All the more reason the Ravens will win. Plus I think that was with the Colts. Different team now.

I'm biased of course.

As am I

EDIT: The last (9th) win by Manning over the Ravens was in a Bronco uniform.

Stuff like that makes it real hard to hate a division rival. The Colts organization has proved over and over again that they're very classy.

A lot of money in Texas and New England according to this report.

you would think it was the super bowl or something

http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/stor...-las-vegas-odd

Quote:
Bob Scucci, sports book director for Coast Casinos, had taken twice as many bets on the New England Patriots
as he had on the Houston Texans.

However, the total money bet on Sunday’s second divisional playoff game was almost even.

“The public loves the Patriots, but the bigger money is on the Texans,”

I will not talk smack. It is a jinx. Goooooo Niners. Whoooooooos got it better than us? Nooooooobody!

All I will say is....Thank goodness Kaepernick knows how to take a slide when he runs!

*points and laughs at RG3*

It is great to have a qb who can run, but if he sucks at pocket passing then he will never suceed. Right Micheal Vick, Cam Newton?

What did I see? I may be off, but torn MCL and ACL? That knee is nonexistent. It is a mangled mess.

10-12 month recovery?

I could be off, I did not read this but heard secondhand.

I wonder if Subway will sign him on for another year, he can show that million dollar grin in his wheelchair.

I think I more meant on talking crap about my my boys are going to plaster their boys, is all. I am refraining from anything other than guessing the over unders until my niners are knocked out. No jinxing!

RG3 is overhyped, he is a press invention, and simply pointing it out.

He got more hype than Luck or even Peyton Manning coming back from multiple neck surgeries. What about Colin Kaepernick of the 49ers who has come into his own this year, and Russell Wilson from the Hawks?

These guys have not had the hype this showboat moron has, yet achieved more than he ever will.

Sure RG3 can run. But he cannot pass in the pocket. Which is fine, Vick is the same way, and has gotten a good career. But unlike Vick, RG3 has the inability to slide, because he is a stat whore. A slide here and there might have reduced your run by 2 yards, but may have saved your knee.

Now his ego, has cost him a massive injury, Shanahan is to blame partly as well, he let him play messed up. Ego ego ego.

Edit: waste of a great athlete.

You are just repeating yourself, and it is still talking smack if you are dissing other teams\players.

No harm in a little smack talk but you seem to loathe certain people.

Perhaps RG3 is simply a rookie and has things to learn.
And......he is not responsible for the media circus.

CK and Russel Wilson are actually fortunate to play where they are which helps them avoid that circus. If you like them as much s you say don't wish it on them, as you do them no favors.

Kaepernick has got a long way to go before you can even talk about him being a Vick-level player, let alone one of the all time greats like Peyton Manning. He's started in what, 8 games? Never played in a playoff game. Talk to me in 10 years.

Furthermore, I totally agree with Rick. RG3's a really good player. He's a rookie, which means that he is still a developing player, but his future looks bright. No reason to hate on him like that.

My only worry is the extent of that knee injury. It is not a simple acl tear, it is an acl and an lcl tear.

He may have ruined his own career. But all the blame does not lie on him.

Mike Shanahan played him hurt, and may have cost a great athlete his future. Perhaps smoking RG3 was wrong, ok, but a slide here and there...Man... For real?

So Takeda, why do I have to shut up about Kaepernick for 10 years, but you spout utter flowers and sunshine for rookie RG3?

It's Kaepernicks second year. Rg3 is a rookie.

One is in a wheelchair, the other plays the packers at home.

Just wondering?

So my guy needs 10 years RG3 is black Jesus?

Soops, I seem to recall you singing CK's praises like he was the second coming when he took over at QB, only to call for benching him two weeks later after that boneheaded play he made in his own endzone costing the 49ers that game.

You wanted Smith back at QB.......only to flip flop again after a game or two. You recall that, right?

Anybody can be a one season wonder. We all just need to wait to see how CK's career plays out. He just might be the next Aaron Rodgers.....we just don't know that yet.

You know, a blown out knee can happen to anybody. You blame RG3's misfortune on him and his coach, when it was just a misfortune which happens in football.

Ever heard of Adrian Peterson? His knee got blown up one year ago. Let's hear some smack on him and his coach...surely there is an opportunity to blame someone there too, right?

I hope RG3 can recover and play ball again. He is a good talent and it is fun to watch him play.
Why dump on him so hard??????????

If he had been fortunate enough to play for the 49ers instead of the Redskins he may not have HAD to run so much.

Yep, it's a bad one. That happens to a lot of running quarterbacks; they just don't know when to stop fighting for the yards and slide. Vick didn't know for years. In fact, it wasn't until after prison that he started sliding well. Trust me, I know; all the talk in Philly was about if he knew when to slide when McNabb got hurt.

I don't know about ruining his career, but he will have to adjust his play style when he returns.

Like I said, it's part of the learning process for this type of quarterback. And this is from a guy that spent the last 14 seasons watching nothing but runners, and grew up watching the prototype running QB.

Now, this is the problem that you and I have been having. You've got to stop putting words in people's mouths. I didn't tell you to shut up. I said that you cannot compare Kaepernick to any of those players. Like it not RG3, while still a rookie, has more starting experience that Kaepernick. He doesn't even have a full season. Never took a snap as a starter in a playoff game either. There is still a lot of time in seeing if either of those players will be starting in a few seasons. After all, Gus Ferotte looked pretty good for awhile too. So, the jury's still out, and way out, on both of them.

Football is a dangerous game. Kaepernick could be in a wheelchair on Monday for all anyone knows; players get seriously hurt all the time. I certainly wouldn't subscribe to the idea that injury is failure.

I am so glad you all are used to my jerkoffery.

Too patient with me at times. I would have brigged me 2 months after I got here!

Rick my flipping on Kaepernick was documented. I saw some of the crap he pulled in New Orleans, and he kinda scared me.

I was wrong, but I was also a fan.

I trust Jim Harbaughs decisions, seeing how he turned a joke Smith into a viable playoff winning qb.

He drafted Kaepernick, and this change was inevitable.

I disagreed with putting out Smith due to injury, rather than performance.

Smith was 5th in the league at qb when pulled. Kaep has done a great job, even with his rookie mistakes.. He is rattled by crowd noise, my biggest peeve.

RG3? My criticisms? Extend partly to the coach, he was played hurt. I can be harsh, but when you put yourself in the highlight, then try to live up to that hype, rather than just playing football, then it opens yourself up for trouble.

This guy had 3 subway commercials on the air before he even took an NFL snap, that was my point on him buying into his own hype.
So how about the real rookie QB, Andrew Luck! What a year he's having!

edit: Learn to slide RG3. Put your team above personal stats.
