Sea "Coll-regs" Question for skippers...

The "international regulations for preventing a collision at sea" or "rules of the road"

Has anyone noticed that the GWX3 ships or stock sh3 ships follow these rules....

I know the GWX3 ones do, as I had one episode where I was stand-on vessel when checking out Kristiansand I had a german destroyer coming out of harbour (to probably check on what he had seen on his radar).

He clearly altered course to port a little and went across my bow and proceeded down my star-board side...

I'm not moaning but IF I'm correct (he was showing his starboard side at me) and he WAS indeed "Give-Way" vessel, shouldn't he have altered course to starboard and gone down my port (left) side??
