Neither I, nor the articles I linked to said that Means spoke for all the Lakota. It only says that he was affiliated with the AIM and the Republic of Lakotah, who are behind this 'succession'. A.I.M tried recruiting members in our res (Red Lake) back in the 80's and they were met at the edge of the res by our Tribal Leader Roger Jordain and others. Roger was shot in the leg when he refused to let them in, several arrests were made and A.I.M never came back!

Another thing soopaman2, I haven't lived on the reservation for decades. I have my own home, I'm retired and getting a pension, after working for over 40 years.
