Need help with this...

Same Old Deck Gun Issue.

Recently upgraded my bow deck gun to double fore'n'aft one.

Issue No.1
Couldn't man my aft DG.

Even the slots for crew to man vanished unlike the Fore DG, which is ok (meaning it's manned all right)..but...

Issue No.2
The Fore Gun is uncontrollable, completely. Unlike the Stern one.

Did my best in a way of "...Support/How To/NewColetrainsAndOthersDGfix", but manning the Aft DG is the only achievement. Appeared even slots for gunners . Unlike the Gun Name in the crew management screen..

But can't control the bow gun still.. Only the Aft DG.

Any help appreciated.

this is the way.

you have Ubi to thank for that feature. there is no fix that any of us have discovered.

i remember the first time i encountered it. i forget which boat i was driving and it had one DG, forward. while in port, a new option appeared for two DG, one fore and one aft, and i probably had the same thought as you: i can man the forward gun and my crew can fire the aft weapon and we will rule the seas.

imagine my surprise when we went to sea and i discovered that the only weapon i could direct was the aft weapon. Nuts.

FYI, i stopped the mission, reloaded my in-port-save, and got rid of the second DG.

Gonna push forward with 30 degree blind zone of my aft and a bunch of cowboys shelling out everything from a bow
