I'd be happy changing nothing but giving me SH5 graphics.

I think that adding limited ammo to the destroyers would be nice. Once was depth charged for 32 hours straight by a DD in which time he had dropped 1000 depth charges. I seriously doubt they held that many on one ship

I thought this through some more and to me the most important thing to fix, above all else, is game saves. Make it so we can save anyplace, anytime, under any conditions, without any adverse reactions.

Good point.

Nothing worse for me than stumbling onto a convoy just as I am ready to head off to bed. Either I end up letting the convoy go so I can save in peace or rush an attack which usually ends up costing me boat and crew.

To be able to save in the middle of an attack or evasion would be sweet.

Subscribe.

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one falling asleep on the keyboard, at 01 am, so I can finish my attack run and evade the escorts, before I can save safely

They were't even available in the UK before the war's end, at that was with regular overseas trade! Where did blockaded Germany get them from, Poland?
Actually they got them from Spain and Portugal. Bananas are cultivated in the Canarian Islands and the Azores.
Portugal and Spain were neutral, they simply shipped them to Portugal mainland (prior to the Allied use of the Azores) or Spain mainland and then they were transported to occupied France or Germany.
So Bananas in a U-Boot, yeah could have happened.

I'm thinking maybe the Dev's did that on purpose?

Cool, thanks for that. I didn't consider the Spanish connection. I shall look on my gently swinging banana bunches with a new eye.

Nobody on my boat seems to eat them though...need a mod that reduces them by one or two a day.

I'd like to be able to pick up survivors.

I'd like to see a walk-about Type II. (Engine room, Torpedo room, etc.)

I'd like to see a WAC style Wilhelmshaven for NYGM.

How about shore-leave ?.... you get to go into town with your crazy crewmates, get drunk as skunks and have a big fist fight with the local Luftwaffe unit

Then buy some more bananas

Just like CAoD. A early 90's game that got this right!
Used to love watching those little yellow markers moving in on a convoy, waiting till they distract the escorts, and then I am going in!

I woul like to get a patch for SH3 with following content:

- Weather simulation:
- wind to land/sea depending on sun and time
- different weather in different areas of the world
- realistic endurance of good and bad weather
- Thermal layers depending on area (atlantik, nortsea, eastsea, mediteriansea, and so on) and weather

- subs can quantify the noise speed in the water when going to depth and back -> after that you know the best depth to hide or to detect surface ships

- Option to order a roleplan for the crew for all situations and with choice on two or three watch system

- Choice to control a german sub or an enemy destroyer, special for multiplayer

- multiplayer server without tunngle or hamachi

- support for 64bit os with option to use more than 4GB RAM without any other patch
