Cool. If they legally recognize friendship, I'll be able to write off my other 3 personalities:rotfl:

And when i meet Jimbuna at the subsim meeting, that will really be awkward. So, will I be cheating on everybody else?

I guess it's not really a "love triangle" but a " friendship quadrilateral.":hmm:

I really need to diagram this out.

To ease the paperwork, you could simply export your facebook friends lists to the appropriate government agency

Much of this is just a none story - how many friends would be bothered to 'legalise' their friendship? Who cares? I don't really follow subman's implied objections to gay marriages, either. Again, who cares?

One aspect of the 'friends' piece did interest me, though, where one supporter stated that the right to take time off work to look after a friend who was ill should be introduced. I assume the inference is that you can already do this for a partner or relative - how would I know - I'm self-employed!

Well, isn't this a good idea? How many single old people have no one to help when they are ill? Wouldn't they benefit from a friend who could take a few days off work to help? Seems quite a nice humanitarian suggestion to me.

Good post Clive.

Who cares? No harm to me. Doesn't impact me. Whats the big deal?
