Maybe I'll go for a bit of snowdriving tommorow, if the weather is lousy enough (to avoid all the hikers that flood the valley on nice sndays) and I'll post some pictures of how an Alpine winter looks like

No snowdriving around here tonight, winds at a constant 25 MPH, gusts up to 55 MPH, Wind chill temps to hit -25 to -30 tonight. I hate winter!!!!

Well its been snowing all night just opened me curtains and there must be 3 to 4 inches and still coming down, but at least my garden looks like everyone else's

We northerners have no problems with snow and ice, of course, deviations occur with cancellations and so, and that some drivers can not drive when it's slippery, some running as it were summer conditions in some situations, which in turn leads problems in traffic, but I can recommend a trip to Scandinavia to learn about living close to winter, I can arrange accommodation well, learn to drive in "real winter conditions"
