Installation:
1. Backup current audio/sfx/sfx.agg file
2. Replace the stock sfx.agg file with the packaged file
Purpose:
The purpose of these modifications is to enhance the quality of sounds heard
through the submarine broadband platforms. The stock broadband effects, while ok, were so faint that the engine effects were barely audible if at all. This mod replaces the broadband effects with new ones and increases the volume. With these changes it is hoped that audible identification will now be possible while playing. Surface ships can be distinguished from subs; diesel subs can be distinguished from nukes.
