I fully agree it's a normal procedure to dive the boat when an enemy aircraft is detected.

But sometimes availability of the flak is crucial for your survival. Especially when unable to dive due to some critical damage. Unfortunately one may come after being dive bombed by a puny corvette or ch-28.

And as to my experience Flaks are of a real help when you deck awashed at night attacking enemy cargo or even a light ASW escorts.

Anyway it's a great shame to have such a barrel onboard and be unable to use it.. and loosing renoun to upgrade something inoperable can't be a lucky strike at that I guess...

May be there's still a way to get it fixed..?
