I guess it's not really a "love triangle" but a " friendship quadrilateral.":hmm:

I really need to diagram this out.
Well I'm hoping to make a few friends so perhaps I should bring a Minister and a Lawyer along with me

Don't ya hate the red tape these days. It used to be oh so simple years ago.

One aspect of the 'friends' piece did interest me, though, where one supporter stated that the right to take time off work to look after a friend who was ill should be introduced. I assume the inference is that you can already do this for a partner or relative - how would I know - I'm self-employed!

Well, isn't this a good idea? How many single old people have no one to help when they are ill? Wouldn't they benefit from a friend who could take a few days off work to help? Seems quite a nice humanitarian suggestion to me.
Well said Clive!

This thread was yet another example of Subman's, misleading, right-wing propaganda spam campaign.

FFS, could you be any more intolerant?

First the Atheists, now the gays.
Geez grow a sense of humor will you?
Besides that, analyze who is 'intolerant'. Hahahahaha! I could never hope to compete with either group you mention Stealth Hunter! They take intolerance to new levels never seen before in history!

All I'm pointing out, if you really want to know, is not the fact that friends want a legal friendship as you think, but actually what these people have 'reduced' marriage to.

As they say, don't shoot the messenger.

You've never been "just the messenger". It's your own message, and you carry it with relish.

In my mind they have not reduced it - you still have a choice to live your marriage as you used to. They have not imposed their view on marriage on you

sorry to tell ya (not really) but you already are, and you're doing "better" than them
from what i can read from your posts you seem to be some old white dude, sitting on his front porch yelling at everything then goes inside and curses at the commies, gays and everything else that doesnt fit your mindset followed by a quick prayer to god in hopes of him destroying communism and gay people

Ya know, if the state wasn't permitted to be involved in mariages and they were considered to be a strictly religious issue, we wouldn't even have to worry about this junk.

I take that back. Some people would worry, but no one would have to care.
