Hey guys.. great news.

I contacted Beartooth91 about his question with RFB compability.
So I downloaded RFB and checked all files.

It seems RFB adds no ships so you can use stock version (with RSRDC phase II) together with RFB.

Beartooth91 tested the manual together with RFB and RSRDC phase II.
And no problems occured.

So here's the link for the RFB compatible recognition manual.

If you encounter any kind of problem, please let me know.

Foo

EDIT : NEWER RFB VERSION AVAILABLE FROM 1ST PAGE

Since there's now an RSRDC-compatible version, I'm now gonna give this mod a spin...when I'm back home, that is!

Everyone -

On my 2nd computer, I went back to RFB RC1. I then installed RSRDC v240 (for RFB) over it, then the RSRDC v240 patch 1. After all that, I installed the RSRDCV3 rec manual version over all the above. Then took the boat on patrol, opened the rec manual, and flipped thru ALL of the pages during my transit to off Honshu. No CTD's. It works.

Thats right, most of them are silluettes of ships and the roster files.
Just enable this mod when in base.
If something should go wrong you can always remove it with JGSME.

If you use CapnSurvy's ship manual targeting mod, don't forget to enable that after this mod !

Foofighter could you do me a big favor mate. I used to use the old names of the marus such as huge european liner, large modern tanker, medium old composite superstructure freighter etc, etc with the "old aspect ratio", by finding out the new aspect ratio i could get my AOB. Would you be so kind as to give me a list of the new names you use along side of there old names:example: Hakitu Maru=medium old tanker

Because i have the "old aspect ratio's" for those boats. Thanks mate I love your new recognition manual. Forgot to say i only need the maru's not warships at all.

That's a good question.. I am using the maru names for about 6 months now.
But there a way to find out.

Can you please go to data/roster/names.cfg (open with notepad).

Please copy and paste the ships (sea) content in this topic.
I will fill in the Maru names for you.

@sqk7744 Thanks mate

@everybody.. I will release a newer version of the RFB manual mod later this evening.
RFB has an own menu1024.768.ini which was not included.

I had no complains so far so there should not be to much differences between stock SH4 and RFB menu file.

Awesome thanks so much mate. I had an idea for you if you like, i know it might be a pain in the butt, but it would be great to have those maru ships with the aspect ratio figures in the manual, I have the aspect ratio numbers if you need them, just a small suggestion for ya, let me know if you would like the numbers. This helps so much to find out angle on bow when not using map updates. Thanks again Foo

I have no room to put it, If I make the length longer some parts will not be visible.
I have no idea where to put them otherwise.
