Default Enigma Simulator mod help

can someone help me to make it so I can bring up the Enigma Simulator inside the game and manually decode radiograms?

I need to figure out how to get all the radio messages organized and encoded for each day and year available in the game, and then also put in the code sheets where I can read them and set up the machine to decode the radio message.

this will me a bit of a personal mod, for personal entertainment, unless others want it too.

I'm interested too, but it seems, at first sight, to be really difficult to do. Actually I can use my Enigma machine during the game but I'm talking about an Iphone software that I recommend. Actually I'm learning Morse Code too to reach a more realistic experience.
If you are interested you can visit our Enigma Flotilla, you'll be wellcome!!

If your interested i have made a "collection" of kodes for the day covering the whole periode. Its all in PDF format and usable with the enigma simulator.

I would suggest that IF you make this then let Neil promote an official Subsim Codebook covering the entire WWII periode of dates.

Actually an enigma machine can be fully scripted. It's just alot of work...

I'd take up the challenge but have no real understanding of how it works. Perhaps the developer that made the enigma program is a better candidate.

tell me how it works or how it's supposed to work. What are you wanting to see in game for this?

For Silent Hunter 3 I used this with my self made messages but I had to alt Tab to use it and that sucked.

I hope you find a way to build it in or design your own, how it works is in the manual.

By the way I find it a bloody shame that UBI didnt put it in the game, I toughed this was a pretty important machine in a U-Boot even Hollywood made some movies of it. And another plus point would be that you have a sort of minigame by deciphering the code since we got time enough.

From a command perspective, the Kaptain would never touch the Enigma. The radio operator would receive and decode the message and then call, or go and find, the Kaptain who would receive it personally.

My radio operator..... dont trust him.
Just like i didnt trust my deaf sound guy (until sober fixed him with a mod ).

Would be good to be able to decode messages. It would give you something to do while you patrol waiting for a contact.

Maybe someone could crate a card game (or some other type of game) to play as well. Maybe link it to one of the crew (dialog option?). And you play against them for money/matches. etc.

Might even make me want to play at 1x TC.

Alot of work i know....... but........ Room for thought..

A sleep mod, sit and eat mod,

Umm a total realism mod, where you have to eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom mod..... i know, im getting carried away now. but all would prob be possible.
