I would suggest that having spent a lot of money updating windows you would do well to upgrade to the dvd 'Wolves of the Pacific' which also comes with extras and will upgrade you from v1.4 to v1.5.
The dvd is quite cheap these days from Amazon. You will also benefit from a bigger variety of mods available. You should not install in the 'Program x86 Folder.' it would be better to install simply in C:\SH4 and let the installation do the rest as it will also install a 'SH4 Folder' in your 'Documents Folder.'
