cpu a10-7700k 4.1 Ghz / 4 cores
MB ASUS H81m-plus
RAM 8 GB
MSI Gforce 770 2 GB
Windows 10 Pro (Original)

i have fresh intaled game v1.2.0 and TWoS 2.2.14
everything is patch correctly ect.
today i have notice that when i'm using "silent runnig" no matter w/ or w/o
"silent boat mode" (F8) no matter what way i turn it on, my u-boot does not change speed and RPM. only icon that appers on top of screen tells me that we running silent w/ -55 rpm but nothing happens. need to adjust manualy 1 or 2 kn speed to slow down and reduce noise. I have reinstal OS,Uplay,Game,TWoS
(duble check paths/folder arguments) it just stop works in this update in my case

Silent running automatically reduces the speed to 1 knot when F8 is used.
When silent running F8 is cancelled the boat will remain at 1 knot until you change the speed.
You can use the keyboard numbers to do this.

Welcome aboard!

In my installation of TWoS 2.2.14, silent running adjusts automatically the speed to 1 knot. No need to touch the speed manually.

Question:

What is the tonnage needed to gain some decorations in TWoS? I have many decorations in KSD but NOTHING in SH5. I sunk near 350.000 tons. in Happy Times, now in patrol December 1940.

Max. realism with external view and no Enigma.

Is there some way to modify the realism% or some other parameter inside the game for obtain a decoration in the game? KSD setting for historical awards, it works.

I recently installed the latest update and unfortunately the radio operator's icon disappeared to send a submarine status and contact report. Is it okay or is it my fault?

Hey Fitz!
Ingame medals system can not really be mended to required realistic levels. Luckily, we have KSD for that...

Check your optional addons for radioman UI commands or use WO/ radioman's interaction dialogs...

A weird glitch happens in my installation of TWoS to imported SH3 DC racks that French and Japanese destroyers use:

They play this animation all the time, not just when dropping DCs.

I have just done a clean reinstall of 2.2.14. And the F8 key to toggle Silent Running does not work at all. When speaking with the EO and selecting Rig for Silent Running he says "nicht möglich".
Before this version i was running version 2.2.9 and I am sure it worked back then.

A quick fix I just tested is to delete all animation related nodes in both DC rack and operator, in data\Library\DC_R_KG.dat file. The weapon still functions properly without the animation (and imo it looks better than with it constantly playing).

If you'd like to retain the animation but have it only play when it's appropriate, then I guess it would be more complicated. SH5 doesn't seem to recognize condition for starting the animation as it is defined in the SH3 dat file, and I have no idea how to properly set up a condition for animation start.

Are you submerged? What about F7 key? JSGME screenshot?
