When Jimbuna is 200 kms west of Gib, it is safe to operate there. No one dares to pinch periscopes then

Kaleuns had to deal with the fuel/torpedo issue in real life.

Hardegan took 23 days for instance to reach the coast of America using maximum fuel conservation, but had enough stored to return in only 10 days.

Also he was not allowed to use torpedoes on any ship less than 20K on the way to the coast.
