficult to use your scopes for dodging DCs.

Sudo, you are correct about the accurate German Flags mod. Conus00's graphics mod does what it does, plus more. Just make sure that if you are using my interior mod, that it goes in JSGME after Conus00's mod.

I remember from reading in the thread of this mod that while it changes both external and internal lighting effects, your mod focuses on internal, and thus combining these 2 will give you both Capthelms' external lighting and your changes of the interior. Is that not valid anymore?

No, that was never valid. Whenever two mods share the same file, whichever one is installed last will completely overwrite the file from the other mod. In this case, the file lights.cfg is shared, and my mod will completely overwrite capthelm's. Now, if I am remembering right(not at my modding comp right now) Capthelm also made changes to the exterior color correction filter, which my mod does not overwrite. But, since the lights.cfg is changed by my mod, I would imagine that things might not look right when using both mods at the same time.
You could winmerge the two lights.cfg file though, and make them fully compatible that way.

The Grossdeutscher Rundfunk mod and each Venatore's radio mod are not cross-compatible, but tweaking this is very easy.
Yes sir - I actually have multiple radio mods folded into the Grossdeutscher Rundfunk mod... same thing I will be doing with Venatore's radio packs. Thanks for your gracious assistance.

No, that was never valid. Whenever two mods share the same file, whichever one is installed last will completely overwrite the file from the other mod. In this case, the file lights.cfg is shared, and my mod will completely overwrite capthelm's. Now, if I am remembering right(not at my modding comp right now) Capthelm also made changes to the exterior color correction filter, which my mod does not overwrite. But, since the lights.cfg is changed by my mod, I would imagine that things might not look right when using both mods at the same time.
You could winmerge the two lights.cfg file though, and make them fully compatible that way.
I just checked in my JSGME and it said "Capthelms Lighting Effects mod for sh5" files were not overwritten by anything else. So I checked - this mod is not JSGME ready, so it didn't ever install anything in my game. :D
So I'll just leave it be, I'm fine with the colours I have now I think. Thanks for pointing this out. :salute:

This is my list of mods:
The problem I have is that the sub is still not reaching the periscope depth of 14 Meters although I'm using the U-boat Historical Specifications 1.4. The Mark on the dial is fixed by 14 meters. Going to Periscope depth just to 12 Meters.
Can anybody imagine what the problem may be.

"Accurate German Flags" is obsolete when using "Conus' Graphic Mod 1.1". For later version of "Conus' Graphic Mod 1.1" you should check SteelViking's thread: SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.1 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=171415).
"Krauters Automated Scripts" current version may crash your script engine after upgrading "NewUIs_TDC_4_2_0" to current version 4.3.1 (I notified Krauters, so he may be releasing an update).

Very important, so pay attention to the order as well. If 2 or more mods use the same game file, the last installed mod will overwrite any changes made by previous mods. This way some mods are used to tweak other mods. This is also main source of incompatibilities between mods (usually major mods).

I have just started getting CTD when I meet a convoy (last 3 meetings). This happens in open ocean and a TC of 128 to 256. Game time is 1943 during Black May.

I have been testing the CTD issue ive had. (see above post)
Even TC1 was CTD.
Removing all the graphics mods allowed the game to continue without CDT. As the game went on there was actually a second large convoy being loaded at the point were the crashes were happening.
Could this be a lack of RAM? I have 2GB.

Much upgraded version of EQuaTool is available (especially if you like Kriegsmarine Style).
Out of:

install only latest (1.2).
FX Update needs to go before NEW UIs (or before IRAI, can'r remember).
You need an MRP fix from NEW UIs mod.

Also I got a problem with German Langauage, I prefer to play with the crew talking in German - but one of th emods above has English speech so when I ask the crew to man the deck gun or man the flack gun - they say yes sir in English, some other commands also get an English response, but most of the game runs in German language - Any Ideas?

This is great stuff..But my greedyness has no end..I want it even easier..I m a realism geek who loved RFB and manual targeting with good recognition manuals..I don t dislike nice graphics cause of that and just invested in new pc with the hottest ati card 6 mnths ago(5970..the one that ahd lots of probs in sh5 I think..no idea how it is now)..
Any suggestion of a modlist that would suit me? :) (tested and working :D)
Since day 1 I was all over for realism. No lock target, no teleport, no dials on ma ui. So far I managed to gather up a list of mods that can help me to play with high realism, but is still a long way to go until I can achieve what I want/need.
Problem is that most of the map tools are included in UI packs and I just cant stand any UI mod built for SH5 so far. That's why when I do my maths for a fire/intercept solution.. I do it old style.. on paper :/ Hope that someday those tools included only in UI mods would be stand alone mods so I will not be forced to ruin my UI to have them.

Have you tried my latest version of my UIs mod? If you've tried it and say you can't stand it then that's fine. But to say you can't stand it when you haven't even tried it is, well, not sure what the word is for that. You can get a clean HUD and items only appear when you mouse into their area. I suggest the SH5 Enhanced mode with everything that can scroll out of view enabled :yep:

Hey magnum. You might want to try my underwater mod. It is not just for eye candy purposes. It really does limit your view underwater, and it makes things get even darker/harder to see at night. Plus it eliminates the silly stock jets of bubbles coming out of the submarine, and much more.

I already have hard time to see anything under water, GreenUnderWater + EnviroMod killed all my visibility. The pic shown in IRAI topic have the brightness increased just to make the torpedo visible, in reality the water is much more darker. Under 40m I can't see anymore my sub. I worked hard to "mod these 2 mods" to not crash my game and also gives the best result. For bubbles I use AilBubbles also a bit moded. Actually, I'm used to mod almost any mod for my personal use, so my game runs/looks a bit different than it should with the default mod settings :DL

I guess the IO map is messed my side bar map tools and they are not visible in TAI once I use navmap.
Next mod of my chosing will be No Magic Skills and AilRain I guess
If there is avaiable some mod to make the walking through the hatch when banked I would load it immediately.

that tells me you're using an older version of Obelix's IO map mod and/or you're not running patch 2 for my UIs mod. Redownload that mod/install patch 2 and you should have no problems.

@ Otto: You need to install IRAI v0.0.27 no hydrophone on surface no aircraft spotting after the UIs mod. As you have it now the UIs mod is overwriting that file and thus negating what you are wanting.

No.
The FX_Update_0_0_5_BARF_1_3_Full_Fix is just a fix for BRF when using FX Update (FX Update adds some new entries in the Zones.cfg file)

you have no AI mod installed that's why. You're using the stock AI.

you have no AI mod installed that's why. You're using the stock AI.
They were attacking before, but now, I'm not even spotting ships. I was running on the surface and almost ran into him.. which I thought was weird.. and since he hadn't fired I thought I'd provoke him, see if the ai was stuck or something.. he just sat there.
I'll try your AI mod tho, it sounds really great, I'm just not to savvy on all this. I really like the exhaust mod!
How should my load order go? Any thoughts??

My Problem is that when i will dive to periscope depth the boat just reaches the depth 10 m and not 12 m. Although every dive command does not reach the depth i want to. e.g. i want to dive 25 m the boat just reaches 23 m.
Has any one an idea what causes this.

Nothing special. After you has asked me i had a look for myself...it's just removing the wake from electric torpedos...

A few minor flaws though. When I click the torpedo man or the icon for the Captain's log the game freezes. And sometimes the screen freezes but you hear the game continue. Any suggestions to fix that, or suggestions for other mods, are very welcome!

Go to your SH5 folder in my documents and go to
C:\Users\glenn\Documents\SH5\data\cfg\Main .
Change to this
[DEVELOPING]
Modding=Yes
;MenuEditor=Yes
DebugScripts=Yes
Helps to know whats the crash all about .
Uninstall mods one x one , i have UI mods and they are ok .
Where is the IRAI mod by TheDarkWraith , planes wont attack without it , it goes before UI mod .

Looks like I have all of those set to " yes" by default. I assume this means the game pops a debug file of sorts somewhere when it crashes? I can't seem to locate it:oops:
And yas, I'll install the IRAI for sure. Figured I'd get familar with current set up before adding second pile o mods there though. Still very new to the game and mods, so!
Tried a number of various mod combinations by now. Stock is stable. Mod combinations including creations that make SH 5 playable don't seem to be. Finding what causes this is very annoying and time consuming;the crash takes place once every 10-30 times I enter Uzo or either of the periscopes. My latest attempt at stable combination is pretty much 1:1 copy of Pascal4541's very good mix (with addition of IRAI) presented few pages back. Crashing, as per usual:l

maybe it could be some of the stormy mods not sure but ive had the odd crash with to many of those loaded in i cant be sure though..good luck with it all say good by to your social life:up: or some could be the wrong way round..you will get there in the end im sure its a lot of testing and re,testing...

I replaced DW's NewUis with Hi Def Realistic Interface(Which too is truly magnificent mod btw! ) For a few hours, there was I thinking a stable combination had finally been found. I locate a convoy, plot an intercept course, flank them and start waiting. When they are some 10 km from me, next look through periscope is fatal.
F**K THIS. I can't understand how nothing but the godamned useless unfinished insult of a stock version of the game is stable for me. This is like some cruel joke.
Maybe I give another go in couple of months.

Launch JSGME, in the middle you got Tasks... Select: Save mod profile (give it the own name and find localizotion to save this file - clipboard the best place IMO) than open with Notepad, or Export activated mods to clipboard... or Text... And you got this list in your Mod folder. Open, Ctrl+C and here paste:salute:

Incidentally, I still find that when at periscope depth, the obs scope does not reach far enough up to see out of, strange one.

You use the obs scope before surfacing to look for planes overhead and for a quick scan of the area before surfacing . It has a larger head and you can scan a larger area quicker .

And when i launched the game with all of this i got a bug in main menu when i had some empty windows and couldnt do anything. After i delete Ui-Boat v2.2. Main Menu got work and after i delete all mods and installed Ui-Boat v2.2 on clear stock this worked too. I want max realism in the game.

On the WoGaDi = working gauges dials - it should in the SH5 downloads - or search the forum. It has its own thread in the workshop.
As for the improved soundman - no idea where I got that one. I got way too many SH5 mods... LOL If you want it PM me your email addy and I will send it to ya.

looks fine except NewUIs current version is v6.4.0. You'll definitely want the new version :yep:
You should also install the sub hydrophone fix to prevent a CTD when using the hydrophone to listen for a sub.

Seems ok.. just install the aertorpedoes mod and if you use real nav i sugest you to install the trevally harbor pilot patch: http://www.gamefront.com/files/17796895/Trevally-Harbour--Kiel-Canal-Pilot-patch.7z/ and you are missing trevally auto scripts... you absolutly need this mod if you play real nav...

Airtorpedoes.... I overlooked this as i knew IRIA had this already. I see now, upon reading the thread that this adds to what TDW put in IRIA. :up:
Trevally harbor pilot... I didn't think this would work with real nav as your sub is not displayed on map. I spent 12hrs gametime (about 3hrs realtime) clicking 5 degrees to port, rudder midships and 5 degrees to starboard. to get through kiel canal.
Yes very tedious. Gonna have to test this out. :ping:
Auto scripts... I tend not to use automation. Guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try tho.

It is an very important script in Trevally autoscripts that you must start when you start the game to fix your position by navigator.. if not play with this script you will have trouble... see here and you will understand better what i am spoking about:

Ok. I think I finally have my game the way I want it....at least for a day or two before someone releases another "must have" mod.
Here is my mod order. My question is this.... when loading real environments (#4) it says its overwriting all the uboat.sim files from several other vital mods. I originally thought this would mess things up but then I saw that #5 (Depth keeping UHS patch) again overwrites those same files. Does this essentially "re-patch" the uboat.sim files back to FX, IRAI settings?
Also, stoianm, can I assume your weather mod is compatible with Real Environments?
