Being a Biker my whole life?
I can say this.

What happened is a part of the dangers we face and accept.

Snap is not giveing up!!
I feel that in my heart!

yes, he has a long road to fight through.
But knowing those danged Bikers like I do?

He'll be drinking your beer and danceing with the ladies
before you know it!!

And he now has bragging rights!!

My prayers, and all the guys I talk to,
always pray for downed riders.

Be strong!
Snap needs that from everyone!
I know haveing been there myself.

Keep the faith, Ron. I can ditto Privateer's sentiments about bikers. They're a hardy breed. Keep thinking positively and we'll keep praying and hoping for the best.

Everything is back to the way it was before the organ failure. His liver wasn't functioning properly for some time. He went into shutdown mode. They pumped some fluid through him to clean out his system. I truly hope that is the last of the problems.

Ron.

Hang in there Ron. It will take some time. When I lost my '68 Electraglide chopper, (due to a careless driver) I spent 8 months recovering. I know your brother is in worse shape than I was as i was able to jump clear, but leaping at 35 mph did some rough stuff still. I'm glad I wore my leathers and helmet religiously.

This will be my last reply to you guys cause possibly on either monday or tuesday my brother is going to be home at last. We are going to have a friend staying with us until he is able to do everything on his own. They don't want him up and about too much. Just some weekend tests to do before he gets the green light to leave. Thank God! The paralysis has faded though he will be using a chair to move around most of the time until his legs get stronger. The great thing is the he only suffered broken ribs. I am sure he is eager to come back to subsim after being cooped up in a hospital room without internet. It's been nice meeting you all. Thank you for everything!

Sincerely.
Ron.

That is great news Ron. The human body is an amazing organ that has a hidden will to survive, mostly driven by the human brain. I'm glad eveything is come back on line and all systems normal. When he gets home, blop him down in front of the computer for some re-coop time and time to work on his mod that was started before this. And another thing, thanks for being there for him...sometimes that is the one best thing. Kudos to you!
