hi guys,
does anyone knows if there is a converter for converting a linear scale to a circular one and vice versa ?

Could never find one... Even tried excel charts, but the resolutions were 'dodgy'
Had to resort to linear image 'dot and rotate' in photoshop = Manual Labour. But it worked. You could also try circularise a linear image in photoshop... I haven't tried this, as i think the resulting accuracy might not be right. i was even thinking of a CNC machine to make circular disks like this. ![]() |

It's easier to build the image in AI than in P'shop, but it's still all hand work. Illustrator will convert a rectangle into a circle. (It will even convert a line into a circle.) But the scale marks do not go along for the ride. ![]() Last edited by BigWalleye; 08-11-14 at 07:21 AM. |
