Red October, you just need to trust me on this. My son is big time in to legos. They still sell the old fashioned kits. Yes, they do sell those you like you mentioned, but they're meant for the smaller kids.

I see fewer and fewer of the old fashioned kits in stores though. It disappoints me.

There's been times in the last year where I walked by the toy section in Wal-Mart and actually kinda wanted to get another lego set...for old times sake.
