Default AA gun fix

Is there a fix for the aa gun to where the boat doesnt obstruct your view when you swing 360 degrees. i thought the new patch was supossed to fix it but i still cant see aircraft when i swing the aa gun around on certain parts of the ship.

Okay have 3 questions and a request

My first question is about the mod that randomizes the convoys with different ships and changes the report radius from the radio to the clip board! #1 there seems to be way too many convoys and reports that run thousands of miles away from my boat is there a way to reduce the radius of the reports to within lets say 500 to 750 square miles of your possition?

My Second question is has anyone seen the Horror Movie "Bellow" about a WWII American sub that is haunted by the Captain they Killed on the Sub after sinking a British Red Cross ship by accident? Anyways in that movie they had a Thermal graph in the subs command room that showed the temp changes for the water to show where thermal layers were! Anyway for someone to make one of those for the game boats???

My third question is When the new patch came out and was supost to stop the Plane search radar from picking up ships like it did well did it stop it from picking up anything at all? Ever since the patch I have never ever picked up anything on it at all! And is there a Mod that also makes available the other kind of radar for ships any sooner for sub upgrades?

Default precision rouler and other mod ideas

Hello,

i am not really often here, but i think, you can help me. i have some ideas for new mods, but i am not good in using photoshop. i want to have a precision rouler for measuring correct distances in the nav map (for correct speed measuring without contacts shown in nav map, only by using the hydrophon with active ping) i tried to use a mod for sh3 in sh4, but there are too many problems.

how can i use it for sh4 correctly. if i only put the files in my sh4 folder, the precision rouler is at the pencil view. i changed the names (pencilExt.tga with LineExt.tga) for having the rouler at the rouler symbol, but it isnt in the correct middle position... i think, i have to use photoshop, but i cant see anything in photoshop, if i am openig these tgas from the sh3 mod...

can somebody help me?

another idea is too make a better inner ring of the hydrophon scale. i am reading the absolute bearings of hydrophon contacts in this inner ring, but it is not very easy to read the correct bearing. is it possible to make a better, clearer inner ring for that?

This is one of the best support forums for a sim I have encountered.
I want to express my thanks to all of you that take the time to make a simulation the best it can be.
I have played Silent Hunter from the original to date. I have always had a love for the the Sub Simulations. Silent Hunter has come a long--------long way in Sub Simulation history.

Similar to Stage 1 but this time includes the choice (at your decision) to increase Bold/Decoy effectivity.
